After Emily got back to reality, she was wondering whether her telling Vinnie she’s in love with Sue was real or not. Maybe it was, judging by Lavinia’s words. It sounded like they did talk about Sue, but what exactly? Emily probably missed essential parts of what Lavinia told her and of their conversation as a whole. Which part of it was real? Which wasn’t? Emily didn’t know, but she knew one thing: she had to talk to Sue. But how could she, after this terrible fight they had? Will Sue even listen to her?
Emily made her way to the Evergreens, where Sue probably was. She knocked on the door and waited for someone to open it - hopefully not Austin. Right now the only person the brunette wanted to see was her lover - no one else and definitely not her so called husband. But all of that hope died the moment a drunken Austin opened the door with a glass in his hands.
“Hey, Austin.” - Emily said, trying not to sound annoyed at him. After all, he did nothing wrong… today. “Is Sue here?”
