Powers and Downfalls:

Powers - Can cause anyone to feel an immense sense of terror with simply a little focus. This terror generally results in the person completely freezing in their tracks, unable to make themselves move and barely able to breathe.

Can cause a person to feel such an intense feeling of dread that it can drive them to do things they’d never think to do in order to end the feeling (hurting themselves or others or even, in some more severe cases, attempting suicide)

Is much more powerful when around others who are afraid of something, kind of feeding off that energy.

Downfalls - When he causes someone to have these feelings, the feelings are also being given to him. They intensify in his own mind as he makes them stronger in the mind of the person he is affecting...but he’s begun to grow immune to it…

His powers are mostly affected by his moods, so his control over them is affected by his control over how he’s feeling...sadly he...has like 0 control over that-

Character: Finneas is an incredibly angry person, and he has next to no control over it. He’s not necessarily violent...but he loses control of his powers when his anger gets too strong. He holds grudges like a motherfucker, and has so much trouble getting past them that it's...next to impossible. He is however, very caring once he is close to a person...it's just difficult to get close to him the majority of the time. He's sarcastic, and a bit rude, and isn't going to avoid saying something simply to avoid hurting someone else. Kinda wanna write more but it's 4:40 am-


Occupation: Works at the library in his town during the school year


Hobbies/Interests:


Life: Deimos met his mother when she was only 19 when she was working at a strip club. She became pregnant with Finneas soon after they met, and Deimos vanished almost immediately after. Before he was born she’d changed her occupation, getting a job working at as a secretary. As Finneas grew up things weren’t great financially, and his mother struggled to have enough money to raise him. He didn’t have much but he was very happy despite this.

When he was 11 he was attacked by a monster while at home with his mother. A satyr, who had followed him around for a short while, was sort of on standby, and came to his rescue...but was sadly unable to save his mother from the attack. He didn’t give Finneas any time to wait or comprehend what had happened, dragging him to camp as fast as possible and to the infirmary to have his wounds tended to.

Upon learning everything about the world he’d been thrust into….he grew angry. Angry that his father did nothing to keep his mom protected...angrier than before that she’d just been abandoned by him to raise a son. He wanted his mother back...and couldn’t handle her being gone. This anger manifested with his powers going wild. He had no control over them, and he left many of the campers around feeling as if they were going insane. This was when he was claimed.

From then on he has mostly stayed in his cabin, avoiding being around other campers, thanks to the reputation he’d built from that incident.
