A Regular Decorated Emergency

Alice

(I also did not expect the photo to be this big and I don't know how to change it)

Race:

Half-Siren
Appearance:

Long black hair, pale skin, bright blue eyes. 5'9", slender build, black feathered wings. Usually wearing a basic maiden dress and a black hooded riding cloak, and a bandage wrapped around her head to cover her right eye.

Personality:

Cold, distant, and untrusting…initially. She fears persecution for what she is, and because of this she tends to avoid humans until she needs to feed (and will sometimes nearly starve herself to death). She can, however, be fiercely loyal and harbors a vehement belief in justice. Despite a cool, even expressionless exterior, she is often dealing with a deep-seated anxiety and self-hatred over the duality of her existence—partly human, partly feeding on humans for survival; part hunter, part hunted.

Powers/Abilities:

  • Allure - The trademark Siren ability--singing to attract human prey.
  • Telekinesis - Exactly as it sounds; moving objects without touching them.
  • Mind Reading/Control - When looking into a target's eyes--usually a human's--Alice can read their thoughts and, with a little extra concentration, control their body movements, "like a puppet."
  • Flying - She can fly short distances. Really more of an exaggerated jump.

Weaknesses:

  • There is a chance that non-humans can resist the "Allure" ability.
  • Telekinesis is limited to what she could move with her own physical strength, although she is much stronger than her thin frame would suggest.
  • Mind reading and control require Alice to be looking at her target with both eyes.
  • She can't control her powers very well (thus why she covers one eye, to prevent accidentally tapping into them) and they are so taxing on the human part of her mind that using them continuously will slowly drain her sanity.
  • She doesn't exactly have the hollow bones of a bird, so her flight abilities are very limited.
  • Having one eye covered at all times leaves her with little to no depth perception.

Strengths:

  • No human can resist her magic--at least, none that she's met.
  • Can understand and speak some Elvish.
  • Doesn't have to get close to an enemy to do damage.
  • Flying makes for an easy dodging move (and makes jumping from great heights somewhat less dangerous)
  • Who needs charisma when you can just literally make them do what you want?

(The armor he wears in the picture is not relevant to the armor he wears in the appearance. The photo is only to show how he looks)

Race: Elf

Appearance:

Standing at 6'5" and wearing heavy plate armor colored in black and red, with a helm to go with it. The helmet did not show his face, for only he could see the people past his face plate. He wielded two swords, small enough to hold them in both hands yet big enough to do some good damage and cut wounds very easily. Underneath his helm was long black hair, how he tied it up all into that tight little compact helmet of his was a mystery to everyone. Black raven locks flowed down the sides of his shoulders while the rest of his hair was tied up in a firm ponytail. His facial features were good enough to charm most of the women across the land, sporting a long scar that stretched from his right eye down to his lower cheek, how he got it was a long story. His eyes were a frosty blue, eyes glowing with magic but it was easy to tell where his eyes were hidden past that glowing blue. When he smiled his pearly whites would glimmer, his ears long and pointy that flickered with the wind. His skin was nicely toned, he was muscular for sure, not a doubt he wasn't. Underneath all the plate he wore nothing but his undergarments, and his skin was painted by war. Scars and all drew over his body, some old some new. They all told a story, their own little reference to a battle of greatness.

Personality:

Vall loves his booze, he'd stop by to the nearest city to have a couple drinks... Or three.. Or an entire keg. He wasn't an alcoholic, in fact he didn't get as drunk as easily as the rest of the people did. He would drink just to drink! His personality is tough and ruthless, however he does have a soft side to him. His closest of friends know that he's an easy pushover, he acts dorkishly and likes to draw attention to himself in big crowds. He'll have a good laugh and a drink with anyone if they wanted to. He loves to bug his friends whenever he's bored, quite the needy fella he is also. He loved to explore the vast land, but didn't like going on an adventure all alone. He'd spend most of his time alone unless he's on the battlefield with his fellow soldiers. With many people and all their goodness, Vall has his flaws. He can be one to jump to conclusions all too quickly, taking the own situation into his hands and even messing it up sometimes. He's a hothead, and doesn't take trash talk to him or anyone close to him lightly. But, after all, everyone knows he's a total pushover in the end. Right?

Powers/strengths:

- All his powers didn't just come from his swords, he's a frost knight, able to wield the powers of frost magic and use it to chill or even freeze his foes.

- His stamina is great, able to outrun many people with his swiftness.

- Able to understand common (english) and speak Elven language.

- Warrior instincts help him in battle, using his bloodlust to his advantages.

Flaws/Weaknesses:

- His temper can sometimes hold him and others back from getting things done.

- Has a bloodthirst that cannot be satisfied, but able to keep it under control while in cities and with partners.

- Runic power is used to charge his magic, he carries runes with him in his bags to charge that power, if he runs out of runes his frost magic is rendered useless.

- Gullible at times, able to trick very easily if he's caught off guard.
