History: Sugiru was born in Shibuya, Tokyo to a Japanese Father who was an accountant and an American Mother who was her husband's secretary, they both lead very busy lives, Sugiru rarely getting to see them, living with his Aunt Carol in New York. When he was 15, he was having a month's holiday in Northern Japan with his parents when they were robbed and murdered by a notorious psychopath whilst staying in a holiday house they owned in Sapporo, Sugiru attempted to stop the man, who proceeded to rape him before attempting to drown him in the bath. He was adopted by his Aunt, and was very lonely at school, having had no friends due to his PTSD giving him constant flashbacks as well as his bad English. He left school at 16, and got a job in the Japanese Embassy in New York as a Kitchen Porter, and has been working there for 3 years.

Additional Information: History with the Doctor: He first encountered the Doctor in the embassy whilst he was working, the Doctor having infiltrated the embassy as a waiter in an attempt to learn what was going on as the TARDIS had detected advanced alien technology there, Sugiru helped him after it was discovered that almost everyone in the Japanese Embassy to America had been killed by the Slitheen who attempted to initiate their first plan that involved turning the Earth into radioactive fuel for starships by causing World War 3, which would involve lot of nuclear weapons. Sugiru helped The Doctor by filling the fire sprinkler tank with vinegar instead of water, before the Doctor made them take off their suits and started a fire, setting off the system. Tired of life on Earth and wanting to see the stars, the Doctor offered Sugiru to become his new companion, which he accepted.

Bio: Born to a respected family on Gallifrey who were members of the high council. His parents sent him to the academy where he looked into the untempered schism and felt fear, later on he learned of The Doctor and how he stole a TARDIS and sailed off to see the universe, so Travinian did the same thing and is currently on earth trying to fix up his TARDIS.
