Dice Roleplaying, Help me Understand!

HELP!

So I really want to get into Dice Roleplaying (I'll be calling it DR in this post), but even with my experience with almost all of this website, I still have no idea how DR works on this website.


So I am asking for your help, here are my questions:

• What can things can I do with DR? (Ex: Something except D&D style roleplays.)
  
• How does it work on this site? (Ex: How you role dice, basically how it all works.)
  
• Is there a certain criteria you have to become a thread poster for DR? (Ex: I honestly don't know examples, help me!)
  

If you don't want to answer my questions, just give me a rundown of the entire thing. I want to know so I can participate and hopefully make my own Dice roleplays in the future!
