S L O W L YT A K E N

It's eternally raining here
There are two groups, the group beneath the sun, and the group beneath the moon. All of them are monsters. The monsters of the sun are the ones who drink daylight and the monsters of the moon drink nightlight. They both attend Dawning academy in attempts to solve the problems of war during dawn and dusk. The Sun and Moon Gods have been fighting for years.

These teenaged monsters are like lab rats to see if the Sun and Moon can both be in harmony and Earth wont be destroyed from their wars.

Aiko Shinmae

Aiko's red hair scattered into her face. Her blue eyes narrowed to the touch of the thin lines. Slowly, Aiko moved from the fluffy sheets of the bed. Her location was in one of the schools dormitory's, the female Sun dorm. In total, four dorms existed, the female Sun dorm, the male Sun dorm, the female Moon dorm, and finally, the male Moon dormitory. Students could also sleep outdoors if they truly wished to, as long as all of their school items where in the dorm and hey checked into the dorms every morning, and every night. Aiko threw on her white dress. The school's break had ended quickly, and now the students were back.

When Aiko had gotten done becoming perfect she fluttered her wings in excitement and walked swiftly to the door, not bothering for shoes. Her wings were glimmering brightly as she made her way out of the dormitory.

Aiko began skipping along outside, everything on the sun side of the place was decorated with fire or sun symbols. It felt like the school was obsessed with showing that this was the where most of the monsters of the sun stayed. Aiko's hair began to bother her wings. Her wings now felt itchy and awkward. Aiko took out a blue hairband from off her wrist and pulled her into it. It took a moment, and in the end the outcome was messy, but it gave Aiko the feeling of freedom with her hair messy like it was now. Due to the length of Aiko's hair, it still went down to about the middle of her back, which is a little lower then where her wings connected. It didn't help with her wings at all with the ponytail. Aiko sighed and continued down the path, until she came up to the school.

The school was enormous. Moons and suns decorated everything. In front of the school was a small empty area where they decorated it all with tiles on the ground, and on the sides all around where maroon stone walls, which were considerably short. Across from the empty area in front of the school, and across from where Aiko came into the school area, was the moon side of the school. Aiko turned in towards the school entrance. A few feet before the doorway stood an elegant fountain in which, Aiko could not resist jumping onto the side of it with her bare feet and looking into the pond of water the fountain created.

Akane made her way out of bed to get ready grabbing her clothes to start her routine preparation for school. She dressed in a soft woolen dress and ankle boots that would keep her comfortable throughout the day. She smoothed out the curls of her hair making sure they wouldn't get tangled in her horns she quickly finish her last minute preparation and grabbed her satchel she headed out of her room.

Making her way through the dorm she gave polite "Good mornings" to the other girls that were up, before going to the main floor. She took a deep breath before preparing her self for another day of school and walking outside. Feeling the cold morning air Akane gave a smile making slowly walking around enjoying the slow stream of students sleepily making their way out of their dorms.

Lilith sighed as she dressed in a lacy, silver dress accented with a sweater. It had been planted in her mind that the first day would be the worst, and even though this was a school for monsters, she would still be discrimated against and frowned upon. Maybe it was the recent events, or maybe the stories she had heard in movies. Either way, she was terrified as her black flats clicked against the pavement in front of the school. She took a seat on a nearby bench, and pulled out her sketchbook. If it was even possible to calm her nerves at this point, it would be by drawing. Her wings slightly wrapped around her body, limiting her vision.

Yamato Yuzuki

Yamato's wings probably did give him an angelic look.

He didn't like that.

Yamato was staring into a mirror in front of him, examining the white wings with beautiful virgin white feathers. The feathers that made him be mistakened for an angel all the time. He was a demon for crying out loud, and a demon he hated. He was a puppet. A slave. So far, maybe even thanks to the wings on his back, Yamato had no master. That was something to smile about. Yamato's hand went up, brushing a bit of his dark hair from his face. He sighed.

Yamato had been thinking about what would he have become if he ever did have a master a lot lately. It might've been because of the school. His being around so many people at once..

Yamato's eyes scanned over the mirror swiftly, again and again, until he was finally satisfied with thinking and being by himself. Slowly, he moved away from the mirror and slipped on his normal, ripped up, grey sweater. It was light, and not really a sweater at all. The fabric was thin. Yamato then walked out of his room to his dorm room and made his way down the steps. His wings were small, and folded against his back tightly.

When Yamato came downstairs some teens were acting crazy. Throwing food, starting drama. In Yamato's opinion, guys could start up more drama then girls can, but guys can just solve their drama faster, while girls take days and days to finally cool off.

Yamato ignored the idiots and went right for a small counter, which led into the tiny kitchen which a few guys were screwing around in. Yamato smiled, grabbed an apple, and quickly left the area.

He shut the door behind him, outside all was quiet other then a steady stream flowing silently by. Yamato began to walk, and chew on his apple. Apples had always been his favorites, ever since he was younger. Yamato silently made it to the front of the school, spotting that very few kids were even here. Yamato looked around to all the strangers. All of them could end up being his master. Even by an accident, it might end up happening.

Shard Peace

Shard yawned. He could feel his heart beating fast this morning from the excitement. Shard put his hand over his heart and sighed. He only felt one heart beat, his other heart was one of the only things that showed his monster, other then his complexion. Even his scent reeked of human being. Shard looked out to the bright sky outside of his window.

Shard slowly stood up, his breath turned sharper. He tried to breathe steadily, but it seemed impossible. Shard walked to his door, and turned the golden handle. When he stepped out, he could feel the other presences of the other monsters being awake. Shard walked down the hall, finding a staircase and walking down quickly. His eyes were set on staring on the floor as he turned the corner and wrapped around the stairs.

Shard made his way to the front door, not many were awake yet. For monsters of the Sun, they definitely didn't really wake up early. Shard looked up to the sky when he stepped out of the door. A small smile crawled onto his face before he turned his head forward and began walking down the path that led to the school.

And when he got there, he immediately felt like he didn't fit in. His eyes examined all of the people. He noticed their extra features that gave them their monsterous quality. Shard sighed and walked over to the wall, which was easy enough to climb and sit on. Shard looked from student to student, examining each of them with close interest.

Akane watch the rest of the students walking around her eyes catching another girl on the fountain her wings being shining with the light of the sun, Giving a polite smile to a few other watching as a few turned away while others returned the gesture. While she was observing everyone slowly making her way around a group of monsters came barreling towards the entrance pushing kids around Akane being one of them making her trip in to a few monsters and knocking her into a wall that had someone sitting on it.

"EXCUSE ME!" Akane snared baring her fangs and ears twitching angerly at the group that kept making their way across the center.

Shard Peace Shard watched the crowd with slight amusement. The gaggle of people were running around acting as silly as they could. Shard shook his head. He never wanted to become like them. His gaze turned to examine the girl who had been shoved around by the group. Shard smiled softly. This was beginning to become more and more amusing, but that didn't stop Shard from feeling like an outsider while sitting on his wall. One of his legs dangled down into the school area and his other leg was brought up and pressing against Shard's torso. ``Are you alright?`` Shard asked, eyes flickering around until he rested them back onto the girl, and he held onto his smirk, which gave away his amusement clearly.

@King Sabby ?

Akasha had been awake for hours, having trouble sleeping test yet again she had already dressed in her white kimono and pinning her moonlight colored hair up with her various decorative pins before grabbing her violin case and heading out to the gardens on the school grounds.

Once she was there, she took in the scent of fresh roses that stood in the center of the quiet grounds. She wanted to relax and take her mind off the nightmares she had continuously, and the only thing that could do that was the soft music of the special instrument get mother had given her.

Once she had taken a few deep breaths to calm her nerves, she opened the case and positioned herself accordingly before she started playing the new song she had finished writing the previous afternoon. It's sweet melody filled the air around her, fitting perfectly with her peaceful little haven.

"Today is going to be a long day." She spoke softly to herself as she played on into the mornings light.

At some time during her playing, her glowing blue eyes slowly closed. Her mind had been carried away by her music, drifting away from her as she played. Suddenly without realizing, her tempo slowed in the once happy sounding music, revealing its sad truth. The song was never meant to be happy, this she new, but the tempo could hide it's true intentions of played right, her secret songs.

She was snatched away from her thought momentarily when one of the strings snapped, slicing the tip of her small delicate hands. "Oh." She opened her eyes, lifting it to her view to see the small amount blood pooling at the torn flesh. "I guess this means I need new strings." She said humorously to herself as she began to move to place the violin back into its case.

Yamato Yuzuki

Yamato couldn't help glaring around at all the people who passed by him. His sharp silver eyes weren't welcoming to anyone of any sexes or species. Yamato knew that he was probably going to be a loner for this school year, and Yamato felt like welcoming that feeling, but every time he tried to accept being alone his chest tightened up until he tried breathing in deeply. Yamato sighed. Standing around made his legs hurt wildly, so Yamato made his way over to one of the small benches in the area, sitting down in it. His head rested backwards against the maroon wall behind him. His wings shifted until they were comfortable enough to not bother him.

Yamato closed his eyes, but every time he would shut them he opened them again and looked around to all of the other people. The sun shone in his eyes, brightening their dark look and turning his eyes to a brighter color. Yamato folded his legs so his ankles touched gently together. Yamato was looking at the ground, his eyes were unfocused and his lips formed into a small frown. Not necessarily because he was angry or sad, but more because his boredom was scratching him in the face awfully.

Lilith couldn't focus. All that had taken shape in her sketchbook was a half-assed rose. She sighed as the book closed with a loud thud, probably bringing unwanted attention. She saw dozens of cliques, full of monsters who had obviously known each other for years. One boy stood out to her though. A pale boy with wings was seated alone on a bench across from her. Deciding to watch him out of boredom and loneliness, she picked up her sketchbook once again and peered over the top. @xXDeathXLifeXAngelXx

@xXDeathXLifeXAngelXx Sorry my computer decide to update last night so I just went to bed and just got out of class a bit ago
Akane turn to the voice looking up to the other student sitting on the wall. Taking in his dual eyes and the smirk on his face Akane lifted her an eyebrow at him. She moved a hand to smooth out her hair, pat her horn making sure there wasn't a chip in them. She crossed her arms ears fluttering in slight irritation.

"Yes, I'm alright." Letting out a sigh "How about you enjoying the show?"

Waving her arm out to indicate the students milling around giving a shake of her head. It was a far cry from the quite mountains and forests that Totetsu usually inhabited.

Aiko was playing with the surface of the water on the fountain. Her reflection was rippled. People were running around the fountain, girls sitting down and talking about crushes and boys.

Boys. Boys. Boys.

Aiko had never really thought about any relationships with any guys ever before, and listening to the girls hadn't completely made her feel like trying to flirt with a guy. To Aiko guys sounded like jerks, and girls could be jerks to. Aiko would never be able to imagine herself dating another female. It just didn't appeal to Aiko's interests. Aiko looked up and around, finding herself examining a lot of people. She tried to guess their personalities based off of their looks.

`He looks like a douche. She looks like a weak shy girl. He looks like a guy who gets in trouble a lot. He looks like a jock. She's definitely one of those crazy girls. She flirts with all of the guys. She focuses on her makeup all the time.`Aiko's eyes went to the only boy who was sitting on the wall, surprisingly. `He looks like one of those kids who parties and causes a lot of trouble.` Aiko guessed. She wrapped her ponytail around and played with it. The red strands of hair slipping through her fingers gently.

Blaidd woke a little bit later than usual, she was not ready for school to start. But there she was, only a few minutes later dressing herself in a white t-shirt, black leather jacket, dark blue jeans, and black leather ankle-high boots with gold rhinestones at the top. She attempted to run her fingers through her always messy black hair and managed to get through half of it without getting snared on a stubborn tangle. Finally managing to tame her hair, Blaidd started her way out the door with a small bag over her shoulders until she stopped in front of the mirror. Her gold eyes looked over herself and she grinned thinking to herself, 'Not bad.'

The werewolf straightened herself and walked out of her room, down the halls past the other girls from Moon. The second she made it outside, she smiled to herself. No matter where Blaidd Branwen was, she treasured being outdoors. Yet, her smile faded as she looked out at all the monsters, they were all friends, and she tended to seclude herself from making them. She looked over everyone, hoping maybe this time she could try and make at least one friend, but everyone seemed to already be making acquaintances with each other. Shrugging, the teenager took a seat in the grass before slowly sinking to the ground, using her bag as a pillow. She traced the sky silently, listening to the sound of people speaking among themselves.

Akasha had been sitting peacefully in the gardens, hiding in the fragrant flowers away from the chaos of the morning activities students took part in. Loud, that's all she could think of as she pulled out a music book and began writing ideas for new songs. She began humming as she wrote down the various notes, line by line the page filed up with the promise of beautiful music. Her humming had transformed into soft singing as she went on, her angelic voice floating around her in harmony with the chirping birds inhabiting her hiding place.

She was sitting on the ground now with her knees tucked comfortably beneath her. So engulfed in her writing, she hadn't noticed the snow that began to fall around her chilling the air around her form and falling to the ground around her. She was to relaxed, so relaxed that she hadn't noticed her power flair out in a personal shower of white fluffy snow flakes as she continued on in her own little world

Shard Peace

Shard looked to the other kids the girl indicated to. ``No, their pretty boring to watch.`` Shard sighed. His eyes closed and he turned on the wall, laying down onto it flatly. His head turned and his eyes opened, he was facing the other side of the wall, all he could see was a dark forest. Shard didn't really like the dark. It scared him to think about what could happen in the dark. Shard pulled his upper body up and rested his elbow on his knee, then resting his head into his palm.

``Do you think this school year is going to be interesting?`` Shard asked. It was a bit of a random question, but Shard was curious on her opinion. Shard gave a small smirk.

@King Sabby

Yamato Yuzuki

Yamato sighed. His eyes looked up from the ground. He looked around again, feeling as if someone were watching him. His eyes turned over to the girl with the sketchbook and he gave her a curious look. His eyebrow raised gently before he turned to look back at the ground. He was watching the girl through the corner of his eye, and he couldn't help but smirk a little.

Yamato's eyes had examined the ground so he felt as if he would never forget the image of the little piece of land anymore. Yamato's wings shuffled when a light wind began to breeze by and he looked up, and towards the direction the wind was coming from. His eyes then went back to the girl with the sketchbook

@PokemonGirl

"Intresting?" Akane pondered thinking over history Moon and Sun hand never truly gotten along. Most meetings ended explosively and now they had stuck a bunch of teenage monsters together from different fractions. "Yes," She stated" I think the real question is if it's going to be good interesting or bad?"

Giving him a toothy smile before sweeping her gaze around the courtyard. "Its certainly going to be an experience."

Shard Peace

Shard couldn't nessasarily put a finger on whether it would be good or a bad sort of interesting. He looked around to all of the people again. He couldn't exactly tell the Moons from the Suns. He looked to the girl below him. ``Are you a Moon or a Sun monster?`` He asked. Her bright colors gave her an appearance of Sun, but he could be mistaken. After all, the saying did say not to judge a book by it's cover. He wondered what she might've thought he was. His color palette did make him feel like he was a Sun child, but others might think the reds and yellows looked more nightly like. @King Sabby

Giving a little laugh Akane tugged on one of her curls. "Moon" she stated simply "I'm a Totetsu usually we are white or gray hair if we live in the mountains while those who live in jungles are a dark red. But once in awhile a pink one pops in if you have a parent from different regions." She gave him another fanged smile. "I we usually get mistaken for sun, its hard to tell, but we do our best hunting in the dark"

"What about you?"

Lilith looked down at her sketchbook, embarrassed. But after a couple of seconds, curiousity overtook her and she forced herself to look up again, back at the boy. She gave a small wave, and covered her face with the opposite wings.

@xXDeathXLifeXAngelXx

Shard Peace

Shard was one of the people to mistaken her for a Sun. ``Heh. I'm a Sun.`` He wondered if he should tell her his type of monster too, like she had. To be honest, Shard didn't like his species. He sighed. ``I'm also a Beast.`` He said, looking around. Shimmering from the light reflecting off the pond caught his eye and he narrowed them. He looked back to the Totetsu girl. His eyes examined her horns and he smiled lightly. @King Sabby

Yamato Yuzuki

Yamato watched for a moment before waving back, he didn't know if she would see him wave or not. Yamato examined her wings. His eyes were filled in with curiosity. Yamato sighed and pulled his phone from his pocket and checked the time. The bell would probably ring pretty soon. Then all of the kids would somehow fit into the school. Yamato put the phone away. He was bored. There was nothing for him to do but watch the other students. he rested his head back against the wall and closed his eyes. Boredom overtook him and set him into a quick gentle sleep. His wings were relaxing down and his head was rested on his shoulder. @PokemonGirl

Oh man Oh man Oh man... She started to panic. She pressed down harder on the the paper, as she curled up and wrapped her wings around herself, waiting desperately for the bell to ring.

"A Beast" Akane gave a little snort a smile on her face. "Well I can't really say anything I mean totetsu are a combo of a goat and tiger. Not sure if I wanna know how that happened."

Giving him a teasing grin "As long as you don't start throwing you sunshine sparkles around I think we'll get along pretty good Sunny."

Blaidd knew the bell would ring soon, and so she stood, pulling her bag back over her shoulder before making her way down towards the school's entrance. Her eyes traced over a few monsters. Some were loners, and others seemed to be shy, she caught a glimpse of some guy sleeping on a bench and snorted to herself, he most definitely would be late. Once she made it near the front doors, she leaned against the wall and waited for the shrill noise of the bell to make her ears bleed.

The bell rang. It was really loud.

Aiko smiled and jumped down from her spot on the fountain. Her wings shimmered as she ran into the school, trying her best to avoid the crowds among crows of people that would be pushing in. When she got into the building she looked around. Before her were polished wooden floors and the walls were bright white. Her eyes showed excitement as she felt the floor beneath her feet. She began forward, quickly taking out a small map from a pocket in her white dress. She read it as more teens began into the school. She began forward, towards a large staircase in the middle of the school building. She started up the steps.

Upstairs was where some of the classes were and Aiko headed down the hall of doors. When she found the door she was looking for, she slid it open and entered into the classroom quietly. She turned, finding herself facing a male man, near in his late 30's. Aiko smiled, but the teacher didn't smile back.
``Go ahead and take your seat anywhere.`` He said darkly. Aiko nodded, and looked to the desks. The classroom was big, and the desks looked advanced and way out of the world. She decided to sit down in the second row. Aiko folded her hands on the desk and waited. Her wings shimmered in the light coming from the large window to Aiko's right.

Two more random students came in and took their own seats. Aiko stared at her small hands.

Shard Peace

Without another word Shard jumped down from the wall. He began forward to the school as other students had. His eyes looked to the ground in front of him.

He passed the fountain in a breeze and slipped passed the crowd of kids and into the building. His eyes examined around, and he was impressed. The school apparently had all of the money in the world to spend on itself. Shard hated that. Following the directions he was given he walked up the wooden stairs and looked at all of the doors.@King Sabby

Yamato Yuzuki

Yamato twitched when the bell rang, and opened his eyes. The bell was very loud, and annoying. When the bell finished ringing Yamato stood up and stretched. Luckily, he wasn't a heavy sleeper, and he usually woke up pretty fast. Yamato checked his phone again and noted himself on when the bell rang. Yamato began to head towards the direction where all the students created a gaggle, but Yamato stayed a little ways away. He didn't want to be caught up in the crowd. Yamato examined the ground. It looked beautiful, and barely any scratches were carved into it's smooth surface.@Anyone
