During the destruction of their realm, surviving Digimon were led to sanctuary by a mysterious celestial being of their kind.
They deemed her as the Digimon Goddess and from then on, she sheltered them from harm within her Digidome utopia.

Those inside were safe from the outside forces of evil and chaos. Corrupt and exiled Digimon existed outside the dome's barrier where they lived barbarically. For years to come, the inhabitants of the Digidome lived in tranquility under the wing of the DigiGoddess and their newfound home protected by her sacred barrier of light.

One day, the DigiGoddess vanished without a trace. Rogue Digimon from the outside began to target the dome and plotted to break their way in. Attacks on the barrier have raised caution and panic from those within the dome as malicious exiled Digimon have grown more hostile upon the absence of the Goddess.

In fear of a breach in their precious barrier which could risk the extinction of the Digidome inhabitants, the Guardians of the Dome seek outside sources for help from other worlds so that their power may be amplified to stand against the approaching darkness...

By way of the Goddess's forbidden devices, Digimon from inside the dome transport to the human world in search of those who would help them.

The story will primarily focus on what’s taking place in the Digidome in the digital realm. There will be a period at the beginning where the humans will be living their normal lives in the human world and be transported to the digital world. It doesn’t really matter what part of the world your character is in. The digidestined aka defenders of the dome in this rp will all be brought together either way.
