Ten Thousand Club
You are a guardian, a warrior of the light, chosen by the Traveler to defend the remnants of humanity from the darkness. The guardians have always been at war with various alien races, seeking the Travler to find it and wipe it's light from our universe. These races include the Fallen
The fallen were once a very noble race. They were once visited by the Traveler, and some say had guardians just like us. One day, the Traveler left the Fallen, and a catastrophic event known as the "whirlwind" occurred in Fallen history and wiped out a lot of the race, leaving their species in ruin. The surviving houses, the House of Devils, Kings, Winter, Wolves, and Exile now live as pirates in our galaxy, pillaging our lost planets, and hunting down the Traveler with a fiery vengeance. The Fallen race consist of different ranks. The dregs (as seen above) are the lowest rank. The had their lower arms docked as a humiliation act, and are now used as canon fodder. The Vandals are the middle rank, being much better warriors then the lowly dregs. They strives to becomes captains, and will do anything for their Kell. Captains are very respected and feared. They are deadly foes, and command squads of fallen soldiers in battle. They have a wide arsenal of dangerous weapons, and should not be taken lightly.
the Hive
The Hive are a very evil race. They were born out of the darkness, and their sole purpose is to wipe all light from the universe. Plagued with violence and hate, they show no remorse. The hive worship a God-King name Oryx, and his son Crota. Crota however was slain by a fire team of guardians in his own realm, a wonderful victory for the guardians. The Hvie ranks consist of Thrall, Acolytes, Knights, Wizards, and ogres.
the Vex,
The Vex are a very mysterious race. Not much is known about them, as well as their intentions. They are speculated to be a time traveling species that has been in our universe LONG before the humans have. They have many strange places the reside in such as the Vault of Glass on Venus, and the Black Garden on Mars. The Vex ranks consist of Harpies, Goblins, Hobgoblins, Minotaurs, and Hydras. They worship an unknown entity known as the Black Heart, which was also slain by Guardians.
and the Cabal.
The Cabal are a very warlike species. They seem to have a large Empire somewhere in the universe, and have come to our galaxy to colonize and take over, though some believe they are running from something. The cabal may be one of the most advanced races, having set up many bases on Mars and its surrounding moons. They use large tanks in battle, and can take out guardians easily. The ranks of Cabal are as follows; Legionaries, Psions, Phalanx's, Centurions and Collossus's. They are very large in size, and have a large arsenal to go with it.
But now a new threat has risen. Oryx, the Hive God has come to our system to avenge the death of his son Crota, and with him he brought an army of Taken. The Taken are enemies we know and love that have been ripped from our world, twisted and infused with darkness, and sent back as his minions.
This new threat must be taken out immediately, and this is where you come in. Your job is to infiltrate Oryx's fortress, the Deadnaught, and take the King out. Sounds easy enough, right?
