UPDATES.

• So, push came to shove and I'll have to remove The Articulated from the RP. There wasn't enough interest in the group, so I pulled it.
  
• On the bright side, this means many more spaces will open up in the other groups! So feel free to sign up! (This also means that maybe a new group will rear their head in the future!)
  
• We've had a lot of trouble with inactive members, I know that can be an issue sometimes when you have hard times in your life, and I know I can be inactive a lot of the time.. But if you know you're going to be inactive for a long period of time, please let me know.
  
• In general, you are usually given 3 days to reply, when the 3 days are up, you will be removed. (Very loose rule, I don't have the heart to remove people. But I will give you at least 2 warnings in advance, one on your page, and one in PM.)
  

Roleplay Overview:


What's happened so far?


The rivalry between The Zeppelin and Ruby Syndicate is as heated as ever, but with Natalie, a once prized member of the Syndicate, conversing with Hunter, a Zeppelin member, are things really going to turn round?


Virgil, a cold but committed Zeppelin member, captured Joel for interrogation. After a long, and pained process, he could get nothing out of him, and so, killed him. (Sylvia, (Syndicate member), is suspicious of Natalie and still pondering over where and what happened to Joel.)


This has alerted the Syndicate, and have become recruiting new members, as their members have been going missing left, right and centre.


Currently, Natalie feels a crushing guilt over the incident with Joel, as a memory from her past has left her reeling. Hunter took her to his fellow members apartment, Chase, where they are currently resting for the night.

History: As a young girl she witness both her parents shot and killed right in front of her because a couple of men tried to rob the place. You would think she would want revenge in some way in response to the death of her parents, but that is not what happened. Instead, this was when her eyes was opened up to the world for how much of an unfair place it is. On how much "things just happen and a lot of the time there is nothing you could have done to prevent it." From there she decided to go ahead and become part of this world where "things just happen".


Personality: She hates having as well as showing emotions so she tries her best to stay away from those. Instead, she thinks about work all the time so you could say she is a "workaholic".


Company: Ruby Syndicate (one of the higher-ups, often bumps into or has to go through Sorayo Komoro to do anything)


Preferred Weapon/ Method: She loves to poison people's food and drinks to kill some objectives. Her preferred weapon is Twin daggers though along with throwing knives.


Fun Facts: She is very good at faking personalities and emotions due to constantly observing others. She also loves to drink liquor and when she does, she doesn't hide any emotions. It's like she is a totally different person when she is drunk but only drinks when she isn't on a mission or working in general. And Under Your Nose.


Other: She can speak several languages and also is not afraid to use her body as distraction or as a part of her fake personalities.

As it was just her mother and herself living in her small house as a child, (her father leaving as he suffered from a drinking problem), Natalie would try her best to pickpocket and steal. Money was low, and she found she had a natural talent. Not only this but as she grew up, she became more manipulative, using her unique looks to her advantage. Despite this, after leaving home, she soon became homeless. Having to live it rough from the age of 16 'till 17 before being swooped off the streets and practically saved by Ruby Syndicate, she thanked the heavens. Owing everything to Ruby Syndicate, she now serves them, and has been for seven years. Living in a small apartment they bought her, she sometimes wishes for a normal life, to find a partner, settle down and have a family, but she knows this can never be the case. So she will keep using her body to her advantage, stealing, killing...whatever she can do, because she doesn't think she can do anything better.


Personality


Bitter but sweet, Natalie can be like a snake. She can be quite snappy, but deep down, she is still a little girl at heart. Her fun side and cocky side are usually the ones showing, despite this, she is still quite shy deep down, and her tough outer shell is a hard one to crack. (Sometimes, she wishes someone would crack it.) Not afraid of a bit of blood, she can kill without a problem, although, this comes back to haunt her at night as she cannot sleep and usually has to take medication to drift off. Flirtatious but dangerous is usually how she's perceived, never knowing quite how to take her. She is gentle though, and if you really get to dig down, you will see that.

Name: Elijah Marcone


Appearance:


Age: 18


History: He grew up in a happy home but once his family was gone he'd lost his happiness, he now refers to the time his parents died as 'the accident'. He doesn't know who killed his family but he does know that it was on order by one of the main company so hes joined them and taken up his blade killing anyone they so desire.


Personality: He used to be a loving caring person who wouldn't dream of harming anyone, but after 'the accident' he hasn't been the say he'd sooner stab someone in the back than he would try and talk to them. He's now very cynical and ruthless.


Company: The Articulated


Preferred Weapons/Methods: He prefers to stay hidden in the shadows for as long as possible using throwing knives tipped in poison, If he cant get the kill with the knives he'll sneak up behind them and use two hidden blades that sit on his wrists under his sleeves, and if all else falls he has a set of two Kantanas that are extremely quite and he will ruthlessly kill, for longer ranged he does have a pistol with lots of bullets but he doesn't use it often. All these weapons are tipped in the deadly venom of the black widow spider.


Inventory: 10 throwing knives, 2 hidden blades, 2 katanas, 1 pistol, 60 bullets in two magazines, leather armour


Fun Facts: He has his own spider farm. He has plenty of long ranged weapons he could very easily use them to kill every target but he'd sooner feel the life leave his victim than use long ranged. His spiders are like children to him because since he's joined the company he has no life besides being on the job.


Other: Just before he makes his kill he whispers to his target, and if he cant get to whisper to them he leaves a note that says, "they died quickly don't worry so will you, and TURN AROUND!!!"

Name: Holly Carter


Appearance:

Age: 22


History: Born and raised in the inner city of Chicago, Holly was raised to survive, regardless of the moral integrity of her actions. She changed her name from Alexis to Holly when she left home at seventeen. She has five siblings, an absent father, and a mother with way too much work. She doesn't physically see them anymore, but will still send them money sometimes. She was pretty good at both the violin and piano in school, but generally doesn't play anymore. She usually tells people she came from a rich respectable middle western family that had a tragic incident. This is a combination of her being ashamed of her past and not wanting anyone in her current life to mix with her past


Personality: Holly always looks out for number one. While she's sociable, and loves a good party, when worst comes to worst, she looks out for herself. She likes to play cute and innocent sometimes, depending on what mood she's in. She's great at lying and generally apathetic towards the people she hurts; she still has a very "eat or be eaten" view on life despite not being in the inner city for five years. She's also very flirty, and smiles too much, but is rarely genuinely happy. She doesn't trust anyone and is a little paranoid, but tries not to show it.


Company: The Zeppelin


Preferred Weapons/Methods: Flirting to get information is a favorite of hers. She has drugged drunk men trying to hit on her several times. She also uses the fact that she's typically underestimated and always carries a pistol when she can get away with it. Just in case.


Fun Facts:


-When she was known as Alexis, she was in a street gang called "the Black Tigers"


-She tries to avoid killing when she can, but it doesn't haunt her if she feels she needs to


-She doesn't play music as much anymore because she associates it with her past life


-Her siblings don't know about the money she sends home and thinks she ran away with a boyfriend that got her pregnant.


-She renamed herself after a stripper who inspired her to get out of Chicago

Name: Feitan (The Gun) Curtis

History: Feitan never knew anything about his original family, being left at an orphanage only one month old. When he was in the orphanage he didn't fit in too well, there was the no good delinquents who caused trouble and never got adopted, the good ones gone bad after not being adopted for so long, and the ones who run away or off themselves before they have a chance at the real world. Being a rather kind individual, he was never in trouble as he didn't cause any, or so the director believed. Having a sly tongue he was able to get himselfout f any position or trouble he found himself in, and with quick little hands he was barely caught when he stole someones wallet from their pockets. Eventually once he was old enough to leave the Orphanage, he did so without turning back and quickly found himself in with the Zeppelin. He was known amongst the group as "The Gun" because of his sharpshooting.


Personality: With a kind personality and a very sly tongue he can find his way into any location no problem, making him a prime candidate for obtaining information. With just a change of the outfit he can have all eyes on him, or be completely hidden.


Company: Zeppelin - Used as a hired gun, though does manual labor for fun, but is well known with the higher-ups for his shooting.


Preferred Weapons/Methods: His main weapon of choice is a M107 sniper rifle, capable of firing well over several 'Klicks'. He also carries two Walther CCP pistols which are muzzled for a quiet shot.


Fun Facts: He looks rather amazing in a suit.


Other: You hear a shot And Turn Around but you made the wrong choice, the sound reflected and the Sniper is in-front of you.

History: Convel belongs to a family where he is the 5th in line for the head of the household, each of his brothers have gone on their own way of adventure leaving convel to care for there ill father but on the 3rd day they were attacked when he was out for a meeting and his house was set ablaze with the his mother and father inside luckly some of the servents saved his father but his mother died protecting their escape witch led him to this city of the men who did this, but for 2 years he found nothing and since he just up and refused any money from his father he even refused his brothers help saying this was his fault and he will hunt the man who killed their mother and on the same note he had found them but was ambushed and left to die but was lucky saved by some people who later ended up telling him that he could stay with them till he was ok but in the end he ended up join the group when he opened up to them and let them no his reason for being here and then they offered him a way to make money and to be able to rely on people who he doesn't need to make atonement too and like that Convel found another family in a time of need and its name was "The Articulated"


Personality: calm, and hot headed at the same time he always give brotherly advice to people when they seem down, he also is very stubborn

Preferred Weapons/Methods: likes to use a variety of ways depending on the person and locations but in the end if can get them alone he always uses his bow and arrow for a silent kill from the shadows but the arrow is the real problem cause it also sprays a liquid when it hits the mark and immediately com busts into fire causing whatever it hit turn into a raging fire


( he carries a bunch of small hidden daggers the size of his hand and twin knives on his back waist witch he uses for close combat, carries 30 small daggers at all time )


Fun Facts: he has a secret garden full of tea plants, exotic roses and medical plants for when he goes on a mission or just some bad cut or infections even some for stress. he likes to make tea all the time so his house always smells of different tea plants and pasteurizes


Other: he also is a master chef but loves to bake more then anything, also shy around alpha woman...and turn around

History: Growing up in a little village Joel found a limited amount of entertainment to be had. Most of the other children would play outside in the street but something was different about him, his mind was not satisfied with simplistic forms of fun - he craved something which he could apply himself to more. One of the few things which satisfied his hungry brain was thinking and listening, as odd as it may seem he found it almost like a challenge, unwrapping people's minds to understand them with ease. Psychology was something he found truly fascinating, whether it be in sorrow or joy each decision enraptured the young boy - his ability to listen in on conversations had been practiced for years so by the time he became a teen Joel's ability to remain undetected became exceptional, he even got himself in trouble with the law just to watch them trying to find him, all the while remaining right under their noses to hear every word of confusion. A number of police documents were filled on this and it wasn't long before the Ruby Syndicate chanced upon them and contacted Joel, he of course accepted and began to train until he became 18 when it was decided that he should become a fully-fledged member of the company.


Personality: He despises teamwork in most cases, often finding allies to hinder him rather than help - this makes him very anti-social, however, he is often willing to talk to people one-to-one but don't expect much out of him unless you get to know him well. Often considered quite lazy he goes about finding the easiest ways to accomplish his goals which isn't always a bad thing but can sometimes irritate people. Due to his study of the human mind Joel can shut off all emotions for short periods of time by will, this will however cause all the emotion which has been prevented to be released at the end of the mental meditation.


Company: Ruby Syndicate - Mainly spies and avoids hurting/killing others but if forced to, will do.


Preferred Weapons/Methods: Usually preferring non-lethal methods of removing threats such as tranquilizers or chloroform he is sometimes forced into defending himself, in close quarters he has two knives hidden up each sleeve which are made of an alloy undetectable by most metal detectors and a cigarette lighter which is actually a small gun with 4 shots - he likes to switch up the item from time to time however.


Fun Facts:


He enjoys playing games from time to time - mainly free roam style ones, and always as a rogue.


Still watches anime... (He has a soft side for cute things)

To answer your question @Maeve Valor (Can't reply without merging for some reason) I don't usually do this but it's the concept of me being in that role rather than being someone else in that role. It's a fairly realistic setting and therefore allows me to incorporate myself into an imaginary setting which is something I don't usually have the opportunity to do as compared with most of the role playing I have done in the past which is mainly on fantasy games such as WoW where I can't make me a part of my story. History: Convel saved this little guy when he went out in a mission he found" snake" when he was a baby and was nourished to a young age where a snake tried to eat him, Convel found the young ferret eating a garden snake with a broke paw from then on he earned the name "snake" and he goes on every mission with Convel witch helps him sneak in or gather Intel easier


Personality: acts childesh and is very fiendish


Preferred Weapons/Methods: his teeth and claws, he uses a small screw driver like blade to pick locks and open things.


Fun Facts: he loves fruits and meats and even drinks tea with Convel out of his own cu even hides UNDER YOUR NOSE sometimes

History: Hunter was a charismatic child by nature, for he wasn't necessarily raised by parents, more so by thugs. Hunter met the thugs not by coincidence, but by repeated exposure. The thugs loitered outside his apartment everyday, and at some point Hunter got brave and said hello. This caused a chain of events he couldn't have imagined, soon Hunter, better known as Sly now, was pushed into the organization of the Zeppelin. Now with a group of thugs under him, Sly is the newest member of the Zeppelin.


Personality: Hunter is a caring and sympathetic individual, despite his job. Charming, sarcastic, and funny is his personality summed up. While Hunter makes friends easily he still holds a childhood shyness towards girls. All in all he is a confident character, not one to fight, but one to take your secrets in the mean time.

Preferred Weapons/Methods: Using alcohol and drugs to get information out, hacking computers or phones, and when worse comes to worse a taser glove is his best friend.


Fun Facts: Has yet to kill someone, has yet to fight someone, and has a weak spot for girls.

Name: Virgil Black


Appearance:

Virgil is a well built man of lithe muscle and caramel skin and hair of a raven color. His eyes are a piercing green.


Age: 18


History: Virgil grew up in the slums with only his older brother for a few years. Before his brother was killed for stealing from a larger than normal street boss. He was only six years old at the time, one of the assailants took Virgil in under his guard wanting to use him originally as bait and a source for info. Over the years of abuse and constant lying to a fro Virgil become very well versed in lying and deception. So good in fact he convinced the leader's own soldiers into revolting against him. With the confusion and dismay Virgil would make his way to escape going off the live on his own mooching, lying, stealing, and killing. Upon his journeys of doing so he took up the art of Muay Thai, learning it from what he could, the windows of schools or stolen dvd's he'd find. He was a natural at fighting and the learning of this art come easily for him. Though he is no master it'd be very unwise to approach him in hand-to-hand combat.


Personality: He's always been an odd person, he just seems off but if a person is around him enough they'd start to realize he wasn't all too bad. Don't get on his bad side however he holds grudges and fight others about it.


Company: Zeppelin - A saboteur who's a well versed killer, mostly known for his skill in hand to hand combat and accuracy with knives.


Preferred Weapons/Methods: Steel cestus (Black steel) or throwing knives about four inches in length, razor sharp.

History: From a young age, it was already evident that she could be extremely persuasive and manipulative. She managed to persuade all her friends to pay for all her expenses including, food, clothes and transport. This led to expulsion from numerous schools. Her parents were constantly travelling, contacting her once every few months to wish her Happy Birthday and such. This was never a problem for Mimi. Her only interest was the money she mooched off her peers and the control she gained over them. Though she dropped out of school at the age of 15, by then she was already in a working position as a receptionist. Barely a month later, she was CEO of the little laundry company. Skipping to present day, she has tired of that company and has instead joined ranks of The Zeppelin.


Personality: Underneath a sweet and playful exterior lies a cunning, conniving mind whose requests and demands are like those of a spoilt child. She's cute and she knows it, using her appearance to mooch money and information from her peers. She acts affectionate and innocent, often faking naivety to obtain what she wants. She is not used to be turned down or dismissed so when it happens, she loses her temper very quickly, lashing out verbally with threats of losing jobs or in severe cases, death. Again, due to her childlike demeanour, she is easily pleased and enjoys the company of others.

Preferred Weapons/Methods: Due to her small figure, she prefers daggers or blow darts but those are normally last resort. She is most talented and persuading and manipulating people to do her bidding and/or dirty work.


Fun Facts: She has a weakness for cookies.


-Though she constantly tells herself that she didn't need family, she still feels lonely at times.


-She hates her baby face and height


-She has a tendency to throw tantrums and sulk


-She is easily scared but knows how to hide it or even obliterate her fear if required


-She is still a virgin but has almost been violated multiple times by old men. Due to that she now has a slight fear of old people.

Name: Athena Mars


Appearance:

Age: 22 years old


History: She grew up as an orphan, finally getting adopted at the age of 12 years old in order to become the next in line for the Mars business. The leading head. Ayres was taught how to attend formal business parties and what to do to get along with everyone. The woman lies almost everyday through life as if it was natural, not faltering on her words. Ayres went through private schools with the best tutors her parents could find, when she wasn't needed she was brought to her room. When it was time for breakfast/lunch/dinner she would eat in the dining room with both foster parents: with business as the main topic.


Unfortunately Ayres decided to work for the Zeppelin company, causing both parents to lose all contact with her; they haven't contacted her since she was 18 years old.


Personality: Ayres is a hyper girl who likes to laugh and smile, it was what she did. Even though she knew it was wrong, some times she enjoys the deception she made in life. The feeling of creating something new life that she 'belongs' to. She trains on her physical abilities whenever she can, all the while making sure she looks innocent and elegant. Childish is also a good example of her, she doesn't like taking things to seriously or she'll get bored quickly. If things don't apply to her, she tends not to help out unless she likes you. Ayres may have a wonderful memory but she didn't enjoy remembering things that were useless to her, it was a waste of time.


What makes Ayres happy? Destroying or shooting something, it makes her feel a better most of the time.


Company: Zeppelin


Preferred Weapons/Methods: She is great with hand-to-hand combat, her flexibility and speed helped a lot. Ayres likes to use pressure points to end fights quickly instead of carrying things out. Ayres owns two Wakizashi's that are hidden behind her, two guns (one up her thigh, a mini-gun around her ankle)


Fun Facts: She likes candy, animals are her weakness, Ayres is quiet around children (finds it awkward). She's always wanted a snake, she likes to collect old and expensive weapons that are still intact. She doesn't like spiders.

History:


Olive grew up moving from one foster home to the next after being taken away at the small age of five. Hitting her young teenage years she was finally in a steady home with parents that had planned to adopt her, though that changed when her grades began to slip and she began partying. She was thrown back into the destructive fucked up foster care system. She was never in one time for more than a year.


At the age of seventeen, she finally had enough of everything and was ready for her own change. She ran away with a man who promised her riches, wealth, and sex. Three things that were only on her mind. A man who she called Mr. RS. The risk of everything she was doing kept her constantly with him. Though when she turned Eighteen all of her worries seemed to fall apart. As she became a larger part of this mans life.

Olive is all but put together. She has no self respect for herself, constantly showing her body off, though she is quite loyal and honest with everything she has to say. Sociopathic could be used to describe her in a manner. She cares little about others health of well being. She isn't very in touch with her feelings. Crowds make her uncomfortable, and a bit more angered. She has a problem with blowing up at people and being impatient.

History: Rezso was born into poverty, living with his immigrant parents and two brothers. Him being the youngest. His father, fearing for his sons that one day they might die by the hands of a murderer, taught Rezso the ways of Eskrima. He grew up having to fighting for the many things he can't afford. At a young age of 12, Rezso was already a criminal, having been arrested for armed robbery and assault on an officer. Many times his parents scolded him and wanted nothing to do with a commen thug. This lead to him finding a group known as "Zeppelin".


Personality: Rezso is a laid back individual who is always caught sleeping at the wrong times. He's quick to anger and is often the one to throw the first punch.
