deleting text (Backspace/Ctrl+Z bug)

i thought this was just because i was using my tablet because it sucks, but it occurs on phone, tablet, and laptop.


Sometimes when i hit backspace or enter on a post it deletes a whole section of text. I just had a whole paragraph vanish, and we don't have redo buttons so it is quite vexing.

That happens to a lot of us. No way around it, as far as I know. Copy your text while you type?

This has also been known to happen with Ctrl+Z.  I don't think a redo button would help because Ctrl+Y does not.  Sorry. :/   We haven't found what causes this yet, I'm afraid.  Saving your writing in another place is probably the best workaround for now.


If I'm writing a long post, I like to select everything and copy it.  Then at least it's on my device's clipboard.  A bit of a warning, though: sometimes it won't let you select everything.  I'm not sure why, but it tends to be a sign that something's about to go wonky.

So I've been having a problem. One that is pissing me off so much because I have lost a lot of writing because of it. When I go to undo something I've written using the "CTRL + Z" shortcut, it undos literally everything rather than deleting the last thing I've done. This hadn't been a problem before just recently and I'm thinking it might be a bug with RPN or something? I've mentioned it to a friend and she said the same thing has been happening to her, so...  :l 


I dunno, if there is some way to resolve this, that would be great.

This happens to a lot of people. And also, just pressing the backspace sometimes ends up deleting everything. So far, I don't think there's a solution aside from copying all your text every once in awhile in case it get's deleted.

I lost the persona and requisite. Dx 


It was terrible because I'm already in a bad mood and this just makes it even woooorse. 


The enter thing hasn't happened to me yet, though. 


Though it does sometimes duplicate my coding.

Believe me, it's happened to me before, too. That's why I do highlight everything and copy it every once in awhile just in case. It only happens on this site so not sure what's going on.
