I'm not one to waste time on introductions. I'm Aster and that's the only name I need to go by.


Here are the plots I have in mind. Do msg me if anything catches your eye and we shall discuss things in PM.

  1. I'm looking for literate and creative writers. Quality over quantity. While I do love some juicy details, I would much prefer a RP reply where something is actually HAPPENING instead of reading just a bunch of descriptive text on what I wrote in my previous post. I'm not someone picky with response length but I usually post minimum 2 paragraphs. (But that's just me. ATM due to all the RPs I currently have, I'd like a more casual-paced RP so hopefully nothing exceeding 5-6 paragraphs if you want me to reply within the day or week).
  
  
  2. I'm in a different timezone (the majority of the Rpnation population resides in the states and I live on the other side of the world in narnia) so my replies will be delayed. Because I'm finishing up uni soon I'd be hella busy with my final semester BUT despite a hectic schedule, I will post. Just... later than most. It may take 1-2 weeks. It may take a month. I'd need a rp partner who is committed and flexible on this bc I keep most of my RPs for long term, ranging from a 1-2 years or more.
  
  
  3. If the RP is going no where, I will let you know and I would like it if you tell me if and when you feel the same. Restarting a RP or simply dropping it (WITH NOTICE) is better than dragging it on like a chore.
  
  
  3.5 Also, if you plan on dropping a RP or leaving/going on hiatus, whatever, please inform me and let me know. It's a courtesy and I won't be upset if you do inform me (in fact I'll be less upset than if you don't).
  
  
  4. Some writers have compatibilities with some, but not always; or so I believe. Because I'm a shit who thinks this, it'll be nice to submit a writing sample (else I'll dig it up myself if I have to) when you PM me. It'll save me the trouble of scrounging.
  
  
  5. Most important rule of all: PLEASE DON'T LET ME CARRY THE RP BY MYSELF. Roleplaying is like dancing and I rather make a fool and write by myself than write with someone who doesn't show any intention of developing the plot and character. Nothing will make me drop the RP faster like a hot potato than a RP where I have to carry.

  While I am opened to explore different themes, I do have a preference for all things with Fantasy (from high fantasy to futuristic).
  
  *disclaimer: most of these prompts would require the use of side characters so a lot of planning and discussion may go into the RP before it's executed. I would recommend all discussions be held on discord since I reply faster in instant chats than over PM
  
  Here's a few prompts I'm down to explore:
  
  
  Spoiler: The Chosen

  On the accursed day, the day of the Winter Solstice, two individuals are born: one with the ability to break the Dark Curse prophesied by the Ancient and the other, the one who starts the curse. Only problem is, no one knows which is which - or who these individuals are. (Set in a fantasy kind of world like Dragon Age, Skyrim, you name it)

  Regalias (Sequel to Insignia) were once items which allowed Magisters to activate their Magik. Now replaced with Regulators, the only Regalia left in great kingdom of Imperia, is the Royal Sigil, an ancient artifact containing great power and the seal used to determine the ruler of Imperia.

  When King Regulus suddenly falls ill, the Royal family is divided into two factions: the Vellore and the Greania. The Vellore acted fast and placed their cruel Prince on the throne as Regent. All the while, the Sigil had reacted to one of the Greania's children in front of eyewitnesses which were soon silenced by the grave. Shortly afterwards, the Sigil "disappeared".
  
  The suspicious activity stirred further animosity between the two factions and a civil war is soon brewing among the kingdom.
  
  Your character is a Magister, here to uncover the truth or to obey your faction's commands.
  
  (Set in a world like Final Fantasy xv and heavily lore related)
  
  
  
  Spoiler: Gang Wars

  A and B are leaders of the most notorious gangs in [location name]. With fast growing numbers and only so much territory to occupy, the two would have to decide whether to fight for complete dominion or to make a peace treaty. With vastly different ideals, can the two gangs even get along?

  Same idea, however the two gangs have magic abilities (small enhancements, nothing explosive.) and they're both fighting for dominion of the "Key". No one knows for sure what the Key is but it's theorized to be the item which has been granting the gangs special powers. Only one may wield the Key and your OC has no plans to back out from having it.

  So as a sucker for Dragon Age, I think it's only fair I have an RP prompt for this as well. Please note that I've only followed DA: Inquisition so I don't know much about the other games. (In depth anyways)

  There's no us in Inquisitor....wait: The Inquisitor, The Herald of Andraste, Character A, has defeated Corypheus and peace seems to have returned to the world, however as a parting gift it appears he has left a special rift in Oralius. Fearful of what this could mean the Inquisitor takes their companions and heads for the location of the rift but when out of the rift appears are band of travelers that claim to be members of the Inquisition but they appear very different. It appears that this rift has broken into the various alternate realities and have scattered Inquisitors of alternate dimensions all over Character A's reality. While some remain good hearted and righteous others come from worlds that were destroyed or assimilated by Corypheus' rule and seek to plunder this reality. Character B is an alternate Inquisitor and seeks to aid in saving Character A's reality from this invasion.
  
  
  *On another note, while these are the prompts I can think of so far, I am open to entertain other prompts suggested. Not all my RPs have to be so grand and thought out. I'm peachy with a go with the flow.

  Okay so aside from all the yummy action packed, fantasy stuff I'm also a fan of character building and exploring different relations. Which means, I'm also opened to romance RPs though I must say unfortunately, I will not be taking on anymore MxM or FxF rps due to the number of gay ships I'm currently maintaining. I do explore themes of platonic relationships, asexual relations and various forms of love that steer off the grid as your "typical cliche romance". (Twisted love, included). I play both M and F. And no, I don't have anything against typical cliche romance, I'm just not looking for that.
  
  Which means: Please don't PM me if you're looking for a romance-based RP where you're typical guy falls for your typical girl in a healthy fluffy relationship.
  
  So here's just some additional pairings, prompts and fandoms I'm in and welcomed to try out:
  If you’re looking for romance, I’d only be willing to do gender reversal roles, unhealthy relationships, platonic relationships, one-sided relationships, rivalry, or disciple/parental relationships.
  
  *What do I mean by gender reversal roles?
  No, I don’t mean trans. I mean like you’re generic stereotypical female roles are played by males and vice versa with male roles.
  
  E.G. A male ballet dancer with a female hip-hop dancer.​
  A merman and a female pirate.​
  A male prince and a female commoner. (although this pairing is still a bit cliche, I find it less overbearing than a princess and a male commoner)​
  
  
  *What do I mean by platonic relationships?
  Any relationship where a male and female are CLOSE without needing to be romantically involved.
  
  
  *What do I mean by disciple/parental relationship?
  I’m not talking about a daddy-kink. I mean a relationship where Muse A looks up to Muse B as an idol and strives to be like Muse A.
