Vudukudu
Farseer to the Warsong Clan
The holo-screen fades to black for a moment, then bursts back to life. The familiar insignia of Memento Inc. appears, a white square circumscribed by an orange circle. It shimmers idly for a few seconds, then fades out. The whole screen goes white, and a woman appears. She's elderly, perhaps in her late sixties, but is still brimming with life. She smiles softly, then takes a step closer to the camera.
"My name is Sheila. Four years ago, my husband passed away--"
Her speech is cut off abruptly, as she fades away and is replaced by a younger Arab woman. She waves gingerly at the camera, then starts to speak. "My husband and I were married three years ago--"
Again, the speech is cut off and the woman fades away. She is replaced by a man in his mid-forties, his hairline just starting to creep backwards. He's dressed in a military uniform, almost definitely a veteran. "The war was rough, but I would never choose to forget it--"
Sheila appears once again, nodding slightly at the camera once. "With my Memento implant--"
Sheila remains, but the younger woman's voice begins to play over hers. "I will never forget the --"
The owner of the second voice appears where Sheila was standing, but the voice rotates to the veteran. "Things we sacrificed, the bravery of my fellow men--"
The figure fades out, for the last and final time. The original Memento insignia appears on screen, with a brief slogan written underneath it.
Memento. For the things worth remembering.
