Greetings and salutations! You may call me Kura. Born in '89, for those concerned about age.
I am a very interested Detroit: Become Human fan looking for a friend or partner to write with. This is something I would like to have between us long-term and privately. I love bringing random thoughts and seeing where it could go, or running off of canon scenes and changing them somehow with some of our flavour. I like it when my partner comes to me about ideas too, or we keep building off of each other. One-shots are okay too, and so is 18+, just so that's out of the way.
Narrative prose and strong characterization is preferred most of all. Please have a decent grasp of literacy. Give me paragraphs, as much as you want to write. Please do not send just two paragraphs with little to nothing going on in them; that makes it difficult to respond to; and please do not worry about speed. There is absolutely no rush, or a reason to rush. I try to match what I am given, and I won't jump down your throat over a few dumb errors.
Communication between us is really important, too. I am comfortable writing controversial and dark topics, but I don't want YOU to be uncomfortable. If something is wrong, unclear, not grabbing, or upsets you PLEASE speak up. All I ask is you not be rude about it.
Now:
I am a Connor looking for a Hank Anderson to do the romance thing. Although them having a familial relationship is also a soft-spot too, romance is what I'm primarily looking for, so perhaps that father-son bond can grow into something greater as the course of our stories go.
I am also a Ralph looking for a Rupert, or just anyone interested in working with a Ralph. This doesn't have to be a romantic thing, but I'm open. Mostly, I like to think they knew each other before deviancy, that it's possible Ralph is the android Rupert saw assaulted, they wanted to find each other after deviancy, and the dead bird found with Ralph is actually a bird he was attempting to nurse until reuniting with Rupert, who could better care for it.
I'm also really interested in maybe doing a "rewrite" of canon moments, where it's Ralph instead of Luther with Kara and Alice, and Simon instead of North as a romantic option for Markus.
If you have an original character, we can certainly bring them into the mix. I don't normally write original characters myself, but don't mind when others want them. I feel confident most people here know the general ~Mary Sue~ / ~Gary Stu~ talk.
None of these ideas have to be intertwined together, however maybe they can be for the sake of making it close to canon. Please don't feel shy about being up splitting the cast between us!! We can talk about who we think we could do for each other.
Maybe we have other things in common, too! Let's find out!
