hi there! welcome to my humble search for death note partners. i'm twenty+ and go by any pronouns, with around a decade's worth of rp experience! please read this thread in this entirety before reaching out! unformatted version below.

— keep in mind!
- you must be eighteen+, i would like to to remain true to the source material by including the same themes in our thread (death, organized crime, etc.) & don't feel comfortable writing that stuff with minors.
- i consider myself a novella writer but am flexible & willing to mirror length! as long as we keep things multi-para, i'm game. need samples? just ask!
- please be patient with me. i tend to reply sporadically ic but am very active ooc to chat. this is a hobby, not my job, so i'd never rush you & expect the same courtesy in return.
- i adore befriending my rp partners! long-term is preferred for this reason; i love to yap, headcanon for hours, etc. so if you're the same way then i'm your guy! we won't get along if you're not willing to communicate or give me dry responses lol.
- canon-divergence is a must. not only do the original events of the story leave little room for post-canon development (with canon characters) but i'm also a fan of coming up with our own whacky, unique plots.
- i'm not interested in doing slice-of-life or extreme fluff unless we do smaller spin-off or text/banter threads for the sillies! ideally, romance would be a side focus.
- discord highly preferred, i'm not active on site to do a roleplay on here and remember to check i fear...

- i'm a dn fiend and have consumed every piece of media out there (manga is my favorite btw), but if you're anime only, that's okay too! i'm very flexible & open to doing whatever :] just no canon x canon please, it's not my thing lol.
- canon x oc: i'm looking for light, mello, matt, or mikami. doubling friendly, i can play anyone in return except for light & sayu.
- oc x oc: maybe?? if we can come up with a big cast of cool characters!
