Notes on Characters Remember that no characters branch of sin will be unstoppable – it can be nearly unbeatable through training and practice but I don’t want to see any characters with abilities like Shiro’s/Wretched Egg’s. You have the choice of creating up to three characters but the third must be an enemy character. It is encouraged to make also a standard prisoner but otherwise I will make neutral characters. You can choose either a branch of sin from the original series and add some extra abilities to it OR create your own. Have fun with it! Please put down everything listed in the character sheet provided below. I will also keep a running list of branches of sins that people have claimed and/or the character from the original series it is similar to. Please, try to make a nickname for the branch of sin; example, Ganta Gun; Crow Claw (but no worries if you can’t/don’t). Any questions on characters, please ask in the OCC thread. Remember: Bold is used when characters are "approved" and Italics is used when we state "in progress of approval."

Branch of Sin Abilities and Power Details: His snake sin can inject a poison which can explode. The snake does not disappear after injecting and he can manipulate the snake as he pleases. He can have more then one depending on the size, the size also matters how much of a boom is in the bite.


His wire work a lot like webs. He slits his wrist and from there he can shoot out the blood (Think spider man xD ). He can manipulate the wires as he sees fit. Meaning he can use them as a whip, he can snare, cut, and make them stick to surfaces. He is capable of changing his wire into a snake at any given moment.

Hair Color & Style: Her dark chocolate brown hair is pulled into a neat braid off to the right with bangs/a part off to the right as well. The left side of her head is shaved. She wears it down at times, still swept to the right. Near her left ear, wear the sideburn touches the bridge of the flap, there is a small tattoo of a thrush in flight. She got this recently after her nickname was given by the other inmates.


Attire Wearing in Wonderland: She wears a black, long-sleeve shirt that cuts off at the midriff; tight camouflage-green colored pants with a high-rise waist; and shin-high laced leather boots. Often times she is in the G-Block gym wearing black capris and a sport-workout shirt with short sleeves.

Branch of Sin Abilities and Power Details: Reload: Instead of constantly losing blood like other Deadman, she has the ability to "retrieve" her blood she lost by reaching out to it. Meaning, when her attacks are blocked and the blood is spattered about, she can remove it from the surface(s) and reuse it or let it seep back into her body. Although, at first this was a slow process while she still practiced and trained. In this sense, it gives her the ability to use blood without cutting herself but rather it seeps through her pores.


Sever: She can still manipulate her blood from various locations on her body and turn the strands into scythes of various sizes but this wears her out if she combines it with bringing her blood back. She is also very agile, flexible, and strong, and resorts to using her body more often for defense to wear out opponents before striking them with her branch.

Additional Information/Background: Before she was brought to Wonderland, she studied law and psychology at university but since the Red Hole Earthquake she ceased her career of choice when Japan went into ruin. She also met her fiancée at university and planned their wedding in Europe. Unfortunate events within the streets of broken Japan ensued and her fiancée was murdered by thugs. Rikako’s fiancée hid her whereabouts and nearly her existence from them before they brutally killed him. She was founded by the Wonderland system and brought in at the age of fifteen. She still wears her engagement ring but on the right ring-finger.

Hatred: Gareki's blood will suddenly take a darker shade, close to black, and it will wrap around if hands, making some sort of claws. His vision will be filled with a red shade, not letting him see, and that's why he puts on his goggles, since his eyes will spill some blood. The claws are nearly razor-sharp, and they can cut as swiftly as passing a razor trough wool.


Arachnid: This is the best card under his sleeve, his eyes will turn a bright white, and his blood will become like his third hand. It will wrap around his back, making a series of 4 sharp long legs, like those of a spider, and their points sharper than a newly sharpened knife. He can use these to climb, or block and attack other attacks.

Branch of Sin Abilities and Power Details: Instead of an outward display of blood, Kisuke's power is completely internal. Similar to blood doping, once his power is activated he experiences heightened stamina and endurance. Due to the clearer blood flow, his brain is able to process outside stimuli faster than before, thus increasing his reflexes. The most notable effect, and the main ability lies within his eyes however. The blood changes his iris color to a blood red, but more so to the point, Kisuke gains a blood sense. His vision changes, allowing him to see the blood stream clearly, this with his heightened senses allowing him to almost predict incoming attacks. This isn't without its drawbacks however. Due to the increased blood flow, even a minor cut can cause more blood loss than usual. Extended use of his power will also cause his eyes to start to bleed, hence the name. The effects of Crimson Eyes can also be reversed to slow down bleed outs, but will significantly lower his physical actions depending on the severity of injuries.

  Additional Information/Background: He was moved from a different facility to Deadman Wonderland due to an 'accident' with other inmates. He's pretty harmless, though he will fight if needed. He's patient, and confusing. Often bullied. (He also is a bit crazy, and refers to himself in the 3rd person.)

He sticks to classy outfits, mostly elegant dresses. Things styled from the Victorian or renaissance era with frills or ruffles that is easy to move in.

He can form dolls with his blood. They are usually no bigger then 2'5 and faceless with special qualities. Each connected to him by a single strand of his blood. Some have large mouths with razor sharp teeth and others have blades instead of hands. As a last resort he can form one or two large dolls though these are slightly slower.


He can also use normal dolls to spie. when he fills their eyes with his blood he can use them as spies.


Additional Information/Background:


At age 8 He killed his abusive family except his older brother and was sent to an orphanage, they couldn't find out who killed his family. At age 13 he snapped and killed everyone in the orphanage, his older brother helped. He pleaded guilty and was put in DW. He has been there for 2 years.

He uses a blade that he carries on him to cut his lower back where his blood forms tails. He can form up to 13 depending on how long and how far he is whipping them. He can use them in both close and far range attacks and can even shield himself with them.


Additional Information/Background:


At age 10 He killed his abusive family except his younger brother and was sent to an orphanage, they couldn't find out who killed his family. At age 15 he snapped and killed everyone in the orphanage, his little brother helped. He pleaded guilty and stood in front of the judge and jury with a maniacal grin and stated " Ya I killed all those snot nosed bratty ass orphans. They shouldn't have touched my little brother." Branch of Sin Abilities and Power Details: He can drink blood to replenish his own supply. Normally he can use his branch of sin twice before having to refill. All he has to do is open his mouth and sort of will the blood into his mouth thought it has to be loose blood in order for him to just call it to his mouth. Other wise he can get blood vampire style or be reckless and bit someone's branch of sin.


His blood solidifes and forms a pair of dragon like wings and a dragon like tail. The wings have a span of 16 feet and the way the scales are placed anything that hits the wings will actually slide off this way his wings aren't taking the bulk of damage as such it's very hard to destroy them. The wings can he be used as razor sharp cutting blades. They can also be expanded by the scales opening up and expanding(like how Senji can expans his blades.) He can also create razor or whirlwinds with his wings and send them at his opponents. He can also fly.


The tail's form though solid and can be changed at anytime to fit a variety of purposes. Just like the wings the tail can also extend itself by opening the scales but normally the tail can reach about 20 feet.

Name: Thane Riecher/deadman

Eye Color: A permanent dark red


Attire: He has a favorite black jacket with a hood lined with an orangish red fur(where he partially gets fox from). He also wears a black dress shirt and dark jeans faded at the bottom. He has a pair of expensive black dress shoes.


Branch of Sin: Crimson Crescent: From his blood he creates disks of different sizes with razor sharp edges. He can slightly control them while they are in the air but it does take most of his attention. He can attach a thin strand of blood to the disks for added control but it stops him from throwing them as far.


Blade Splatter: He can make the disks explode into a shower of razor sharp blades.


Background: I prefer to have it come out through the story.

Name: Yukinoshita Hagewashi

Hair Color & Style: Her silver hair is long and unkempt.


Attire Wearing in Wonderland: She is always seen wearing a black tracksuit, black skirt, black combat boots, and fingerless black gloves. Her clothes always has bloodstains on it, though most of it isn't hers. She puts on metal finger claws, which resembles talons, during her matches, which she uses to draw out her blood and to attack her opponent.


Branch of Sin Name(s): Valkyrie & Carrion


Branch of Sin Abilities and Power Details:


Valkyrie: Yukinoshita sprouts two pairs of huge, vulture wings with a wingspan of 10 feet. The wings not only enables her to fly, it is also capable pf protecting her from bullets and other projectiles, although it is less effective against projectiles used by Deadman's. This Branch of Sin can also be used offensively in two ways. One is by shooting feathers at her opponent, moving at the same velocity as a bullet but much deadlier, and the other is by using them at close range since the wings are sharp enough to cut through steel. It is an effective tool for offense and defense, although since it tends to use up too much blood, Yukinoshita won't be able to keep using this ability for more than 15 minutes, which of course is more than enough time for her to finish her opponent.


Carrion: Unlike her first ability, Carrion is not as deadly, although it is by no means useless. She spits out a mist of blood which spreads across a wide area. It obstructs the vision of those caught in it,. But that is not the only effect of Carrion. The sight is not the only sense which is hindered by this ability. The mist stinks of a two week old corpse and to top it off, the mist is warm and sticky, which to be honest is really disgusting. Because of these sensory obstruction, it gives Yukinoshita more opportunities to attack.


Additional Information/Background: Unlike some of the residents of G-Block, Yukinoshita wasn't subjected to an unfair trial, All of the charges against her were all true, and in fact, that was not all she did. There was always something wrong in her head, this fact became apparent to her parents when she slitted the throat of their pet cat because it refused to play with her. Well, not that her parents can do anything about it, they're fast asleep, although Yukinoshita would have to change the bedsheets tomorrow since it got messy. Over the years, she have committed countless of hideous crimes for nothing more than amusement and to ease her boredom. She have abducted countless of people, only women although no one knows why, maybe because their screams are more pleasant to the ears. She would torture them in countless of ways, and of course, once she got bored, it's time to eat. Once her 6 year reign of terror ended when she was caught, the bodies of her victims have been gnawed and chewed beyond recognition. Even when she entered Deadman Wonderland, her cannibalistic practice didn't end. In fact, it's one of the most awaited events in her matches, the sadistic sponsors eagerly watched as she commenced her feast, her meal sometimes still living and screaming. Some of the sponsors prefer this over the punishment game, but of course they cannot impose this rule on the other Deadman, making Yukinoshita one of a kind. Despite her fearsome reputation, she isn't invincible. She has been known to lose a few games, her missing left eye is a proof to that.

Personality: She is very calm and collected even if all of deadman wonderland was burning she wouldn't freak. Though one thing that can change her usually hard exterior is the smell of blood, the sight of death, the sound of pain, feel of killing, and the taste of utter despair. When this happens she can't stop smiling and laughing she will go after any target till it is reached or she is called off. She sometimes goes out of her way to torment the deadman when she can. Though when she is not slaughtering she is pretty fun loving. She likes music and always has headphones blasting it into her ears. She loves board games and is not a sore loser. She also won't say no to some sweets. She sometimes burst into random fits of laughter, but hey...she's insane so what did you expect?


Worm Eater Weapon: Easier to explain with....pictures!!!

She has the scythe with her 24/7 and the whip is around her waist. She also has fingerless gloves that are embedded with the worm eater. Also she uses her red ribbons to strangle people they are her secret weapon since they look so harmless.

In her case she has hair spray, small knives, candy, handmade explosives, and more!.

History: The Bloody Petals were a very notorious gang and she was happy to be a part of it. She was trained at a very young age to kill and laugh about it which obviously made her very mentally unstable. She was very skilled in fighting, killing and tourturing before she turned fifteen.


When she turned fifteen the head of her family made a huge mistake and ended up getting everyone in her family killed right in front of her. She had no clue how to handle this and went insane going on a terrible killing spree.


When she was finally caught she was sent to an asylum for who knows how long. After the Great Tokyo earthquake the asylum was left in ruins and she was stuck in an annoying straight jacket but she was free. When she was able to get out of the jacket (Houdini disciple!). She wandered around having no purpose making her incapable of showing any emotion.


One day when she was attacked by a group of men who tired to rape her. She fought back and with her bare hands kill half of the men. Too bad for her one of them happened to carry a branch of sin. However before any permanent physical damage could be done someone killed the deadman. This someone was Genkoku seeing her potential and the fact she had no other use in the outside word he brought her to Deadman wonderland where she finally could smile as blood and suffering was everywhere!

Additional Information/Background: Juushiro is the man you go to when you want anything from the outside or inside, whether the prison's antidotal candy or a simple porn mag from Tokyo... of course, it's for a price. Nobody asks how he gets them, either not caring enough to or being too scared of the answer. The guards seem to even be less hostile towards him. Naturally, they still go full-force when the higher-ups are present, but it seems that even the guards have things they want. In this way, he commands respect, even amongst the highest of authorities and the Deadmen, and the former of the two still haven't figured out how he managed to smuggle that pony in despite all the sensors... But that's beside the point. The authorities and prison population keep from interrogating, killing, or otherwise harming him because, well... when you cut off a prisoner's only supply of outside paraphernalia, said prisoner tends to come after you.


"And lo, the Deadman pleaded with the master, Shiro. 'My master,' he said, kneeling before her in awe and reverence. 'Please bestow upon me a bean bun, that I may consume it and become enlightened.' Aegis- When cut, her blood spreads out in a fine mist around her, creating a dome of red mist three feet around her. When attacked, the mist will gather together into a disk to block the attack. Multiple disks can be created at once and have a razor edge, and can be launched. If the disks leave her three feet zone, she loses control of them.


Life Drain- No, she does not steal your life. She steals your blood. Any blood (not actively controlled by a Deadman) that enters her zone of control evaporates and joins her mist. If you bleed near her, she gets stronger.


Additional Information/Background:


- Kind, scatterbrained, and a little clumsy, even the people that she has fought tend to forget that she is one of the few strongest Deadmen in the Corpse Carnival, having lost only two fights thus far.


- Alicia came to DW already having a fairly good grasp on how to use her power.

Additional Information/Background: Nathan is known for being able to get rid of someone quickly inside the prison. Whether it be public in the dog races or late at night in their cell, he's able to get the job done. The prices are high but the results speak for themselves. He doesn't have any friends since they'd only be a hindrance to his work, plus if he worked with people that'd cut into his rewards(usually candy). He got into the prison for the same reason he has over 15 pieces of candy and he doesn't regret it at all.
