  The first RP I ever did was a zombie apocalypse one and I loved it. I have yet to find another one that ran smoothly and continuously since then. So I figured I would try and make one.
  I feel like something that makes the RP stall right in the beginning is the survivors meeting, due to this the RP with take place when the group is new but already established. How your OC got into the group is up to you. I really want this RP to allow your character to develop and thrive! I’ll occasionally play an NPC who gives the group a quest. The group can decide if they want to do the quest and how they will do it.
  Last note I’ll make before getting into the story/lore is there aren’t really a lot of cars. I once joined a zombie apocalypse RP where the person's first post was racing through the city in a Lamborghini, crashing the car and getting away completely unscathed. This ruined the RP especially since it continued on throughout the whole thing. With a limited amount of cars comes a limited amount of guns and ammo. A pistol or a shotgun, maybe even a hunting rifle, but no you can’t have a machine gun and a bazooka right off the bat.

  When the virus first started to spread everyone thought it was a joke. It quickly became apparent that it was not. Zombies, who would have thought of all things that would be mankind's downfall. Though zombie is too comical for what these monsters are. Disgusting repulsive monsters that don’t care if you are young or old, good or bad, friends or strangers. These things are what we should be worried about, but even now when we should depend on each other the most some of us our a bigger threat than the dead. There are those who choose to turn there back on others, their own survival coming first. Don’t lose hope, there are people out there who care and only wish to help.
  
  Welcome to Rural Virginia home of the dead. You are part of a group of five trying to survive in this treacherous wasteland. A large herd has been spotted heading in the direction of your camp. As a group, you must decide what to do. It should take the herd about a day to get to you, the clock is ticking. What will you do?

  I’m not going to nitpick your characters as they are yours, but I want this zombie RP to be somewhat average people trying to get through the zombie-ridden world. I completely understand if you love being a medic in survival RPs, but make it interesting. It gets a little boring and dull when there's always a resident doctor around. Maybe your character learned all their medical knowledge from Grey’s Anatomy. I want characters that are real if that makes sense, I hope that’s reasonable.

  1. Follow RPNations guidelines and rules.
  2. Quality over quantity, there is no post requirements or restrictions. Just make sure to give enough for some else to go off of.
  3. Light on the BBCode when it comes to IC because some people are on mobile and it doesn’t always work.
  4. No metagaming/mind reading or OP characters.
  5. Romance is allowed but keep it two a minimum it’s a zombie apocalypse, not a reality show.

As one of the late arrivals I'd certainly appreciate it, but obviously keeping the plot intact takes precedence.
