Personality: Zach is very independant and does his own thing besides being in the group. He has a dark sense of humor and is pretty sarcastic at times. He will do anything to protect the group first and put his life on the line.


History: Zach worked in a clothing store on the outskirts of town while going to school. He lived in an apartment with friends due to his low income and debt. When the infection started to spread, Zach and his friends gathered as many supplies as they could and held up in their apartment. Things were fine for about a week and a half before the walkers started to take over the apartment complex and theywere forced onto the roof of the building. They managed to make their way down onto the balcony of a lower room and tried to escape. Through the cramped halls, various items littered around, and other people trying to escape, only Zach made it out alive and ran as far away from the populated part of town as he could.


How they came to be with the group: A few days after barely escaping with his life and watching his friends die around him, he ran into the group in a minimart scavenging for supplies.


Other: Zach refers to the infected as rotters, due to their foul smell and tendency to decompose after turning. He carries around a backpack with various items to help survive and a fireaxe for a weapon.
