When I say "naruto inspired" I mean that in the way of things from said universe being the same as or similar in this fiction. Chakra and magic techniques fuelled by it. Tailed beasts made of chakra. Child soldier programs due to a world of war and battle. Etc etc... with that in mind I will say no to some things.
Mainly genetic eye magic with countless abilities. Sharingan for example would need to be nerfed so it isn't a Wikipedia page of techniques.
Point being you can easily adapt your naruto OC or a knock off version of a Canon character if that's more your speed. Kekkei genkai, chakra natures all that stuff is here or tweaked in some fashion.

In this world countless battles have been fought. The nations have been apart of many wars between themselves, though they have allied in times of need or great danger. Since the beginning of recorded history, none know of greater threats then the Demonic beasts.
Monsters of large size with violent tendencies that may have originally been regular animals at some point... The lands know demonic beasts are terrifying and destructive on the scale of natural diasaters. A example? The demon wolf Haemorsis is very much the same as a bloody tornado of fangs and claws... It destroys anything in its path.
These demons are not invincible however, throughout history people have successfully slain these foul monsters and been free of them for some time before they appear elsewhere on the world once more.
What was once the techniques of ancient occultists for taboo rituals became the precedent for humans pursuing power. Instead of slaying the Demon beast, seal it away inside a host or weapon. Learn to harness that monstrous power...
(Coincidentally these techniques were also something monks and holy people learned for demonic confrontations)
These hard learned techniques, or by having a inherent gift for sealing... People harnessed demonic beasts as best they could.
The world has changed over time with these leaps and bounds of strengths and destruction. But the demons still roam as dangerous threats, that never seems to change...

This is basically the same as how naruto has three genin and a jonin assigned as leader.

Two spots are for demon hosts,
One being a physical host, a demon beast sealed in your character at a early age.
One being attuned to a demonic weapon, said weapon a heirloom of power aswell as a curse on your family.
Two spots for leader/jonin,
Four spots for genin/rookies,
I'd fill in one or two roles as needed.
Leader of team 1 and a rookie of team 2
