History:
The wanderer generally known as the Blind Swordsman grew up scraping a living as an orphan in the streets of Nexus. His mother, River Blossom, had been the sole survivor of the Second Circle Demon Nesherak's attack on a small village somewhere in the hundred kingdoms; raped and left amongst the bodies of her family and friends, she made her way to Nexus looking for help and shelter only to die in childbirth.
As a child, he was always sickly looking and pallid, with chilling black eyes. Generally shunned by the other street children, he spent most of his time alone, listening to the stories the shade of his dead mother whispered to him from across the veil.
Urged by his mother's insane pleas for vengeance, the nameless orphan boy would spend every waking moment teaching himself swordplay with a old length of wood.
In his 14th summer he signed on with a mercenary company, after silencing the swarthy men's laughter at the sight of a young boy with a stick by beating them all senseless.
Properly equipped and armed for the first time, he proved himself a prodigy with the blade; easily outfighting well trained men twice his age.
Sadly this was not to last, as his demonic parentage finally started to shine through in his 15th year. His pallid skin over a course of months began to look like dead flesh draped over unholy scales, and a terrible green glint of light became noticeable in his terrible dead eyes. Knowing the horror of his parentage, and filled with shame and disgust at what he so clearly was, he deserted his position and fled into the countryside.
Scarcely a day had passed since his escape from Nexus when his most horrifying aspect finally came to the fore; The green light in his eyes which had catalyzed his exit flared into a terrifying vista of Malfeas itself, nearly driving him mad when he looked into a pool of still water to see what had happened.
Had not River Blossom come to him that night, he would have taken his own life in rage and disgust at what he had become. But faced with the misery of his mother's ghost, he instead swore a mickle oath to never show his eyes again, and to hunt down and kill his father Nesherak.
Taken now to wandering the threshold, looking for traces as to what has become of his father, The Blind Swordsman has become a minor figure of lore in these troubled times; The twisted and unholy man blindfolded and armed with the weapons of (rumour has it) a Dragon Blood foolish enough to underestimate him, who will protect the innocent against demons and anathema, but spit on those who offer him aid or succor.

The Blind Swordsman will always wear a heavy leather blindfold over his eyes. Always. This means he will suffer a 2 success penalty on most actions he takes.
Blind Swordsman was designed to work with a mixed party of Exalts; As such he is slightly min/maxed, but hopefully in such a way as to provide an interesting number of hooks. Putting Uncanny Prowess on any dexterity based action he takes (and, seriously, when is he not going to take Dex actions?) should let him keep up. Principle of Motion is for when someone needs every square inch of their ass kicked.
