Just keep things short. I think most of us will know these characters already, and if not it's all just a google search away. Just as long as the One Year tab is detailed, and fits in with the lore I've set out.

Full Name: Simon Baz

Current Age: 25

Alias: Green Lantern

Former Aliases: White Lantern
simon.baz_.green_.lantern.loves_.Israel.jpg
Affiliations: Green Lantern Corps, The Titans

Brief History:
Simon Baz is a Lebanese-American Citizen born in Dearborn, Michigan. Simon and his family followed a strict Muslim heritage, and face plenty backlash for their beliefs, especially around the time of the 9/11 attack. Falling under intense suspicion and unfair judgement, Simon had to physically defend his younger sister, Sira Baz, from bullies on multiple occasions. Despite the hardships that surrounded him, Simon managed to graduate high school and university, gaining a degree in engineering and a job at an automotive plant. During the the financial crisis, Simon was unfortunately laid off from his job in spite of his utmost efficiency. In desperation to find a job, Simon took up illegal street racing, and suffered a major loss at his brother-in law's injury that was his fault. He'd put him in a coma. With the growing guilt, Simon grew more and more distant from his sister and family. Some time later, Simon went into stealing cars and re-selling their parts. In a series of unfortunate events, Baz had just happened to rob a car packed with explosives, raising awareness of police officers. He continued in a high speed chase before, suspected to be a terrorist before his capture. He was sent to Guantanamo Bay where his plea for innocence was simply ignored. Luckily, his will power and lack of giving up in the situation had attracted the sights of a defective green lantern ring (since repaired), and busted himself out of jail.

Brief Personality:
Simon is definitely one of the more unorganized, do-first, think-later members of the Titans. He's seen more as a loudmouthed, short-tempered, and stubborn man to name a few. Simon still retains anger management issues from before the ring, and at times overreacts and overworks himself for the smallest of things. He's stubborn, and always feels the need to prove himself, especially as a cause of his malfunctioning ring and nit-picking father, he's never had a point in life where people hadn't judged him for his actions or who he is and how it all came to be. Stemming mainly from his anger though, Simon reacts a lot based on emotion, whether he's sad, angered, in a good or bad mood often depends his overall efficiency with changes that can have drastic discrepancies in a situation.

What Happened In That Year:
In the year without the Justice League, Simon did much of growing up both as a Green Lantern and hero in general. The public eye have come to see him and Jessica Cruz as the main Green Lantern duo and protectors of earth. At first, picking up his mentor's work had never been much easy, but with time and learning from mistakes, he's become one of the more reliable heroes in Hal Jordan's former sector. He's been able to shed more light on religious bias, especially towards Muslims and others alike, and with his work as a hero, has released tension and judgement on citizens from Middle East Asian countries, as well as black men and women who follow his belief.

Full Name: Connor Hawke

Current Age:
24

Alias:
The Green Arrow

Former Aliases:
N/A

Affiliations:
Team Arrow

Brief History:
Conner Hawke is the illegitimate son of Oliver Queen and Sandra Hawke. At an early age, Conner was bullied for his conflicting appearance being half Caucasian, quarter Korean, and quarter African-American. The striking blonde hair, medium tan complexion and "squinted" eyes seemed enough to warrant constant name-calling and abuse in the school setting. His early life consisted of constant fighting, fighting to protect himself-- someone he never even knew yet, not without his father. Sandra Hawke was left distraught at what to do with her son. Being fed stories of his father's exploits and adventures, his willingness and bravery to lay his life down for others, Conner's admiration only grew more and more towards his father. Conner kept and read anything he could about his father. Due to being a single mother with a growing son, finding a job suitable of caring for the two of them seemed impossible for "Moonday" Hawke. Because of his problems at school, his mother signed off the papers needed for Conner to attend the same monastery his father once had. For years, he trained, and schooled at the monastery, mastering Akido close combat and Kyudo archery whilst suppressing or at least trying to suppress his ever growing passion for his father. Later, in a troubled time in Oliver Queen's career, the Emerald archer had returned to the monastery in hopes of finding peace in his life, and befriended the on he never knew he had. Ollie continued to train Conner both mentally and physically, and even six months in at an assassination attempt of Oliver Queen, the two were able to fend off the attacker who later committed suicide. Still, during this entire time, Conner awaited the right time to tell Oliver he was his son. Unfortunately, a possessed Hal Jordan had been the first to the task, and told Oliver of his secret son. Believing he was only plotting something against him, Oliver and Conner split up on bad terms, which only got worse when the Green Arrow also left for the inter-galactic war.

Brief Personality:
Conner is a determined, strong, and passionate hero who stops at nothing to meet the goal at heart, and in spite of him hating himself for it, is much like his father. He's been determined his whole life, to support his mother, to meet his father, and to have one day donned the cowl of the Green Arrow, all things he's accomplished now. Conner doesn't believe in destiny or a set future, and has an undying faith that if one tries, you're bound to succeed or get a little closer to it. At times, his determination might even turn into an obsession when fueled by emotion, and has at times changed drastically into something very unhealthy. As a person, Conner remains kind and uplifting, and is an easy person to talk to whether it be as friends or for support.

What Happened In That Year:
In that year, Conner relocated to Star City as the heir to Queen Industries. Since his employment as CEO (the youngest CEO of Queen Industries history, as well as Star City and other states as a whole at age 23), the business has only boomed, stretching products and affiliations all across the globe. The main audience of Queen Industries has also grown for children all the way to adults, and still deals for the government and special forces. As for his alter ego, Conner donned the cowl shortly after Emiko Queen, inspired by her actions to protect his city. Hesitant at first, he took up the Green Arrow mantle, and in the year, has made it his own name. Most, when asked about the Green Arrow, think of the multi-background vigilante in Conner Hawke, rather than the constant emotional shit show of Oliver Queen (words heavily based on Conner's opinion of Oliver).

Harley_Quinn_at_Belle_Reve.pngtumblr_owjf228y2A1vpmbi2o1_540.jpg
Full Name: Harleen Frances Quinzel

Current Age: 25

Alias: Harley Quinn

Former Aliases: N/A

Affiliations: Gotham City Sirens
Joker (Former???)
Suicide Squad (Former)

Brief History:
Once a career-oriented psychiatrist, whose life took a radical turn when she chose to spend a semester interning at Arkham Asylum . Upon meeting Dr. Joan Leland for the first time, the more senior doctor warned the eager and vastly inexperienced Harleen to be careful around the inmates. Originally drawn to the "glamour" of the inmates, she was unexpectedly intrigued by the Joker
She organized regular therapy sessions with him, during which the Joker manipulated the inexperienced Harleen by telling her tales of a cruel father and an abusive childhood, mixed in with his early attempts at comedy. He made her laugh as much as he made her cry, and she fell hopelessly in love with him largely based on sympathy.
After Joker's latest escape and re-capture by Batman, Quinzel went insane and adopted the clownish persona of Harley Quinn; her first act was to break Joker out again. Thereafter she was his semi-constant companion and lover. She occasionally broke away from him, but always ended up going back to him in the end. For the Joker's part, while he had found her to be an annoyance some of the time, he was able to skill fully manipulate her to serve his needs.
After a falling out with the Joker, she goes into a murderous frenzy, directed towards people responsible for the Joker's imprisonment. Captured by Black Canary, she is forcibly inducted into the Suicide Squad by Amanda Waller. However, when she discovers that the Joker is rumoured to be dead, it takes a further toll to her already addled mind, and betraying the Suicide Squad, she puts their safety and secrecy at risk by turning herself into the Gotham Police Department in a plot to gain access to the skinned face of the Joker. Her plan apparently pays off, and she manages to recover the face, though in a further psychotic episode, Harley captures and ties up Deadshot and places the skinned face of the Joker over Deadshot's face, so that she can carry on a "conversation" with her dead lover. Deadshot lures Harley in close, shooting and severely injuring her during the conversation After the Joker returns to Gotham in the "Death of the Family" story line, he forces her to disguise herself in his old Red Hood costume and trick Batman into coming to the chemical plant where they first met. Batman then falls into a tank and demands Harley to tell him where Joker is. But she only replies, in tears, that he is no longer the Joker she had fallen in love with.
After that she moved to Coney Island and became a landlady for a while, even competing in Roller Derbys. Eventually she was pulled back into the Suicide Squad. Not that she had a choice.

Brief Personality:
Bubbly, energetic, and charming, Harley often hides her demented mind behind a childish exterior, which she can combine with the flirtatious demeanour of a woman who is aware of her good looks and will use them to get what she wants. She is also much more intelligent than she lets on, often causing friend and foe alike to underestimate her. Her training as a psychiatrist gives her a knack for getting into peoples heads. In addition to being a skilled manipulator, she's also prone to explosive fits of rage and has a violent streak that almost rivals that of the Joker himself. She is also very loyal towards the people she loves.

What Happened In That Year:
After the last Suicide mission Harley had planned to lay low, maybe live a semi - normal life. Although as she figured out quickly, (like maybe in about a week), it just wasn't for her. She tried to call up her friends, Ivy, Selina even her old pals from Coney Island. Everyone was too busy for her. So she turned back to crime, only petty stuff, whatever to satisfy her urges. Though this made her incredibly bored and eventually even depression. Harley longed for the old days with Ivy or a suicide mission. Hell even a romp with her Puddin!
Eventually she took up a day job, a therapist in a old folks home. Something to pass the time.
She would of gave anything for some good old ass kicking action, that's when good old Ivy finally came along with a plan...

Full Name: Virgil Ovid Hawkins

Current Age: 20

Alias: Static

Former Aliases: N/A

Affiliations: Titans

Brief History: Virgil (15) and many other Dakota youths gained powers after a freak accident during a gang related shootout, now known as “The Big Bang”. An experimental mutagen in the tear gas used by the cops now known as Q-juice granted young Virgil the ability to generate, manipulate, and control electromagnetism. When the agency behind the mutagen attempted to capture him, he escaped using his new found powers. Unable to control his powers initially, and scared of the possibility of hurting his family, Virgil ran away from home seeking help with his powers.

Eventually finding his way to S.T.A.R. Labs, Virgil begins to push the limits of his powers under the supervision of The Atom, Ray Palmer. Virgil's innate ability to manipulate electrons very much intrigued the physicist within Palmer. After much spending nearly two years under Ray's tutelage, learning to control his ability and vastly expanding his scientific education, Virgil decided to set out on his own and with a final gift from his mentor, a custom super suit, he returned to Dakota as Static, starting by helping police put away fellow “Bang-Babies.” Though he did not officially join the Titans, Static is a sort of Satellite member, helping out when called upon.

Brief Personality: Virgil has an analytical mind the helps him think logically and stay cool in high pressure situations. He craves knowledge more than wealth or women. Hearing of beings like Brainiac did not scare him but rather excited and intrigued him as his imagination was the only limitation to the kinds of information Brainiac must hold.

Virgil has become hardened after many brutal, sometimes fatal battles. The deaths of his former rivals Ebon and Hotstreak weight on him particularly as they were corrupted by the power granted from the “Big Bang.” Subconsciously Virgil is scared he could be corrupt by his own power.

What Happened In That Year: Much like the Titans, Static stepped up in the absence of the league. His reputation as a hero has grown significantly since his beginning, and he is now widely recognized as the Hero of Dakota City. Alternatively, Virgil Hawkins began working for S.T.A.R. Labs, helping launch their Dakota location, and now as facilities director and one of the chief scientists.

Full Name: Jonathan Samuel Kent

Current Age: 11

Alias: Superboy

Former Aliases: N/A

Affiliations:
Young Justice
Super Family
Super Sons

Brief History: Jon Kent is the first son of Post-Crisis Clark Kent (Superman / Kal-El) and Lois Lane. During the Convergence event, Clark and Lois were the only 'survivors' of the event and were the only ones to remember it in the beginning. At that time, Jon was born in Thomas Wayne's Batcave. From there, his family had assumed the surname White and lived in a rural area. At the age of 9, Jon's cat Goldie was taken by a hawk. Jon chased the bird and eventually killed it using heat vision, and that was the beginning of his powers manifesting. Slowly, the rest would come, but that slowness was due to Manchester Black preventing Jon from manifesting his powers at their normal speed. And when Manchester was defeated, Jon's powers came in at full. Later, Jon's history had been reformed to where he was born in the Fortress of Solitude.

Brief Personality: Jon is the embodiment of the best of his parents' strengths. He has his mother's confidence, strength, and courage. And he has his father's abilities and moral compass.

What Happened In That Year: Jon, having been rejected to be a part of the Teen Titans after Tim Drake from the future had convinced them that Jon was a weapon of destruction, was completely put down. Despite Damian trying his best to console him, Jon just felt like an outcast. And then, the Titans membership had sorta fallen apart. That's when the idea struck him. A team comprised of only adolescent heroes—capable, but still learning. The team name had come through a series of people, but suited its concept: Young Justice.

Full Name:
Richard "Dick" John Grayson

Current Age:
26

Alias:
Nightwing

Former Aliases:
Robin

Affiliations:
Teen Titans

Brief History:
The first Robin, Dick lost his family when their wire snapped during one of their acts. He was soon adopted by Bruce Wayne, and became the first and most famous Robin. After being fired by Batman, Dick formed the Teen Titans and donned his iconic Nightwing persona, named after a Kryptonian superhero. He's the current leader od the Titans, though he's not really a teenager anymore, and he isn't very happy that the Justice League just poofed out of nowhere.

Brief Personality:
Dick's always been a bright, laid-back guy, a stark contrast to his mentor. He's always cracking jokes, being sarcastic, and generally showing off. He's always been a lady's man, and has had many girlfriends, the most prominent being Starfire and Barbara Gordon. He's a born leader, leading the Titans for years, and has become a bit more serious in his age. But not too much. Because he's not like Batman.

What Happened In That Year:
Dick finally fufilled his promise to Barbara Gordon, and proposed to her again. She said yes, and they've recently gotten married, finally. Dick's been busy lesding the Titans in the last year, trying to make sure the world doesn't end out of nowhere. He's skeptical about the Juwtice League returning, the friction he and Bruce had resurfacing after all these years kf them getting along.

Full Name:
Bruce Thomas Wayne

Current Age:
40

Alias:
Batman

Former Aliases:
None

Affiliations:
Justice League

Brief History:
Bruce was born the only child kf the prestigious Wayne family, known for their many humanitarian actions for Gotham City. Fekm charities to aiding the police department, the people of Gotham loved the Waynes. Well, except for the crime families, of course. To stop the meddling of the Wayne's, a hitman gunned Thomas and Martha Wayne down while they were leaving a theatre, traumatizing Bruce forever. This act changed him. The people of Gotham were afraid. They had no hope, no beacon. But Bruce woule be that beacon, the reason criminals breathed a sigh of relief when the sun rose over Gotham. He would become the Batman. After years of mastering every martial art, and dozens od skills, he returned to Gotham as his new identity, cleaning up the streets while also creating increasingly deranged villains. He left with the Justice League for a year, and has returned to protect Gotham once again.

Brief Personality:
Bruce has lost all semblance od the boy he used to be, his very being completely and wholly dedicated to fighting crime. He has very little trust for anyone, even himself, and has contingencies in case each of the members of the Justice League. He finds it hard to create genuine bonds wkth other people, as the loss of his parents caused him to develop many antisocial beahviors. He does have a lot of guilt, though, especially for the death of Jason Todd, and creating the Joker.

What Happened In That Year:
During his year away, Batman improved his contingencies against the Justice League, including himself. He injected himself with nanites that, when activated, will kill him. The only person to the code is Jarvis and Superman, the intention being that if Batman goes too far, that they'll kill him. He's also been funding research to help restore Barbara Gordon's legs, and cure the Joker's madness.
