Doctor Who (Reserved)

Ciera stood back and watched as the Doctor flitted around the TARDIS console flicking switches, pulling levers, and pressing buttons. She reached backwards quickly as the TARDIS lurched suddenly, as it usually did when rocketing through the time vortex. Where they were going, she had no idea. There was usually no way to predict where the TARDIS would take them...or when. She fell onto her knees with one arm slung around the railing as it lurched violently again. She stood up unsteadily and braced herself against the metal rail. "CAN'T YOU DO ANYTHING TO MAKE IT A LITTLE LESS BUMPY?" She yelled over the loud sound of the TARDIS's engine.

She turned around and found the single seat that adorned the main control room of the TARDIS and half-sat, half-threw herself into as the TARDIS lurched again. She grasped the sides of the seat tightly and prepared herself for a bumpy ride.

In fact the Doctor didn't exactly know where they would go. It was always the same; pulling some levers, pressing buttons here, and pulling another lever there, and the whole TARDIS was on her way. Together with her participants. And every single time, the brunet's heart's sparked, anticipation tingling within his fingers, and a bright grin on his face. And even at the comment of his current companion, he just laughed loudly, he himself keeping a tight grip at one of the 'safety' handles of the TARDIS' console.

"Where's all the
fun without that?" he called back, as he switched another lever. It was a little hard to keep his strong grip at the handle, and still switch buttons and pull levers without pulling them off, but it was nonetheless exciting as well. He briefly turned his gaze towards the brunette, giggling like a little child at her annoyed expression.

"C'mon, where's the
anticipation? Who knows where we'll land! Perhaps in Victorian London? Or will we meet a T-Rex? Maybe we'll shake the future President's hand!" He was indeed way too excited about this...

Ciera grinned at his child-like demeanor. "I think my anticipation was thrown against the wall half an hour ago!" Che yelled over the ever increasing roar of the TARDIS's engines.

Suddenly, the whole thing halted, and, judging by the sound she was making, she was materializing. Ciera looked up, almost surprised that the jarring motion had stopped. She slowly stood and walked over to the console with the Doctor and gazed at him. "Hopefully we won't meet a T-rex." Before turning and walking toward the door. Reaching a hand out to open it, she wondered what they would find this time.

The Doctor's grin only widened upon seeing the other showing just as much joy as he had. And as soon as the TARDIS stopped, the usual humming of her materialising echoing through the cockpit, another childish giggle passed his throat. Immediately, he let go of the console, and basically danced over to the TARDIS' exit doors, only waiting for the humming to stop. And as soon as it did, he pulled them open with a harsh tug, the mild night-air of a late Victorian English night flooding the ship. He squeaked with joy, as he stepped outside, spinning around himself once; eyes basically soaking up all and everything he could see.

"Look at that!" he breathed once he stopped, glancing back at the TARDIS' entry, where he hoped Ciera to see. "No T-Rex, but still good, don't you agree?"

Ciera poked her head out of the pair of doors just slightly. "No T-rex?" She echoed. "Well then, let's go explore, shall we?" She skipped out of the TARDIS and turned with a goofy look on her face. "What are you waiting for?" She asked.

She glanced around, feeling the warm night air on her skin, the breeze causing her hair to float around her head in a halo of unruly curls. She looked up at the stars, wondering if all of her friends from her home were looking at the same stars right now. She turned her gaze back to the door of the TARDIS where the Doctor still stood.
