Dungeons & Dragons Doctor Who, anyone?
Essentially, the idea I have for this is a Time Lord or Lady and their companions exploring the universe. They'll all be original characters in an alternate universe, facing the trials and tribulations of anyone brave enough to take a trip in the TARDIS. This will be an open-world sandbox where not much if anything at all is off limits and run like a D&D campaign with many but not all outcomes determined by dice. The Time Lord/Lady will be the DM and with every regeneration another roleplayer will take hold of the mantle.
