Because P&P often involves counter-rolls, or cumulative rolls, it seems like a good idea to run a separate thread for all that rolling. We'll be using RPNation's dice roller.

Roll Perception.

Edit: Remember, you have to post, and then edit the post to access rolling ... I think, unless someone knows another way. Even rolls are successes, odds are fails, sixes are a success and another roll. I'm just fiddling around with it to see if it wipes out previous rolls when you add dice. Currently I have 2/6/4 ... yay me.

Hourray, so if you click "throw another dice," It'll just add another D6, which is perfect ... but I failed on the last one. That makes 3 successes.

Oof! How unlucky! Shame on me for having highest perception!

That was a test. Everyone passed. On a somewhat related note

Sara Sidereal Sara Sidereal from the forest east of town, you are unable to see the lights as police and private security vehicles race toward the utility district, but are able to hear the chorus of sirens as they scream to life.

Magnum Magnum You hear the police vehicles before you see them, tires spinning, engines reving, sirens blaring. Two NGPD vehicles ripping through an intersection a few blocks ahead.

Dreamtique Dreamtique You haven't even made it to the store when a small army of police and private security vehicles shoot past. A few blocks down the street they take a hard left into the parking lot of the BC Hydro Power Station.

Neon Valkyrie Neon Valkyrie ... Well, I saw everything, so hah.

This roll represents the information Andromeda is able to collect, the professor's ability to analyze it, and the effectiveness of the plan he finally decides upon. Once GM determines results (or decides a different roll is required / a roll is not required), will edit the post accordingly.

Ooh, nice roll.
Your results are in the spoiler, and for YOUR EYES ONLY!
Pulling up encrypted civic planning documents, Andromeda is able to locate maintenance tunnels that run under the streets. The nearest entrance is a manhole halfway up the block, and then another two blocks straight ahead under the street. The entrance is at the edge of the parking lot, suggesting the building's lower levels are larger than those above ground. From the look of it there is a security checkpoint that will allow you access to the main facility.

P Practically Philistine The doors between Bray and his goal are thick, steel double doors set into a steel frame on the front of a 30ftx30ft concrete structure next to the raised dais. Beside the doors, set into the wall, is a small metal box with a 3x4 grid of green lights, each bearing a number. Above the lights, there is a 4 inch square of what looks like black glass. There is a sound behind you, someone clearing their throat.

Dreamtique Dreamtique As a house rule, levitation will allow you to go more than just up and down, but if you want to move faster than like ... a segway, you'll have to use experience to remove the levitation flaw. I'm going to keep your 3 successes on perception though. >Ahem< The Phantom's concentration yields results, and as the walls melt away before his x-ray vision, he's able to spot 22 individuals on this floor. 9 of them are bound, and being held in one room just 50 feet down the hall, while the rest have taken up positions around the large central generator chamber. A glance upward shows 7 more men speckling the upper flours, apparently running patrols.

Microphone perception.

S: 4

Redeemer's parabolic mic picks up random bits of conversation as he sweeps, finally landing on the command centre.

" ... making use of the snipers the private boys brought to keep an eye on the windows and exits. We've got feeds on all the cams in the sewers, and CSET is setting up to go in through the AC intake on the roof. Hydro sent us captures from the cameras, and sensors confirm the data. 20 men, heavily armed, and a bomb that could level the whole place, take out a third of the power grid. Tactical has been analyzing the situation, and says we're likely dealing with civilians. They've got nerve, but the operation is sloppy. We need to be careful. Anyone gets a shot off, and we lose the element of surprise, possibly the whole place. Tac is STILL working on identifying the triggering mechanism on the bomb, but until we have eyes on it they're working on scans alone. Breach is in ten people. No fuck ups."

Oooh, so many ones, but thankfully two sixes. Sebastian knows that the power-lines are underground, and are definitely not safe to touch, but that there are likely maintenance passageways running alongside them, probably large enough to walk through.

Scientific Method vs Manhole

Hey, so we aren't rerolling 6s. You still pass, but I wanted to clarify that 6s are just irrevocable successes, they can't be cancelled out by 1s, but they only count as 1 success. The manhole cover slides back, revealing ladder runs built into the side of the passage, running down a dozen or so feet and opening into a partially lit passageway.
