blue tea
may you look up and meet tenderness
i should never have cared, but i did. i cared a lot. and i still fucking care. never would have thought i'd get this attached, damnit.
oh? sweetheart, you can't break
HIS BLUE-TINTED HUES SHIFTED TO STARE at the male who’d just entered. His brow rose at the loud statement, hiding a snicker behind a scoff. He watched the other ogle over the statues who he’d just flipped off prior to the other arriving. He had a feeling he’d fucked up, but the male could have cared less. Sue him for wanting to curse his father to the damn moon. The asshole deserves it. He’d admit that out loud if someone asked. He had no problems with that. Consequences be damned. He’d take them with his head held high, damnit.
He blinked, head cocked. “Huh? Fuck no.” He shook his head. “I’m not Axel.” He leaned further into his right hip, arms crossed against his muscular chest. “I’m waiting for the dumbass to show his face unless this is some sick joke to kill us all.” He grumbled. He wasn’t an optimistic, okay? It was a decent plan if that were the case. Gathering the last of the demi-gods to finish them. He huffed, eye twitching in annoyance. He could do with a fight. The tension built up within his frame was screaming to be released and beheading a few monsters sounded far more pleasing than standing here like sitting ducks.
He huffed, reaching to pinch the bridge of his nose. His left eye twitched in exasperated. He jerked his head at the sound of voices, hand reaching for his curved sword that rested in its sheath. His frame tensed in anticipation, gaze flickering towards the other.
He might not know the asshole, but Azure had no intentions of not protecting them. He’d regret it later if the other turned into some hideous creature, but for now Azure focused on the potential threat.
He bit back a snarl at the unstable ground. His muscles tensed, balancing himself to stay upright. He dutifully noted the multiple shrieks. For fuck sakes. If the Gods needed saving they sure as hell had a shitty way of expressing their gratitude. Assholes.
His midnight blue hues narrowed at the tape recorder falling out from within the Hermes statue. His brow rose in question. Eh? His maw opened only to pause at the voice that echoed from it. So that’s Axel. He grumbled. Of course. The stranger didn’t even have the decency to show himself.
Azure shuffled, crouching low to listen to the tape recorder. His hands resting lazily between his thighs while his black trench coat flooded around him, hiding his frame from view. His head cocked, drawing a snort out of him at the easy part. Fan-fucking-tastic. He let out a rumble that vibrated deep within his chest, eyes brightening at the mention of weapons. His left hand shifted to brush against the sword clasped to his belt loops. He had no intentions of finding more. The ones that rested against his frame were a familiar feeling that brought comfort despite being inanimate objects of metal.
The recording ended leaving Azure to bark out a laugh. His hand reaching to run through his raven-hued locks. “Well, that’s fucking great.” He growled. The sound low and guttural that vibrated within his throat. He stood to his full height, hands shoved in his pockets. His head lowered adoring an off-putting grin on ivory-hued lips. “Olympus, huh?”
His hues gradually bled to a brighter shade of royal azure. He glanced at the group a little way off from him. His lips tugged into a frown. He sure as hell didn’t know them and the thought of going on a road trip with a bunch of strangers wasn’t pleasing. He rumbled in annoyance. He didn’t really have a choice, did he? The man had nothing better to do than wallow in self-pity and wait until his body gave out.
His head cocked, listening to the banging echoes throughout the forest. His lips tugged into a sneer. “Seems it pissed something off.” He quipped. His voice barely audible.
Damn. He rolled his shoulders, listening to the audible pops and cracks. He hadn’t had a good fight in a while. His hues darkened to a midnight-hue with a feral grin plastered across ivory-hued lips.
