Fair point. It's just that ones I've come across while trawling are hella aggressive as people. I don't mind the occasional tap on the shoulder, just not someone yelling in my ear every day.

Though there's also the other end of the scale I've seen, where they fall silent and make the mod team pick up the slack.

And here, I won't be pinged about useless shit like server partnerships that don't seem to go anywhere, admins bellowing in the announcement channel demanding activity or else, players who don't communicate and get offended when their character loses...

I've never seen these issues with OOC's being on discord, IC Rp threads don't sound all that wise to do on discord though. Personally, I prefer discord ooc's, as threads like these become filled with pointless chatter (like right now), that buries important information, at least with a discord ooc it can be contained, anyways I'll try making my mind up on this come next week, though seems only 6 out of 15 have replied so far.
