Phoenix was now on the bus to his new orphanage he was recently in one, but because of he kept running away they didn't want him anymore so he was in the process of being transferred to a new one.

The bus pulled up to the orphanage. He got up from his seat and walked off the bus throwing his bag over his shoulder he stopped and looked up at the building. He walked up to the house and knocked on the door. He was waiting for some old lady to open the door with disgust on her face and start yelling at him to do chores. That is how it always was at every new orphanage

Leona smiled as she helped some of the smaller children with their chores when she heard the knock at the door. She didn't remember the mistress saying there were parents coming to look today, so it was a little confusing to hear the sound at the door. She sighed, "I'll be right back, guys. Keep at it." she said with a reassuring grin, and moved to the door.

She opened it, only to come face to face with a person's chest. She tilted her head up slightly, finding the person to be a man, or boy, she wasn't sure. "Hello. Can I help you?" she asked lightly, several other small faces peering from around her legs and sides to see who was at the door.

Phoniex looked down at the girl and and the little kids at her legs and feet he then stepped back and looked at the windows and saw a few eyes until they jumped back so they couldn't been seen anymore.

"Yeah I am Phoniex I am the new transfer are you the person in charge here or something."

He looked down at one of the little kids that walked out of the door a little bite and smiled at him.

Leona shook her head, "Oh no. Ms. Rayburn will be back. She's gone to the supermarket to pick up some food. We're just cleaning up a bit before she's due back." she said lightly, and ushered the children back. "Come on in, Phoenix. I'm Leona." she said lightly, and glanced toward the main room where the little ones were scattering. "Come on guys. All we have left is to vacuum in here and we're all done. Come meet Phoenix, and then let's finish up so we can go outside and play when Miss Rayburn gets back." she laughed lightly.

Phoenix walked in and groaned thinking to him self of course the kids doing all the chores. He walked into the room where everyone ran into and looked at all the little kids and then back to leona.

He set his bag down by his feet and stood there unsure of what he is suppose to do. He was waiting for Leona to be rude and yell at him to go and do something.

Leona smiled, "Alright, you guys got this? I'm gonna show Phoenix around. I'll come back and check on you in a minute." she said as the kids gathered around to start shifting the small pieces of furniture while another two manned the vacuums. She turned to Phoenix, and grinned, "This way. Boys stay on the right side of the building, us girls are on the left. We each have our bathrooms in our designated areas. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at six, one, and seven in that order." she explained smiling, "If you happen to miss a meal for study, or parent interviews, a plate is always saved. So try not to miss for no reason, otherwise there won't be any." she said brightly as she grabbed Phoenix's bag and carried it for him toward the boys' section of the dormitory. "I'm the oldest here, unless you're older than me, but either way, Miss Rayburn leaves me in charge when she has to step out. I'm going to assume you'll be helping me with the kids when she's out. Don't worry. Miss Rayburn is really nice." she smiled. "Do you have any questions?" she asked warmly as they entered into the large room full of bunk beds and Leona lead Phoenix to the far corner. "These are all empty. You can pick any you like." she said, motioning to a group of bunk beds.

Phoenix walked behind and when they entered the room he threw his bag on the top bunk. He looked around a little bit.

"No I don't have questions"

He was surprised to here that you have to eat at certain times. He knew he wouldn't like it here and sharing a room with all the little kids is just one reason why.

"Don't get your hopes up with having someone your age here, I will be gone soon so don't get attached." He scoffed.

He sat on the bunk below the one he claimed and pulled out his I pod putting his headphones in and turned on his music.

"Ok thanks you can leave now." He told her before turning up the music
