  Appearance
  Carmine has long dark brown hair that is often hidden under her signature red hood. She has hazel eyes and an oval face. She is 5’6” with a slim build. Her slender frame hides how toned she is. Carmine is never without her red cape.
  
  Personality
  Carmine is kind, caring, intelligent, and sometimes a little bit too business. Her inclination to be serious can make her seem aloof, but she truly wishes to care and see others succeed. Carmine does have a playful side, but it won’t readily be exposed, especially depending on the situation. When she feels comfortable or safe enough, she will smile and laugh, but don’t ever expect to see a smile during a fight. Carmine is passionate and determined, often pushing herself too much to be better, stronger, and faster.
  
  Fear used to drive her, but after the events that led her to receiving her Dolly, she is an entirely different person. Fear may clutch her, but she won’t let it stop her. Carmine prefers to think situations through before acting, but she is quick on her feet – ready to jump into the fray at a moments notice. She is skilled with a variety of things, but one will never hear her boast.

  Carmine’s Dolly is a robotic humanoid wolf.
  
  Dolly Ability
  Carmine’s Dolly is able to take on the form of a wolf, utilizing sense of smell, hearing, teeth etc. and it call also be ridden. However, it often remains on two legs, fighting with dual claw blades. This Dolly is skilled with nearly all kind of weapon and hand-to-hand combat. It is faster in wolf form and is built with heavy duty armour that can take many hits.
  
  Dolly Sentience
  Carmine’s desire for relationships has altered her Dolly, making it sentient. It is able to speak with her and always provides her with logical solutions – even if it means sacrificing one to save the many. Carmine is far more emotional than she allows others to see, which is where this Dolly comes into play. It is able to help her see reason and converse with her about strategic options, sadness, anger, etc.

  Backstory
  The day she received her Dolly is burned into her memory for many reasons. Not only was it a time of salvation, but also of pain. Carmine still remembers tasting blood in her mouth as she ran from the hulking monster behind her. She wasn’t alone when she began her journey. As she fled, she was with Blaze – he was the person she could trust and depend on more than anyone else. They’d been together for as long as either of them could remember.
  
  The sound of swaying trees and crunching leaves filled her ears as they ran. Blaze was slightly behind her; he was always just a bit slower. Suddenly, a scream filled the air and Carmine turned around to see Blaze on the ground in a pool of red. The creature knocked him over, taking his right arm. He tried pushing himself up.
  
  Blaze looked at Carmine, his brown eyes glossy as he whispered, “Help me.” The beast howled, its body moving just behind the trees. Blaze tried standing, his body swaying before colliding with the ground.
  
  It called again, this time Carmine saw its claws reach out as it tried squeezing between the trees. Fear seized her. Her legs stiff. Her heart pounded. Her mind cloudy as the sound of her beating heart consumed her. Blaze called to her again, his words lost against the sound of the monster, but she knew what he said. She saw the pain in his eyes, the will to live pushing him forward as he tried to stand once more.
  
  Carmine turned and ran.
  
  A scream filled the air, the pain in her chest made her stumble. Tears blurred her vision as she darted between the trees. Up ahead she saw the caves they never should have left.
  
  Pain shot up her and she fell, twigs and stones poking her face and jabbing her side. Carmine shrieked, her eyes landing on her leg. The rest of it sat several yards away.
  
  All at once the forest vanished and a man appeared. His deep wrinkles and white hair reminded her of her father. The slight smile on his face dulled the pain, but just barely. She saw his mouth moving but she couldn’t make out the words. Everything darkened and she grew tired, keeping her eyes open felt impossible.
  
  The man moved closer to her face. “You want to live?” He asked, his voice distant. She groaned, thinking of Blaze before nodding.
  
  Her eyes slid closed, and she felt a pinch before opening them again.
  
  “Most scream,” he said patting her shoulder.
  
  Carmine sat up, the pain a dull throb that was becoming a mere memory the longer she stared at the room before her. Dolls looked back from their hooks along the walls. Some were small, others large. Some were made of metal and others looked like flesh.
  
  On the far wall rested a wolf, the metal glinting in the low light. She became the wolf that hid among the flock. She killed him.
