MOTIVATION: Dr. Hayden believes that it is through science that he can do the most good for the most people, that knowledge is the most powerful weapon against darkness, and that it is enlightenment that destroys evil.

(-2) Limited: Each cell is burned out after three uses, so after nine charges are expended, the weapon can no longer be used. Professor must return to lab to retrieve new cells.

(-2) Requires coolant: Two liquid nitrogen canisters keep core cool. One canister of coolant removes enough heat via evaporation for 12 days of continuous activity. Usually the professor returns to the lab to retrieve a new one as soon as one is low; the second acts as an emergency spare. If coolant runs out and core overheats, the professor will enter hibernation until temperature returns to safe levels.
(-2) No natural healing: Normally the professor must return to his lab to regain health, unless another character has sufficient technology skill to repair him.

Gear carried depends on the task. He can at least be counted on to carry a few pens, a notepad, and maybe a tape recorder for work in the field.

HERO APPEARANCE: A faceless android wearing a white labcoat, black tie, and black slacks. He uses a male voice (although created digitally) and refers to himself in the masculine gender. His movements are calm and deliberate. When agitated, his voice becomes distorted, even auto-tuned.

Dr. Hayden's laboratory
A sprawling research facility and manufacturing center. The lab has whatever technology, equipment, and capabilities the plot requires it to. This is not always a good thing for the heroes.

Dr. Hayden's research assistants
Two to twelve graduate students and fellow researchers working at his lab, the number varying by time of year and funding. Obviously, there should be one implausibly attractive 20-something Australian lady who is a brilliant geneticist, an American AI researcher and programmer who looks like Steve Wozniak, and at least one generically British theoretical physicist (male or female). The rest can be filled in as per GM whim. These characters mostly serve the purpose of being convenient hostages and other plot hooks, but also, to grant the Professor access to fields of knowledge outside his specialties.

CONNECTIONS:
Besides his grad students, Dr. Hayden is of course a member of the scientific and academic communities, and so has a number of colleagues in these spheres. Besides professors and researchers, he also regularly corresponds with the editors of prestigious journals, investors, grant associations, industry representatives interested in his work, the press, and the occasional minor politician. His parents are well-respected but ordinary upper-middle-class citizens living in a medium-sized city. His father might be ex-military. Since this implies he is an established public figure, you'd think most people would be used to his appearance, and those he works with personally are; however, he conducts most professional business, including interviews, over the phone.


ORIGIN STORY
Dr. Hayden's current "situation" is the result of a tragic accident which exposed him to lethal amounts of radiation. Unfortunately for the Professor, in this instance, radiation worked like it does in real life rather than comic books, so instead of giving him powers or mutations, it just gave him radiation poisoning. With days to live, he invented a method for transferring consciousness to an electronic substrate, and designed for himself a new body. This method is the one discovery he has not shared with the world - he fears that, if he did, almost everyone would do so immediately without thinking. Since there is no data available, he has no idea what long-term consequences he may face. Unless, of course, man-to-machine consciousness transfer is commonplace in the setting, in which case all of this is irrelevant.

Blast (Energy - 7D)
- Hastielle is able to utilize the condensed photo-kinetic energy in her body to fire searing hot, concussive bolts of light. The bolts, like all of her powers, are a neon purple colour, full of glittering particles that move with the flow of the energy.
Constructs (Energy - 7D)
- Projecting, and condensing photo-kinetic particles, Hastielle is able to create hard-light imagery, constructs of relatively simple shapes, walls, bars, columns, simply object, etc, out of thin air. Constructs have Hardness, and Might (in the case of a support beam or bridge), equivalent to the user's Construct trait rating.
Flight (7D)
- Hastielle is able to achieve flight, leaving a purple, glimmering streak behind her, the length of which depends on her speed. Top Speed 128.75 KPH
Force Field (7D)
- Hastielle can summon a field of light, which she can extend around anyone standing next to her, which protects from damage. Active as an action to shield self and nearby allies, counts as a passive defence. Usable multiple times per page without penalty, and can be activated as a free action, but it will drop if anyone inside is successfully injured.
Regeneration (3D)
- Hastielle's hard-light particles can regenerate much faster than human cells, and will start to repair themselves even after being entirely scattered. Health recovers a 1 point per hour.
Immortality/Unkillable/Life Support (6D)
- As a Celestine, Hastielle's body looks exactly like a human's, inside and out, but it doesn't act like one at a cellular level. It doesn't age, it doesn't require food, or drink, or breath, and it doesn't die. +1D to all defence rolls. Cannot be killed, or die, and has no need for food, drink, sleep, or air. Can still be injured, knocked out, incapacitated, poisoned, torn apart, etc.

GEAR
Having spent all of her money on her nice, new heroing uniform, and relying entirely on her powers, Hastielle uses no equipment to speak of.

FLAWS: Vulnerability (Darkness) - Hastielle is vulnerable to darkness-based attacks and effects. Earn resolve whenever a defence roll is foregone against a darkness-based attack.
Broke - Hastielle has, at her disposal, all the resources you would expect of a teenager living on their own in the city. Hastielle has no gadgets, or gear, and only has an apartment and groceries because of social assistance. Earn resolve any time a lack of resources presents a problem.
Restriction - Hastielle is, for legal purposes, an emancipated teenager. Being a superhero won't let you sign up for your own bank account. Earn resolve whenever being below the age of majority becomes troublesome.

HERO APPEARANCE: Like THIS, but the body of the suit is purple instead of red, and the house of El symbol isn't there, obviously. Instead, Daybreak's insignia is a purple shooting star with eight points, and the 'tail' pointing downward. The center is also cut-out ... because power girl.
CIVILIAN DESCRIPTION: Yes, that's totally lady Thor, but ignore the armour. Dawn, as she is technically named, stands at 5'4", with a modest, slightly pear-shaped frame. Lithe, and slender, she looks toned, but her generally healthy appearance belies her strength. Her hair is platinum blonde, and hangs well past her shoulders, while her skin is buttery and fair. Her eyes are vivid purple, and often carved into a pensive stare. She's usually dressed with what she calls thrift-shop-flare, and likes sleeveless and generally cut-off things, but will to dress with the season.

Ethel Bridges - Hastielle's landlady.

Mrs. Concepcion - The nice woman who owns the foreign foods market down the street from Hastielle's apartment, they sometimes chat. She has a large family, and is always trying to get Dawn over for dinner (and to meet her sons.)

Dale Richmond - Her social worker. If it were an option, Dale would probably be printed in greyscale, even if everyone else was in colour. He's either very stoic, or a very broken man.

Mr. and Mrs. Jensen - Hastielle's adoptive parents, who provided her legal name and raised her from a baby. They lost a quarter of their house to their daughter's powers the night they awoke, and now refuse to speak to her. Their lawyer gave her an envelope that they'd been provided by the adoption agency, still sealed. Inside she found a gold necklace with the word HASTIELLE OF THE CELESTINE printed on it in a strange, shifting script.

ORIGIN STORY

Dawn Jensen, or Hastielle (As she's recently discovered), like most people, doesn't remember her early childhood. She doesn't remember how she ended up in a parking-lot, surrounded by melted asphalt, or who might have left her there. The first thing she remembers is the Jensen family home, her adoptive family. She remembers going to normal schools, in a normal, boring town, in a normal, boring part of Eastern British Columbia. She remembers her parents being constantly stressed with her unusual behaviour, her strange quirks, her seemingly endless energy and refusal to get sick. They had no idea. It was a few days after her sixteenth birthday that she woke up to her house being torn apart by shaft of purple light shooting out of her body. That was the last night she spent in that house. Her parents insisted. She moved to the city ... the only big city left in the province. Hell, at this point it WAS half the province. She just wanted to disappear, wanted to get as far from her old life as she could, to deny what had happened and move on. If she'd been allowed to leave the province, or the country, she probably would have ended up in Cuba.

But no, Neo-Galiano was big enough to disappear in, and it wasn't like her parents would come looking. Her case worker set her up with an apartment in a supportive housing complex, just a few doors down from ex-addicts and the impoverished elderly. It was a crumby part of town, but at least there was a sense of community, even where you wouldn't expect to find it. For weeks she lived in fear of having another outburst of light, and found it harder and harder to get to sleep, but as time went on she felt less and less need to. Her desire for food fell away too, and one day she woke up not breathing in a panic until she realized she felt fine. As her body finished changing, she withdrew from her neighbours, from her alternate school, from everyone, feeling more and more rejected; her adoptive parents, her home planet or whatever ... no one wanted her, she was just a dangerous liability.

Sometimes her neighbours or her case worker would check on her, but for six months she didn't leave her apartment. Not until she saw one of her neighbours being attacked in the parking lot. It was a woman with a long history of opioide abuse, a woman whose old friends had found her. Much as she wanted to stay inside, stay out of the way, something compelled her to dash out her front door, to come to the defence of her neighbour. That was the first time she was really able to control her powers. It only took one bolt of light, one of the scraggly figures sprawled, surprised and smoking, on the ground to send the rest running. The woman hugged her for what seemed like a very long time. That was the night she answered her biggest question, the one that had been haunting her since her life came crashing down; Who am I?

The answer was simple ... I'm someone who helps people.

It was a reawakening. She started turning in school assignments again, left her apartment for the first time in a long time, started saving what little money she had left from her assistance cheques after bills. Inspired by the theatricality of other, more famous heroes, she combed the internet for a super suit. Once her outfit arrives, it will be time for her first patrol, something she looks forward to with equal parts dread and excitement.

Even before the treatment, Alonzo knew how to leave someone flat on their ass. Now, no one's fragile balance is safe.

The primary effect of the treatment, Alonzo heals at an unnatural rate, and in such a seemingly efficient way that it doesn't impact his nutritional needs.

Alonzo has a ridiculously high pain tolerance, and can ignore the pain of injury when necessary.
2d Uncanny Defense:
Self-discipline and unorthodox conditioning has allowed Alonzo to always be on guard.
6d Weakness Detection:
An ability Alonzo's had all his life. By reading something's behavior, Alonzo can determine where it's weakest.

-2d Demanding: Alonzo forces his mind to analyze and deduce incredibly quickly and often in convoluted ways. This, understandably, puts stress on his brain and gives him mental fatigue.

-1d Inhibited: Alonzo must be able to focus on his target for analysis, so powerful emotions such as rage or grief are far too distracting for Alonzo to maintain his train of thought. He doesn't usually feel these emotions, but when he does, it's hard to set them to the side.

-1d Limited: Alonzo cannot discern the weaknesses of inanimate objects. In this case, inanimate means objects not currently moving of their own accord.

-1d Side Effect Alonzo finds it harder to feel empathy for those he analyzes.

1d Wealth:
Alonzo has several hidden accounts containing an impressive fortune of ill-gotten gains.

GEAR
Armor: Modern military/riot gear.

Weapons: Explosive grenades, flashbang grenades, a heavy machine-gun, a combat knife (melee edged), multiple pistols, a shotgun, an assault rifle, a sniper rifle, and a submachine gun. Not all can be carried at once, most are illegal, and all are stored at the Hideout.

Equipment: Binoculars, a bug detector, a custom untraceable flip phone, a portable computer, a crowbar, explosives, a gas mask built into his helmet, plastic handcuffs, a lockpick gun, night vision goggles built into his helmet, a parabolic microphone, rappelling gear, scopes, silencers, tracer bugs, transmitters, wire taps, and a voice modulator built into his helmet. Not all can be carried at once, and some are illegal. All are stored at the hideout.

Vehicles: Van (truck stats).

FLAWS:
Frenzy: Alonzo has always thrown himself into combat with great zeal, sometimes to his detriment. Now that he believes his actions to be righteous, it's even easier for his fervor to get out of hand.
Responsibility: Alonzo is currently raising his seven year old niece Julie. This comes with a lot of responsibilities, from school and daycare, to doctor's visits and just spending time with her.
Secret: If the Redeemer is revealed to be Roberto Toliver, who is in turn revealed to be (former) career criminal Alonzo Devine, his public standing would be irrevocably damaged, and he'd likely be prosecuted. There's also the possibility of old enemies going after Julie.

So the next time someone thinks of doing the selfish, cruel things you did, maybe they'll think of you. Maybe they'll remember the awful things I'm going to do to you. HERO APPEARANCE: He wears the armor in the image, a full body suit of titanium-vanadium alloy plates and a Kevlar frame. None of his body is exposed, even his eyes are covered by the red-tinged lenses of his helmet's night vision goggles. Unlike the image, the plates on his front and back are emblazoned with the white painted symbol of an ankh.
CIVILIAN DESCRIPTION: Alonzo can be a somewhat intimidating figure, and it's easy to see why. At 6'1", he's fairly tall, with a muscular, boxy frame, and a severe, older face for a twenty-eight year old. Scars criss-cross his dusky skin, and damage to his right eye has left it perpetually bloodshot, though his vision was largely unaffected. His head is hairless, partially by choice, partially by injury, which draws attention to his shifty gray eyes. He wears an eyepatch over his damaged eye when in public, mostly for disguise purposes. When out and about, he dresses in concealing clothes: hoodies, baseball caps, high-collar jackets, etc. When in private, he'll usually just rock a tank-top and some shorts.
OTHER DETAILS: Lives in a studio apartment in one of the slums of Neo-Galiano.
CONNECTIONS: Kyle "Spook" Lemdas - One of two people still in Alonzo's life from his criminal days, Kyle Lemdas, or "Spook" as he's more readily known, is a goods fencer and information broker throughout Neo-Galiano. A wiry, twitchy little man, Spook got his street name partially from his jumpy nature, and partially for his strict requirements for meetings with him and total willingness to bail if the meeting so much as "feels" wrong. Nevertheless, he's reliable if he trusts you, and his neutrality among the gangs and unwillingness to risk his own neck through betrayal make him quite popular in the underworld. Alonzo and Spook go back to when they were kids, and Spook owes him for Alonzo's help starting up. Because of this, Spook is still willing to do business with Alonzo, and usually with favorable rates.

Julie Hernandez - Alonzo's seven year old niece and ward. Has his sister's temper and a resiliency that rivals her uncle's. Likes horses, wants to race them when she grows up, but without whipping because that's mean. Likes Dotty's stories and when Alonzo throws her in the air. A bit short for her age, green eyed and with wispy auburn hair. A healthy weight, and as athletic as a little kid can be. Has a fierce shin kick.

Dorothy "Dotty" Dolores: A second generation southern immigrant from the U.S, makes a living as a small-scale daycare provider in the slums. A doting, maternal woman, but quick with a scolding when anyone, adult or child, "acts a fool", Dotty is excellent at her job. Nearing her fifties, her strawberry blonde hair is streaked with white, but she is spry for her age. Her thin, banana shaped body is quite healthy, allowing her to keep up with her wards, and her blue eyes are surrounded by laugh lines. She's gotten it in her head that Alonzo, or rather Roberto, has self confidence issues due to his scars, and that's why he's single. Pesters him about it quite a bit, but is always there when Alonzo needs to drop Julie off at odd times.

ORIGIN STORY

A native of the Seattle Bay mega-city, Alonzo was born the oldest in a lower-class family of five. His father was chronically unemployed, his mother was disabled and unable to work. He had a brother, Marco, who died of undiagnosed pneumonia at age four. His parents loved their children, and each other, but Marco's death strained their relationship. They took turns blaming each other for their family's financial troubles. The Devine household was not a quiet one.

Alonzo still had a younger sister, Valentina. She was an Inhuman, unlike Alonzo, with the ability to manipulate dreams. As Alonzo neared his eighteenth birthday, she told him she'd drop out if school and use her ability to help pay the rising bill prices. Alonzo loved his sister, and didn't want her to have to enable people's depraved fantasies, especially when he was the older brother. He promised he'd find a solution, and went around the neighborhood, looking for a job at sixteen. He found one, but not in the way he expected. He got a job, running packages for a gang with his friend Kyle. It made good money, and stress in the Devine household was severely reduced. Even if they weren't sure what Alonzo's job was.

After severely beating a rival gang member who tried to steal his package, Alonzo was made a full member and quickly made a name for himself as an enforcer. Intimidation came easy to Alonzo, and the money was good. After a few years, the gang leader died of cancer, and Alonzo, now a lieutenant, was promoted. He ruled his territory through fear, intimidating witnesses to the gang's crime and ruthlessly eliminating the gang's enemies. He was good at being the boss, and by the time he was twenty-one, his sister was married and pregnant, and his parents were retired in a house he'd bought for them.

By the time he was twenty-four, his control was uncontested. But he was cocky, and thought the surrounding territories wouldn't be able to resist him if he tried to expand. He didn't know the Mafia already had stakes there. He couldn't make amends when he realized. He ran a local gang, a powerful one, but still just a local gang. They were terrified of a war, but Alonzo assured them he'd handle it. He trusted them to trust him. He was wrong.

They tried to kill him. He was meant to be a sacrifice, a message that they'd realized their mistake. But he'd always been at home in a gun fight, and despite being stabbed and set on fire, killed his attackers and escaped. He'd come to wish he hadn't. First they killed his parents. Shot them in the home the gang had bought. Once he found out, Alonzo hurried to his sister's house as fast as he could, but was unable to save her or her husband. After blowing holes in the punks his former friends had sent, he found her bleeding in the kitchen. She died in his arms, and he promised to take care of her daughter. He took her to a safe house set up by his friend Kyle, or "Spook" as he was now called, and made a strange request.

After the events of the November Crisis, there were plenty of quacks who claimed they could give Inhuman powers in one way or another, but none were consistently successful. But on the black market, a treatment involving injection of pieces of the original meteor while the patient's body underwent extreme stress had better results. Nearly thirty percent received Inhuman powers, but nearly twenty percent died. Alonzo, against the advice of Spook, underwent this procedure. He needed to strike back at his former allies, who had shown him a pain he had not thought possible, and he couldn't do that as a normal man. He doesn't remember parts of the treatment, but it was worse than any physical pain he'd felt in his life. But he survived, and over the next few weeks, his body changed, and his abilities manifested. He began training, refining and augmenting his skill set so he could take vengeance upon his former gang.

After nearly a year, he had completed his training, and over the next six months waged a personally war against his family's murderers. When the dust settled, he remained. He illegally immigrated to British Columbia under an assumed name, and has been living for around a year in Neo-Galiano. But it seems like he's right back where he started, just in his own parents shoes. He fears for Julie's safety, and moving to a more affluent neighborhood risks exposing him. Something needs to be done. Maybe it's time to get out the old armor...

HERO APPEARANCE: At 7' 6'' Bray is quite the sight to behold. Glistening red scales cover most of his body except his tanned eggshell underbelly and his obsidian horns and claws. His dull yellow eyes and lizard-like face give him a perpetually cold expression. He wears a dull muted pants which end in his exposed feet with display another set of sharp claws and jacket with an open back where his large leathery wings reside. In combat or when trying to intimidate he stands straight and spreads wings he looks gargantuan to most humans however he normally has his wings folded behind his back.
CIVILIAN DESCRIPTION: Bray tries his best to stay out of public vision as it always seems to cause a panic.
OTHER DETAILS: When not working Bray spends a majority of his time at the secret offices of the local branch of paranormal part of government. They are happy to give him someplace to stay as the less time he spends in the public eye the less damage control they have to do. Bray eats large amounts of primarily meat (preferably very rare)
CONNECTIONS: Amadeus Shooblegrueber: Brilliant but cocky tombraider / archaeologist who uncovered Bray in a hidden temple in the Kazumura Cave

ORIGIN STORY
Long before humans, demons, celestials and other unnatural things took over the world, dragons were the shepherds. We looked after all the creatures through many a long era as watched over as the planet changed. Eventually the tide changed. Humanity began to emerge as the dominant species and spread across the land like wildfire. Celestials and demons also emerged during this era leading to widespread conflicts. The dragons tried to oppose these outside forces but during this time human expansion also began to lead to conflicts with dragons as well. This pressure caused a great divide in dragonkind. There were those who saw the great heroes that emerged from this fledgling humanity and held them up as beacons for the good that this race could do while others pointed out the devastation that seemed to follow human civilization across the world. Eventually this rift led to conflicts between dragons as well. Dragonkind became segmented as they seemed to be in fights everywhere and a great many dragons fell. The remaining decided to go into hiding making their homes in nearly impossible to reach places or killing any who ventured too close.

It was in one of these hiding places, an underground temple carved in reverence to one of the great protectors of humanity in the last ages of dragons that Bray was found. After it was stumbled upon rumors began to spread of this volcanic temple and the daring Amadeus Shooblegrueber decided that he once again was just the man to brave conquer this gauntlet and see what riches lie within. *que indiana jones music and fast forward though trapped temple sequence* It was at the center of this temple that he found a miraculous creature, it was clearly a man sized dragon. Amadeus fled the temple and later returned with the paranormal department of the us governement who after some time managed to capture the creature after awakening it.

Bray was a young wyrmling during the last age of the dragons. His mother Irenth was one of the last leaders of the dragons who sided with humanity. When she knew her time was numbered she requisitioned help from the local island tribe to create a safe hiding spot for her child to grow. Bray was taught all he knew by Irenth until the humans woke him centuries later and he was captured. Bray lived in captivity for a long time until eventually a few members of the paranormal department in charge of him built up a repertoire. They were able to generally co-exist as both sides accepted mutual civility made their lives easier. The paranormal department managed to uncover and translate some of the temple and found the story of Irenth and the fall of dragonkind. Through the miraculous work of a couple of scientists working for this department they manged to somewhat translate and began the lengthy process of educating Bray. Eventually Bray and a majority of the department got along and they began asking for his help with certain tasks. He was glad to have the freedom and worked tirelessly, now seeing as his mother did the possible good side of humanity. He worked with quite a few agents a few others like himself ("creatures" working under the supervision of said department) against things the things that went bump in the night. Bray saw firsthand not only the evil that these creatures could do but the influence evil individuals could have as he lost quite a few teammates during this time. Bray began to crave his freedom more and eventually with the assistance of Dr. Hibble he was able to secure his freedom to roam the city at night when he isn't needed (as long as he doesn't cause too many headaches). It is here that our story starts, as this dragon vows to create a better world by cleansing one evil at a time.

He appears to be cold, reserved, and quiet through his mannerism but nonetheless, he is sensitive and caring.
CIVILIAN DESCRIPTION: Niccolo is usually in formal attire when he is working as a musician at bar during night. Niccolo is very much a night owl and seldom appears in public under broad daylight unless it is necessary, his short black hair appears to be more messy and he almost constantly looks like he can use a cup of coffee with those dark circles under his eyes and the constantly yawning, his overall worn out look may be due to his unhealthy obsession with sleeping.

CONNECTIONS:
Niccolo leads a solitary lifestyle. He is somewhat a lone wolf and quite literally spends most of his time hiding from the daylight dozing off in his bed. Even though he chose to work in a place bustling with nightlife, he will pretty much just blend into the background with his mediocrity.

Father-Ever since Niccolo escape captivity and left his abusive father by running away from home with his superpower, Niccolo lost contact with his father completely, his only blood-related family that may or may not be alive now. Niccolo had lost all connections with him, in fact, that's exactly what he wants. He wants to forget about him completely, but failed to do so. Every now and then, his father's shadow still lurks deep down in his blurry memory.

Mother-Niccolo's mother left the world when Niccolo was relatively young, leaving him living alone with his father as the only child. Niccolo's memory regarding his mother is vague.

Loving Spirit- The anonymous spirit from The Other Side that 'revived' Niccolo from the brink of death, and thus granting him his power. Niccolo lost all contact with the mysterious spirit after the incident.

Niccolo lived a life where he constantly wanted to just fade into the background and disappear from the world, but reality often reminded him that there was no escape when he felt the sense of helplessness enveloping him every time his younger self heard the man stepping through the door. He almost felt like there was nothing to this world anymore, because he never had a chance to see it, but everything of this world didn't matter to him, he once thought, as long as it didn't hurt anymore, he was willing to do anything to end everything. He is, after all, a coward in nature, so escaping and hiding is the only thing he'll ever want to do, he just want to turn invisible and disappear form the world.

When he felt the world around him faded away, he opened his eye to see the world between life and death, a void of nothingness that had engulfed him, darkness, was what he remembered. Everything had ended, he will not have to suffer anymore, now what? He had lost his way, where should he go, what will become of him? He once thought every fragment of him will vanish from the world once his heart stop beating, but now part of him had left behind, left behind in the world, the life, he despised so much. That made him think, perhaps part of him didn't want all of it to end like this, part of him didn't want to go. At that timeless moment, alone in the rift of reality, he was lost as he'll ever be.
"If you have a chance, do you want to go back there?"

"Say yes. That's all you need to do to go back there, and do what must be done, only then you'll find your way." An entity told him. "Why me? Why do I have a second chance?" He asked, but never got an answer.
"Say yes. That's all you need to do." The entity repeated.


He paused, deep within him, fear was brewing. It's was hard for him to find the courage to say yes, and relive the world that's filled with suffering and fear.

"Yes, I want to go back."

If fate chose to not let him go, perhaps, his newly gained power from the brink of inferno is not the offer for his way to escape and hide, but his way to live on in the face of his fear. Now the world doesn't have to be a place filled with fear, he can always make the world fears him.

He has softer features, and smooth skin making his face boarder on femininity. He has a boyish charm in his features, beyond that he wears a green jacket with two pockets on ths inside and about six layed out along the outsides with a hood.

ORIGIN STORY He was born within the utility district, nothing was overtly exeptional about him then. He was born at exactly 2:58 am and the greatest story he ever got was about how he interupted his fathers sleep. As a normal child he did normal things, atleast for a child in the utility district he snuck around the apartments at night, counted the many camras that lay around the streets, and over course tried to get stuff from people who came from the park.
Things really were as normal as they got for a kid like him, then IT happened. His parents died, it wasn't anything abnormal, no big story about that randon criminal or something. His mom died of some misconscribed pills(accidentally traded prescription with someone else on lind when they bumped into each other). Dad had heart problems and passed in his sleep, the police as kind as they came in this city atleast gave him over to his older sister.
His sister was a kind of harsh but fair woman, she had dreams, goals, and the skill to get them. She was an engineer from out of town so he got to appreicate another town ship. Now they weren't rich so he found his new favorite hobby, theift. Normally it was small things, a sweet there, a few bucks here. Honestly he ment no malicious intent from it and it didn't take a anything that would be missed. More over he was really good at, scarily so. He has been born with a gift, the gift of invisibility, not as we know it but more the phenomena known as the grey man. He could slip in and blend in naturally with almost any crowd, using charm and stealth he would disappear into plain sight.
His want for simple crime was never satisfied though, he went after bigger targets as he got older. He would watch men install security systems then sneak in and tear them apart. Aparently he had another trick, he could always seem to figure something out just by toying with it for a bit. Over the years he became a masturful theif taking all he wanted and never caring for who it came from. That was untell his sister met her rival, another woman simply known as susan.
You see susan wasn't a normal girl no no, she was a special, just like his sister. Her parents pride and joy she had had everything given to her on a silver platter. From money, to expensive trips around the world, to a superhuman ability in the sciences. So when she met his sister she was .... perturbed, infact one could say she was quite furious. She used her parents vast resources to have the problem handled. About sixteen he watched as two men broke in to his house and ...... she died in the end that's all that matters. Well if it weren't for his sisters gossipy nature he wouldn't have known about susan, or the name of the company her parents ran, the same company that he saw the logo of on the van that carried the men away.
He isn't the type for petty revenge, he didn't hate the men he hated susan. So he found her house, breaking in was easy, finding her was easy, the security system easy. She had two cyborg mastifs, large robotic beasts that seemed indominable in their size and ferocity. He destroyed them silently with his bare hands, he would later reflect on that, but at the moment he had bigger fish to fry. Pain would not heal his pain, "there would be no torture" he thought as he walked into her room. "She didn't deserve all she got" he thought as he opened the large window that extended from floor to ceiling, its automatic engine pulling its self quickly all the way up. She approached the window cursing the machines that made it do that, as she moved to close is she felt his touch only breifly. He pushed her and was gone they never met eyes nore did he have some life changing regret about it later. He simply delt with the issue by pushing it out of the window....of a twenty fifth floor apartment.
He never bothered to check how her parents reacted or even to look at the mess he Made. He simply got out of town, using his impressive skills of persuasion to catch a ride to somewhere familiar and his skills of theift get him the rest of the means of survival. For a man who can take anything, persuade anyone, and never been seen tell he wants, survival in neo-gallaio was as easy as a walk in the park. Or more accurately the park district ever so often, he payed his rent in stolen bills, all of which took no more then a couple hours walking around that rich place.
It was the apartment he took that finally forced him to confront what he had done. He layed in the bed that used to be his parents, ate out of the same refrigerator, and watched the news on the same bad tv. He dream't of his parents staring at him disapprovingly for two years before he finally did something to try and appease his guilty soul. First off he stopped stealing for a living (only for fun) He got a job at a robotics shop, though never got a good hold on the whole work thing. Second he promised him self he would adhear to a set of rules, writing them down and keeping them close soothed his soul and in the end he was able to relax. After that he has found that the occasional hunger for justic over takes him, after all the blessed need to share occasionally right? Though he nornally keeps it local people known, atleast in his building someone is watching out for them even if the man is never seen.

B. Isn't easily enough replaced (like he'll steal your really nice shoes, you can just buy cheaper ones)
C. From the poor or someone in a seriously bad situation
Like if a guy has crap tons of money he would jack his tv but never anything as big as a car
