Background info: Before I get into the plot, this takes place in a fantasy version of the American Wild West where there are dragons instead of horses. Most people in the West have a dragon who is their partner, especially outlaws. The picture below depicts the different dragons and which you can choose from. The dragons are usually about 8 feet tall at most so bigger than horses but not gigantic. This will be an adventure, fantasy, slice of life RP that is semi advance and platonic.
Y/C is a dragon whose partner is Lucas LeRoy, head of the LeRoy gang in Montana. He was raised by the man and been his partner for the last three decades. Well, that is until the law caught up to them. The gang disperses and Y/C is caught. Lucas is sent to a prison upstate and Y/C is rooted up out of the only life he had ever known.
Dragons usually aren’t punished for the crimes of their human partners and he is sent to live on a ranch run by a man named Silas Morgan. The ranch is a home for dragons whose partners are gone in one way or another. Silas has a ten year old niece named Louise “ Lou” Ann Rose who moved from the city to the country after the death of her parents. Theresa aren’t any dragons in the big cities, mostly just horses and so Lou is a bit scared of the creatures. Silas assigns her to watch over Y/C and a friendship sparks between them.
I plan on this being more arcs than one large overarching plot.
