Help div boxes, images, and private workshop?

hello! i have a pretty simple question.

when i'm testing coding in my private workshop, i tend to change out the images i'm using in my div coding a lot, so it's easier for me to use the images where i find them instead of going to the trouble of uploading them to the site before i'm sure i'm going to keep them.

however, i want to make sure i'm not doing anything wrong; is it okay for me to use non-https images within the confines of my workshop, or is that still considered against the rules? since i'm the only one who can see my threads, i figured it'd be ok, but i wanted to be sure before i got myself in any trouble.

Hello Rustic Rustic

While the Private Workshop is a bit more lenient on certain things, it's still encouraged to use HTTPS for security reasons as HTTPS basically encrypts the transmission of your data. So, no HTTPS = broken security lock = your data is basically plain text.

You can very easily change HTTP to HTTPS by just adding the S onto the URL. Now, doing this doesn't automatically mean that it's 100% secure ( there are things like SSL certificates and such ) and explaining the reason for this is something I'm not really the best to explain.

The all-knowing The Dark Wizard The Dark Wizard might need to take a peek at this query.
