Good morning agents. Or evening for some of you, I suppose. I hope you're all ready for another assignment, I can promise you that this one is particularly shit…
Fuck, I feel rancid for even typing this. Apologies in advance.
So here's what I can tell you. Three agents – Agent Palmer, Kurk and Babcock – were sent out on a reconnaissance mission about two weeks ago in New Mexico. They were supposed to be investigating something for Delta Officials, but whatever it was, I couldn't tell you. Trust me, I wish I knew, but I don’t. Those fuckers up there in their safe little cubicles just told me to deploy the sorry lot and tell them that they would receive further instructions on sight. Some of you may know the type of mission I’m referring to, too those of you who don’t, don’t worry you’ll get to know them intimately if you survive long enough. Trust me, they ain’t fun. Back in the day, we would call them Moon Walks, if it doesn’t make sense now, it will once you experience it…
Anyway, I’m getting off track.
About a week ago – after not hearing anything from our three agents – we received the following distress call from Agent Palmer.
Because of this distress call, we have reason to believe that Agent Babcock has gone AWOL and has possibly killed Agent Kurk and Palmer. We also have reason to believe that Agent Babcock is mentally disgruntled and is armed and dangerous. The last confirmed sighting we had of him was in Whites City, New Mexico, which is where we’ll be sending you. It’s a small little backwater town, population being somewhere around 20.
About seven miles away from Whites City is the Carlsbad National Park, which is known for it’s expansive cave systems. You will be covering as a group of friends on vacation, using Whites City as a waypoint for your planned trip of spelunking in the Carlsbad caves. More information on Whites City can be found in the attached files bellow.
We’ll be sending each of you a separate message after this one, with coordinates for a pick-up point. Drive there to receive a lift to New Mexico. Once you’ve been dropped off, you’ll be met with your mission leader and a Recreational Vehicle. There’s an RV park in Whites City, used mostly by the campers, so we figure this will be the best way to blend in and give you an easy way to set up a base of operations.
DG officials want you to find and capture Agent Babcock, as well as confirm the death of agent Kurk and Palmer. Until then we will continue to believe the two are alive, and you will keep searching for them.
If you want my personal take on the mission, something seems off. Of course I have a feeling you already knew that. Anyway, watch yourself out there agent, and stay on your toes. I won’t even begin to pretend like I know what’s going on, but I get the sense that you’ll soon find out.
Agent Babcock was a good friend of mine, but if he is truly insane, and is threatening you or a fellow agent’s life, don’t hesitate to put him down. If I catch wind of any knew information, I’ll let you know. Be quick, be careful, and don’t get caught. For the love of god, try to blend in as much as you can.

About a week ago – after not hearing anything from our three agents – we received the following distress call from Agent Palmer.
In a shaky voice, a man speaks quietly into a Sat-Phone, his heavy breathing causing him to stop mid-sentence several times. “H-hello? C-can you h-hear – me? Shit man. O-okay, f-f-FUCK!” He yells, and then pauses, before speaking in a hushed tone once again. “Just listen I – I need evac immediately.” The man’s voice becomes more pleading, he speaks frantically. “It’s Agent Babcock, h-he’s gone fucking nuts! Th-th-the guy’s unraveled, he’s cracked. H-he - he - he.” There is a pause as the man whimpers pathetically before he speaks again, this time sobbing slightly. “He fucking killed Kurk, man. F-fuckin’ tore his arms off and sh-shit. I n-n-never seen a-anything like it before, m-man. Just tore – He Just tore the poor f-fucker apart before b-blasting his fucking – his fucking brains out, m-man.” There is silence from Agent Palmer. There is the sound of quick footsteps and rushing air, and then he speaks again, more composed now. “There’s nobody there, is there. Hehehehe. There’s nobody coming, is there. No, there wouldn’t be… I guess not.” There is silence once again, followed by the sound of hard packed dirt crunching under the weight of something. “The moon's out tonight.”
There’s silence again, this time lasting much longer. About a minute passes. Just silence and the wind. There is static, and then a gunshot.
