Doctor Who ((with amybri18))

"Oh," he replied. So, life on Earth wasn't that amazing? Sure, that made sense... Traveling through time and space must have been better than living on the same planet. Then again, this was normal for the Doctor, he did this 24 7

"What about you?" Ciera asked with a grin. "How was life before you found me on that hill by chance?" Ciera inquired.

"Same as it is now," he replied. "I've always been a timelord, and always had a companion."

"What happened to your last companion?" Ciera said as she stopped to look at one particularly interesting cyberman.

"She, uh, blinked at the worst of times..." he muttered. The Doctor knew she wouldn't get it, but this had happened many times before.

"Um right. That makes since. " Ciera said with an eyebrow raised as she reached out and poked the cybermen.

The Doctor sighed and walked over to a Cyberman. He pulled out his screwdriver, and pointed it towards the robot.

Ciera backed up as the doctor pointed his screwdriver at the robot so she wasn't standing in his way. "So then why me? I mean you could have chosen anyone to come with you, to explore time and space and see the universe, so why me?"

"Well, you seemed curious about what I was up to," he replied, pressing a bunch of buttons on his gadget.

"Right." Ciera nodded with a grin as she watched him. "Showing someone all of time and space because they're curious. Ever hear the phrase curiosity killed the cat?" She laughed.

The Doctor smiled as she laughed, but still got on with the work he was doing. After pressing a few more buttons, he stopped.

Ciera watched as he pressed another few buttons and stopped. "Find anything?" She asked as she walked back to him.

He nodded. "These Cybermen aren't connected to any system," he stated. The Doctor looked Ciera in the eye. "They control themselves."

"Well. That complicates things a bit." Ciera remarked, looking around again. Now that they knew the cybermen control themselves. how could they be certain the machines wouldn't just spring to life?

"Probably because the other ones already have everything covered out there." Ciera said with a frown as she looked up, wondering how far down they were now.

The Doctor nodded. "Perhaps, but I think they are controlled by a person," he replied. "If they were able to control themselves, they wouldn't all be doing to same thing," he added.

((Sorry, I think I'm going to have to drop out of this. I just have too many going at the moment. And I apologize for taking so long on letting you know, I've been mulling it around in my head))
