INTRODUCTION . ☆彡
I'm a little awkward with starting introductions, so let's get the basics out of the way—I'm Dean, nineteen years old, he/him pronouns. Time zone is PST. I've been roleplaying on-and-off since middle school. I don't know my exact word count, but I usually write three to five paragraphs.
RULES . ☆彡
─ ✶ The quality of the writing itself matters more than the length. That being said, the length still does matter, and I don't roleplay with people who use one-liners or similar lackluster responses.
─ ✶ I'm uncomfortable with doing romantic roleplays with minors, so I ask that my partners be 18+. For roleplays that have no romantic element, I'm okay with my partners being as young as 16, but I don't have any interest in non-romance roleplays at the moment.
─ ✶ I can't roleplay with someone who has terrible grammar. A few minor mistakes aren't an issue, but if your writing is chock-full of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors, that's a deal-breaker for me.
─ ✶ I'm really only interested in queer pairings. I have a preference for m/m because I generally prefer to play male characters, but I'm also more than happy to do f/f pairings.
─ ✶ I'm a sucker for cute, fluffy romances. However, there still needs to be angst and drama! We need a balance. The sad moments will make the happy moments all the more sweet.
─ ✶ You don't have to use a face claim for your character, as long as you have a sufficient description of their appearance. However, if you do, please use a real actor to portray them. No drawn face claims.
─ ✶ I'll sometimes lose all motivation to roleplay, and will go months without replying. However, unless I tell you that I'm no longer interested in the roleplay, please trust that I'll come back eventually.
─ ✶ I also expect people to tell me when they don't want to roleplay anymore. I'm not ghost-friendly, sorry.
PLOTS . ☆彡
Character A, a best-selling author, is struggling with a severe case of writer's block. They decide to take a summer trip to a small beachside town, in the hopes that the change in scenery and break from their hectic city life will help inspiration hit.
There, they meet Character B, a laid-back and friendly local who offers to show them around town. They become fast friends and as the two of them spend more time together, love starts to blossom.
— This can be either m/m or f/f.
— The characters are meant to be in their early to mid 30s.
— I'm alright with playing either character.
— I imagined this being set in the late 90s or early 2000s, but it can also be modern times. I'm not too picky about the time period.

I'm gonna be real with you, dude: that one plot is the only one I have right now. I'll add more when I think of some.
