I still liked 'em, though. one had black lace on the handle and a butterfly on the back of the blade, the other had pink and white stripes on the handle with a bunny top and hearts on the blade.   On the surface, Kaito doesn't appear like he would be a half bad guy. Sociable, friendly, he seems like the type of person that would have a lot of friends. Really, he has trouble forming actual bonds with people unless he thinks that it'll benefit him in the long run. Despite this, he's generally polite and playful around most people, just in case they ever could come in handy so that he's not burning a bridge before he knows if he needs it later. He doesn't have any dislike toward other people, in fact, it's quite the opposite- He's extremely extroverted and loves to spend his time around other people. He just doesn't feel the need to have any close bonds with the people around him, and feels like most of them are completely expendable.
  
  His sense of humour ranges from dry to just plain gruesome, which makes him the type of person most people wouldn't want trying to joke around with. He also really, really enjoys puns, and tends to make utterly cringe worthy ones at completely inappropriate times.
  
  He hasn't recovered from the situation that lead to his death. Currently, he's still really jumpy whenever anything loud happens near him, and is more submissive than he would normally be. Contrary to his normal demeanor, he's currently hesitant to be around other people (which, considering just how extroverted he is, is currently taking more of a toll on him mentally), and he's having trouble trusting other people to be around him.
  
  In the long run, he's probably neither the hero Gotham needs nor deserves, but here he is.
  
  Background: Kaito was raised by two lesbians, one of whom was actually his biological mother. Really, that was the most noteworthy part of his early childhood; he was homeschooled up until middle school, due to the fact that his parents didn't want other kids picking on him because he looked strange and was always wearing long sleeves. It got more difficult to continue homeschooling him as he got older, though, and he was also kind of lonely with only his parents around him frequently, so they decided it would be best to enroll him in school.
  
  He wasn't picked on as much as they feared he would be, and his friendly behavior meant that he was on good terms with most of the other students, but even back then he had trouble forming bonds with people other than the women who had raised him. Still, Middle School and High School passed by like they do for most people- slowly and filled with teen angst. He managed to get a couple girlfriends and boyfriends here and there, but the fact was that he wasn't really into most of the people he dated and the relationship never lasted.
  
  To people who knew how he only really considered other people tools, the fact that sometime after he graduated highschool he found himself working as a gun for hire wouldn't come as a surprise. Instead of a normal job, he found himself killing people for cash, and was completely content with living life like that so long as nobody wanted him to harm somebody he liked. Given that there were few people he actually trusted and cared for, this wasn't really a problem that cropped up.
  
  This was also what lead to his death- One slip up while on the job, and, instead of leaving a corpse, he found himself faced with an angry gang. Apprehending one small guy was no problem for them, and they kept him alive for a while, though he's still unsure why they didn't just kill him right off the bat. For what he's sure was several weeks, they put him through hell and back only to decide that they were going to keep him alive for a while longer. In the end, when they decided that it was time they'd stop, that they were bored of him, and left him with just deep enough an injury that he would bleed to death there on the floor.
  
  Extra: He really likes balloons, Like, this guy fucking loves balloons. He loves anywhere that has a section of pre-blown up balloons for sale.
  
  Due to the circumstances leading up to his death, he has a tendency to flinch if anybody moves too quickly toward him. In addition, being restrained scares him, and will quickly cause a panic attack if he's not let go.

Impression of Amalgamated Reaping Society(Death Inc): "Kinda reminds me a lot of the society in the game called 'Peace, Death!' but a lot more than just sending people to the right places...Pretty neat!"

Reason for Accepting Reaping Position: "I don't really like getting Punished that much, plus reincarnation's pretty boring, too...I mean, it's quite obvious which one I would pick if I have to choose between getting my ass kicked for like, eternity or kicking some monster ass...Sure, there's that Reaper job to do, but... Heh! I can manage!"

A Recently graduated High school student who spends her time playing video games and attempts to make a living on Youtube while hustling along with College. He basically lived a nice and peaceful life until he died saving the kid...Still begs the question on why he did it since she, herself just felt the urge to do so...Maybe it just felt like the right thing to do.

Yup, Aria had a simple life. Simple....

Personality

Aria is very thoughtful and considerate, she never thought of herself first before. She loves baking and always makes everyone lunch in her home including making her boyfriend and best friend's lunches. She just loves to cook and bake. When angered she walks away because she doesn't want to hurt others' feelings so she doesn't confront them about the cause of her anger.
