//LOUD LAUGHING ....

so obviously this is a parody of that lovely drawing by the renowned suzunosuke, this time featuring mine and my dearest friend's characters. This was done about a month ago :>

these two have a long ass history and this picture isn't reflective of any of it x"D just something I did to kill that aforementioned friend inside :')

on the left is the thunderbird (!!! not angel) Rai. on the right is the contract demon Raz (short for Eliraz) whom is mine. in short, the two of them are supernatural hunters.

Aye thank you so much! ^^ I've mostly been experimenting with brushes and shading (haha help) but I've been really happy with what's turning out :'D

I wanna hear the story *^* they are just too cute to ignore

Love the title of this thread, anyways exceptional job on the art! Now you claim they're doodles, alright so let's see one of your serious works

@The Mechanist

haha thank you! and that's just the thing :^) my skills consist of doodling and not much else ahahah x'D I'm tentative about doing anything serious because I wouldn't really know how to go about it! Things like composition, perspective and space I don't have the faintest idea about (what with not having taken art lessons... ||OTL) and to be fair I don't think I'd have the time to work on anything serious ahaha. I do these in whatever pockets of spare time I have, and if I started something and didn't finish I'd probably lose the feel for it when the next time rolls around.

:'> that aside, I'm honestly really glad you enjoy my stuff! sorry for rambling and potentially having falsely raised your hopes x'D

No it's fine ^-^ you do you!

@KiKi Kitsune

aahah aww thank qwq!! but I 100% assure you I probably can't tell you everything in one post-- and besides I don't have any of it properly written down so my storytelling would be spotty at best pfft. It's kinda a silly premise too but the general gist?

The Queendom of Sasaën, as I've called it, is something a fantasy world. Unfortunately, not with your elves and orcs and fairies and whatnot....

Magic, yes, and other stuffs but uh that's not what you wanted to know ahahaha. Onto the romanticized creation story to tell your young'uns!

Arrival of the Opalites

In the beginning, there were three kernals.

653.png

Each were identical to the other, for they were sisters. The three were meant to be equal; equal in wisdom, equal in beauty and equal in power.

The three moons of Sasaën, whom too were equal, were then young and powerless and had yet to rise and bring upon the night. They awaited

the call of the three goddesses to pull them across the sky.

Upon the appearance of the three kernals, the three moons rose- except, they rose unequally. The first two moons, the moons of Naamah and
Voicëi, blocked out the light of the third. The first two rays of moonlight struck the two kernals, and immediately the two goddesses, birthed from
within, brought life to their surroundings. The third moon's rays did not reach the earth that night, even as the twin moons bathed the new world

in silver- Aëlla's moon the world did not see for eight moonrises.

And for the same eight moonrises, Aëlla's kernal remained still and lifeless.

The three goddesses were no longer equal, for Aëlla would no bring with her life until the ninth moonrise of the world. Already, upon the ninth

moonrise, the first two moons were brighter and more beautiful than the third. And thus, the three sisters were no longer equal.

-

The Black Sheep Prince

The three goddesses existed then in relative harmony. They furthered the development of the twilit young world, and soon all of the then-empty,

featureless land was turned into plains, rivers, forests, and mountains. As they walked, life sprang into place beneath their hooves: all manners of

plant, bird, beast and bug.

One night, the trio came upon a barren, rocky cliff. From its plateau, speckles of dim light spilled and rose towards the sky, growing brighter the

further they ascended. Coming nearer to the source, the goddesses found a dark kernel resting upon the ground. As they neared, watching,

pinpricks of light punctured through the surface of the smooth kernel. The specks of light spilled forth, and settled upon the sky in the same

manner as was upon the shell of the kernel.

652.png

Soon, the murky sky was filled with stars- and where the dark kernel once was, a small, violet Orron stood. Despite being different in appearance

to the goddesses, the goddess Naamah immediately took the young one under her wing. In the nights following, the elder sisters acted as tutors

for the young Miyohë. Naamah and Voicëi guided him, teaching him of the world that had been created for the eventual coming of the mortal

orronkind- the orronkind that were to be created in the image of the goddesses themselves, the ones that would hail the moons as their matron

creators. The ultimate plan of Naamah and Voicëi- the Queendom of Sasaën.

As the two goddesses stood overlooking a plains chosen to be the home of the orronkind, Miyohë stood beside the goddesses, spectating the

creation of the creatures that would be the perfect balance of plant and animal. They were beautiful, shining, and intelligent. The ones intended to

inherit the world, and the ones the goddesses would thereafter watch from afar.

"The Orron whom will call you their prince."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

um and that's about the only part I actually am 100% clear about |'D Things only get complicated from here on out. Aёlla was never happy with her lot

in life (obviously) and the unfairness of it all has manifested as envy within her heart, quietly stewing. She is the third goddess who does not receive

the same love as her sisters from their creation (the Opalites as they become known, named after their pelts which look the part), the goddess really

nobody cared to pay attention to. To get back at them, she poisons Miyohë's heart, turning their precious son against them- as again, he's also feeling

the ramifications. (The Goddesses and the Opalites, everyone around him, are so different from him. I betcha can imagine the feel of an outcast here.)

Rather well summed up in this piece of his--

"A promised prince?
Hark, hark! But no,
the moonlight blesses me not.
Mine darkened heart beats only for
the silence of the stars.

"My pelt shines not of heavenly light.
My eyes gleam luminous none.
Hear not my pain'd pleas, dear mother,
for mine cries have turnt to enmity.

"Search not for me,
this forgotten prince
whose soul is strewn with strife.
Mine darkened heart beats only for
the silence of the stars."

Basically that's what goes down in Aëlla's Treachery, (um plot points I kinda name only so i sort of know what's going on "D) So uh... Miyohë defects.

A ruler is crowned for the Opalite kingdom (the Naamacëi lineage as they come to be known as, descendants of the goddesses. Pliaryë, second-

youngest, is crowned. His five sisters remain his close advisors.) The goddesses decide to withdraw from mortal Orronkind. Lucinë and Siyovë, sisters

with no known family line, are discovered by Miyohë and taken in. (Lucinë; wandering scholar with the stars in her eyes. Siyovë; the maned-cloak sorcerer.

oh and uh Miyohë; the prince whose ears gods whisper to. something like that. :^) This marks the official start of the Pinfire kingdom, lead by Miyohë.

Lucinë, despite not having magic like her sister, is a brilliant scholar who was never ruled by emotion. Which is why, being rational and level-headed,

she was chosen for a mission (Lucinë's Mission) to infiltrate the Opalite Kingdom, getting at the prince. She 'joins' the side and, coupled of her intelligence and

capability, over time gains the trust of the kingdom. However, as Lucinë spends time in the Opalite kingdom and gets to know the prince... Before, she

only knew one type of personality- which was the king Miyohë and Siyovë are, a type of cold and quiet. However, then there was Pliaryë, who was completely

different. It knocked her off of her hooves, and she began to see the Opalites in a different light. Soon, she begins to doubt Miyohë and her sister, but

remains loyal to the Pinfire kingdom because, no matter what, her sister is still her sister and they hold each other dearly.

However, it is still no doubt that she has fallen in love with Pliaryë, and the prince does the same... (The Prince and the Scholar) However, of course, the

kingdom clamors for a Queen to be crowned, and the eldest of Pliaryë's sisters, Aithnë (whom he confided in regarding Lucinë) convinced him for the good

of the kingdom and to prevent unrest, he needed to take a suitable Queen. (I think after consulting with the goddesses, an Orron was brought to life that was meant

to be a perfect Queen for Pliaryë? not sure)

Her name is Maëve (Maëve, the Opalite Queen) and... She, too, truly falls in love with Pliaryë. Maëve knows that Pliaryë loves someone else, but loves him too much

and doesn't say- she looks after the child of Lucinë and Pliaryë as if he were her own. Still, she doesn't hate her because... she understands. Even as she knows she

could never receive the love that Lucinë does, she understands.

She is a beautiful, perfect queen. An amazing mother, too, as the child grows up with all the love and attention they need. (the Opalite Heir. Vindën; the fortuned son.

Opalite Crown Prince, son of Pliaryë of the Naamicëi royal lineage. Ignorant of his true lineage as by royal design.) Of course, Maëve has... such a tragic, sad life :'c

to make matters worse, Pliaryë dies- but despite the grief she survives in order to support that child that is not her own as he takes the throne in his father's place.

All the way to the bitter end, I'm sure... I'm thinking she makes the ultimate sacrifice to protect the new king at some point down the line.

But ahem. It should be mentioned that Vindën had a brother (for Orron, fraternal twins are rather commonplace alongside single children.) He was taken with

Lucinc to the Pinfire kingdom. (Përditus; a mother's only solace. Secret bastardson of the Opalite King Pliaryë, born of a forbidden love.)

At this point in time, I'd imagine the tensions between the two kingdoms (Opalite and Pinfire) have nearly escalated into a full-on war.

Miyohë is as distant as ever... However, one day he happens upon a benevolent, kind and beautiful young Orron lady- and quite honestly, promptly falls in love. Enter

Cerëus. While Miyohë had been silent and distant to others, he beings to find happiness and peace for once in his tumultuous life as she teaches him how to live...

He beings to open up. The one, true light in his life that he loves so, so dearly. He truly wishes to make her his Queen, and truly means it- but then she is stricken ill,

a terrible sickness that no doctor could cure. He searches far and wide, seeking out the most capable- and yet nothing could be done. he is grief-stricken. While he had

been on an all-encompassing conquest, she had made him see that there was more to life than this single-minded, bloodthirsty pursuit. He had begun, and he had

even considered putting aside all of this to return to Naamah and Voicëi. Aëlla's poisonous words began to seep out of his being.

He watched over Cerëus, doing anything, everything in his power in desperate attempts to save her. And it's a miracle, as her illness gets better slowly day by day.

But then, suddenly, just as it seemed as though she had been cured, she dies. And a part of Miyohë shatters and dies with her. The love of his life is gone, and there

is no foe he could have struck down to save her.

He does not allow himself to grieve, but already he has changed- this time, however, for the worse. A bitter and cold soul, he has been hurt by love too much and will

never do so again. He sees there is nothing else for him to look for, as the good in life went with her when she died. He feels, too, as if maybe- just maybe, if he had

been stronger, faster, smarter... She might not have died. So he becomes ruthlessly efficient, buries himself in his work. His cunning and strategy is next to none,

for he is formidable in every aspect. His ambition is fueled by more now, and Aëlla's voice is loud and clear in his mind.

Which was all according to Aëlla's plan... She has orchestrated this- some divine intervention, a curse perhaps, for Cerëus had been an obstacle. All for the better,

since Aëlla, too, could frame her sisters as the cause of Cerëus' death. Miyohë had turned from her, strayed from the path- and this was what Aëlla needed to do to

get him back. There are no obstacles now- Miyohë's ears are only hers. Or at least I think something like that was what went down ahahah (The Beauty of Cerëus,

Miyohë's Devestation)

And uh. I think that's all I thought up to tbh. Everything else is just some character ideas PFFFT nothing terribly in-depth. Somewhere along the line the Fire Opal

kingdom pops up, which the kingdom the unnamed Orron that's the third picture dancing with the sparks is from x'D um... yeah.
