Help Difficulty Editing

Hi. I am salvaging a code from another site that uses HTML, which I had little trouble converting to BBCode. I am a very amateur coder in both HTML and BBCode, and I am adjusting to what is supported on RpN. I know these codes are fundamentally simple, but they should come out looking very sharp.

This code was originally for a thread log I had on that website, but I am putting them to use to organize interest checks and OOC threads. I had no difficulty putting them together in HTML.

I had started working on these variations earlier today, as a reply to my coding thread in my workshop. I posted them, and continued working through the editor. I clicked the wrench icon to see the raw code, and had no issues.

However, when I came back to thread to continue later this evening, I had trouble with the editor. Every time I would save my changes, aspects of the code were changed that I had not modified. I realized this was because some functions duplicated, or code that I removed previously had appeared. This is destroying hours of work I have poured into these pieces; it is not necessarily difficult, but it is a very time-consuming process to look for what changed in my code, fix it, save my changes, only to have something else distort.

My Internet connection has been spotty the last few hours, and I have experienced this before on other websites with their editors. I am not sure how to fix it, other than copying what I have done to my clipboard and waiting a few hours before opening the site again. I noticed this site has a draft feature, but I am not sure if it is the cause of this bug. I am also on mobile, (a Samsung tablet) and haven't seen what it looks like from a desktop, so it could be I am messing with mobile - intolerant coding.

Could someone please take a look at these codes and tell me how to fix them? The div box in the first one seems to have separated into two, with a very fine line after "TEXT". The second one seems to completely ignore the padding and I can't separate the blue text from the white. Any help is appreciated.

tl;dr: I'm on a tablet and the editor is compromising my code.

Please inquire through PM if you have any insight.

Have you turned RTE off in your settings? This sounds a lot like what happens if you either aren't closing tags in the right order or have RTE on.
