double-posting glitch thingy

i don't really know how old this is or if it's just me experiencing the issue—or if another thread about this has been made—but with every comment (excluding conversations and creating threads) i post, it duplicates the message and merges it in one. i know the ordeal about posts merging, yeah, but the double-posting when you only clicked the send the message once is rather annoying.


does there happen to be any way of fixing this or?

This happens to me a few times, all I can say is if you can, edit the post and remove the duplicated portion manually

The only time I've seen double was when I hit "show recent posts" and hit "post reply" around the same time, causing it to update the new messages twice. However it fixes itself when you refresh the page

For me it's happened before if I was using a really slow internet connection. I have a super fast (and fucking expensive) connection at home but if I'm somewhere else and using their much slower connection, I've seen it double post for me.
