Her Kekkei Genkai is directly related to the moon. The fuller the moon is, the more of a Chakra boost Yuna gets. When the moon is full, her attacks and Chakra boost are ten times more powerful than they would normally be during a new moon.

True to her birthname, Yuna Hana is a kind person. But she dislikes being underestimated by others, as she takes her training very seriously. Though she looks innocent, she has powerful attacks and a powerful Kekkei Genkai.

Like Naruto, though Yuna Hana wasn't a Jinchūriki, Yuna Hana didn't make friends easily. Not like Naruto could and did. The only real friend that Yuna Hana had was Naruto. The eight-year-old was very shy. In fact, Yuna was still too young to join the Academy of the Hidden Leaf Village and become a Ninja like Naruto. For the time being, she often trained alone, practicing her Kunai throwing and other throwing weapons. Though Yuna preferred the Senbon needles. They were harder to see and easier to throw and could still be used for powerful attacks.
Letting out a deep breath, Yuna stood still as a heavy gust of wind suddenly blew around her. Tugging at her long, raven hair, her clothes, the grass and trees around her. It was often windy in the Hidden Leaf Village. Being fairly flat ground overall. Determined, Yuna Hana tightened her long ponytail, straightening out her hair after the sudden gust of wind. Yuna really disliked Kunai Knives and wasn't overly skilled with Shuriken Stars. The other children often making fun of her. She wasn't exactly the strongest of her class, but she tried hard and studied, and got all A's. She was very much like Sakura Haruno. Brainy, but not very much on the Brawn.
Still, when it came to Senbon needles, Yuna Hana was very skilled with them. Yuna also had very strong night vision. Even in no light, Yuna could see Chakra signatures, just like heat waves. The stronger the color, the stronger the ninja. It was part of her Kekkei Genkai. Though Yuna came from a small clan. It had very strong connections to the moon, since they were all water users. The fuller the moon, the stronger their attacks and the more Chakra boost they gained. They also gained more stamina.
Feeling exhausted and hungry, Yuna looked around her and saw that the sun had set long ago. Because of her strong vision, she hadn't realized it had become dark. Since her clan could see at night just as if it were day because of their Kekkei Genkai. Her stomach grumbled rather loudly, making Yuna Hana blush.
Before she took more than a dozen steps, the eight-year-old froze. Someone was watching her. Or...Or was it her imagination? Quickly, Yuna looked around and saw the two bodies of Chakra. A very bright and powerful blue. One was taller than the other.
"Whose there?" She called out, unaware of who they were.
