The extent to which a man reached was dependent upon how desperate he was. Some sacrificed a piece of them to the Earth they had been birthed from. Others sacrifice themselves to he who resides below.

Danalia Jones. I can’t resist a good mage, and it could either be an apostate tracked by bounty hunters, a sorceress who tries to save the land from an eldritch abomination or a witch who is litteraly souless, but powerful. All these options are fun.
