Anti-Magic Eight Ball
Mysti

"Eric?" I looked over at my childhood friend. "I just got the best idea ever." I frown, then say, "Well, actually, it's Mauve's idea. But whatever. You know that epic Dark party Rakil is throwing?" I grinned, my fangs sliding out. "Well, Mauve decided we should spice it up and kidnap that Light b!tch Calissa. Y'know who I'm taking about? What d'you think?" Eric was a bit of the pack leader of us, I guess. But he was a hot one, so no complaints here.

Carissa

"Mom?" I looked up, unfolding my wings. "Yes, Carissa?" My mother replied. "Um, I know I should study for next week's healing exam, but Teresa said that there was a new book convention for Flowers, and. I really want to go." Well, I actually just wanted to escape the house- I couldn't focus wis my sister bringing home her boyfriend all the time. It drove me nuts that she was so socially advanced, so I just excelled studies to make myself feel better. My mother nodded, smiling. "You should get a social life, Hun," she encouraged me. I quieted, nodding with a smile. I beat my wings twice to swirl the air, then flapped then as I lifted off silently, heading to my room, deep in thought about what my mother said about social life.

Erik looked over to Mysti and smiled. "Come on, M. We can't go hurting every Light that you don't like, now can we. But sure, I've been craving for some fun," I stood. I'd barely seen this girl but I knew Mysti didn't like her so I had to oblige. If I didn't, I'd be getting shit about it for the next month or so, M talking about how I went soft on a Light or some other inappropriate crap.

Mysti

"Good. What time should we roll, it's only, like, 10. Party starts at 11. Should we jump her now?" My blood started picking up at the idea of a chase. "Best thing- she's a fairy. You're the best hunter, and those things are hard as f#ck to catch!" I stood up, stretching. "You better tear up her wings, she's so prissy. Thinks she's the best at school and all that crap just because she's got the brains. Little fae doesn't even know what's coming to her. I'm considering letting Jackelyn take her home, he'll be mean enough. But we'll probably just let her go," I spat. "Should I pull together the gang now?" I asked, tossing my hair to one side and sifting through my bag for a good knife. "Or should we go later, just to creep her out?"

Calissa

I went through my orderly closet and pulled out a white dress, changing into it. My own warm light lit my dim room- other light sources weren't really needed. I heard a small voice in my head, saying, "Carissa?" "Teresa?" I thought- she practiced telepathy. "Yeah, it's me. Listen, I just want ed to warn you that tonight, a bunch of Darks are partying. Careful on the way to the convention, you hear me?" I rolled my eyes, smiling. "Don't be dramatic," I tell her, searching my shelves for my edition of Dryad's Earth vs Naïed Seas. "What do I have that they don't have? They won't take me." "No- they might! I mean, they might be mad that your good at school or something." I held the book in one hand as I searched for a couple others. "Listen Teresa, I love you so much, but don't worry about me. I'll be fine. I'll see you at the book convention, okay?" "Alright- bye," Teresa relented reluctantly, and I felt her presence leave my mind.

"No. We go alone. You know how the guys get during hunts. They drink and party, then I have to pull them off some screaming girl before she can call the police. We've lost too many to the police to keep our identities safe. We go together. I trust you will show restraint, M. I don't want to have to...'remove' you like I've done to the others who've broke my rules. You're too important to me," he growled, making his authority clear. He never had a problem with this faery, so he'd go easy on her. Maybe put a tear or two in her wings to ruffle her up. It was true; he was the best tracker, making him authority here. He hated how bitter Misti could get but he loved her either way. Like a sister almost. A few times, he had caught himself staring when he was drunk, though.

"Party killer," I mutter, baring my teeth and dipping my head to acknowledge his superiority. I straightened up, then said outright, "Well, then, we should get ready." Being the lead female, right behind Eric in rank, has it's benefits. I take off my black hoodie, revealing a short black crop top and ripped up black jeans covering my pale skin. "We ready?" I ask, then pause. "But we are dragging Carissa to the party, right? Just for fun! We'll make her shut her mouth, she's easy to push around. We haven't brought a Light to a Dark party in ages! You've been been such a wimp, only terrorizing the neutrals. Come on, please!" I had images of tying her up in a chair, but decided not to mention that. It always hyped me up when Eric hunted- he was so dangerous, so good, it made me shiver.

Calissa

I slip my feet into lace slippers, then left my rom to bid a quick goodbye to my parents. "Don't take too long, princess," my dad said worryingly. "And stick to the Neutrals, or Lights- those Dark's are a bad influence." I kept the Dark Party to myself, and smiled reassuringly. "Dad, don;t be silly. Love you," I said, kissing him on the cheek, then did the same to my mom, who smiled. "Go have fun!" she encouraged. I fluttered my wings, my aura brightening, and swooped out the door, clutching my books. I decided to walk- the winds were a little rough, I didn't want to be knocked off course. I stepped lightly along the path, unconcerned about the dark because of my light.

I laughed at the comment of I being a wimp. "Me? A wimp, Misti? I'm sure you have me mistaken for another Wolf, M," I growled with a devilish smile. "Fine. You may take the Light to the party but she is YOUR responsibility. If she is...harmed more than intended, it will be on your hands to dispose of the bodies," I raised my chin. I knew Misti was rebellious but she would not enjoy grave duty. No one ever did. I pulled off my white shirt in exchange for a skin tight black shirt. There was the brief moment where my well toned chest flashed but I turned away. I stomped on my combat boots and sighed. "Let's get to hunting," I smiled, dark brown eyes burning amber as I felt my Wolf's power seep into my skin.

I pad outside softly and quickly, remembering the drill. I curled my lip, and my vampire senses honed in on the scent of blood- fairy blood. Calissa's blood. I hiss, and start to sprint towards to source, blood pumping. She was actually pretty close- probably heading to that loser nerd book convention. I perk up, my fangs fully extended, and stopped, looking pointedly at Eric. "Fine prey, isn't she?" I whisper, watching her pale white aura walk across the street. "After you," I say courteously- Alphas always did the hunt, and I was just backup.

Calissa

A book slipped out of my hand, and I paused to pick it up, sighing. My aura suddenly flared orange without my conscious effort, and I inhaled sharply, standing upright immediately, book in hand. "H-hello?" I called out, my voice wavering. My wings flared open, the tips quivering with anticipation. Teresa's warnings swarmed my mind, and I took a hesitant step backwards, my blue eyes wide as my dress rippled in the wind. "Is anybody there?" I ask again, fear setting in. I was ready to fly, but the winds were strong, and being carried away was dangerous.

"Find a way behind her. I'll distract her then, when in your position, I'll snatch her," I got up and walked into her view, looking like an embarrassed boy. "H-Hi," I stuttered, rubbing the back of my neck and looked at the ground sheepishly. "I-I know it looks bad, but I-I didn't know how to talk to you so I-I followed you...I'm so embarrassed, I'll just go," I spoke with a quiet stutter and blush on my cheeks. God, I was a great actor! I turned a bit, pretending to leave.

Mysti

I silently treaded behind her, until I was almost breathing down her neck. I laughed silently at Eric's acting, then nod. *Ready when you say* I think.

Calissa

"Um…" I hesitated, my blue eyes wide and hesitant. "Are you… Um…" My aura blushed a light pink- I didn't talk to boys, I didn't know what to do! "Well- wait!" I reach foreword, lightly tapping his shoulder before flinching back like he was a hot stove. "Do you know the way to the, um, book convention? From here?" I looked down, nervous and still with a nagging feeling something was wrong. But he was so cute! I bit my plush bottom lip nervously, my wings trembling at attention, ready to take off at any given moment.

"Of course, follow me," I smiled. Nodding to Mysti, I took her delicate arm in my hand. I frowned slightly, suddenly not wanting to harm her. She seemed so fragile and innocent. But then my Wolf snapped me out of it and I jerked her towards me, smiling down at her with fangs. "Poor little Light. You just wanted some attention, huh?" my Wolf spoke for me, my breath running hot down her neck. I let out a thick laugh, eyes burning amber and chest widening. I threw you towards Mysti, this being her prey. "Let's take her to a real party, M!"

Mysti

I whooped, grabbing her roughly and looking her in the eye. "Aw. You scared?" I hissed, showing her my fangs. "Well, don't be. Be terrified." I ran through the trees, knowing that Eric was right behind me. "Eric!" I shouted as the b!tch started fighting. "Carry her, will you! If I let go, she'll fly, but I can't run with this b*tch squirming like this!"

Carissa

"Wait what? No!" I yelped, gripped tightly by a girl… Was that Mysti? I nodded vigorously when she asked if I was scared. "Please, please, please, didn't do anything! Nothing, I swear, what did I do?" My light flared brightly, illuminating the darkness. I pulled, desperately beating my wings, my voice trembling highly. "No! Please let me go, please!" I pleaded desperately. Mermories of poor Calvin, the last Neutral to be taken to a Dark Party, swirled through my head- he was beaten up, broken, scared. I didn't want to be that, I didn't, but we were running so fast and I didn't know where I was!

I snarled. "Can you not handle your own?!" I barked then stopped. "I'm sorry. My Wolf's out of hand," I spoke gruffly. "Just hold on," I growled and began to shift. I made it halfway, turning into the Wolfman. I didn't want to shift completely or I'd lose myself to the Wolf inside me and kill the faerie. I stood at seven feet tall and was covered in thick silver fur. My clothes vanished under the fur. I snatched her up, her wings pinned to her back. "Let's party," I spoke in a garbled voice, my muzzle inches from her face. I let out a howl and ran alongside Mysti.

Mysti

I threw open a pair of doors and yelled, "We've got a light!" Immediately, a swarm of our pack mates came rushing up through the beating music, reaching towards Eric to try and scratch and maul the fairy. "Put her down!" a friend Dark fairy, Fallon, shouted. "We want to rustle her up a bit too!" Mira, a fellow weredeer, was already fairly drunk when she said, "Yeah! That chick needs a piece of Dark! The innocence is sickening!"

Calissa

Tears welled up in fear as I was thrown into this harsh environment, full of noise and the smell of liquor. Claws tore off my shoes, ripped at my dress' hemline, and i desperately struggles to free my wings before they gar scratched too. My feet were getting scraped already, and this terrifying beast held me so, so tight. "Please let go, it hurts!" I cried out- I was a slight figure, since I was a light fairy- the Dark fairy's were build sturdier, stronger, but I was breakable and delicate. "Please, I'm begging you, please just release my wings at least!" I spoke so fast, my words tripped over themselves as I begged my captor werewolf. "I can't escape, I won't do anything, I'll never talk again, just please, my wings'll rip and I won't be able to fly and I won't report you or anything just, please." My voice was high with panic, and my aura flickered between being blazingly bright or hardly visible. I looked into the were- Eric, was it?-'s eyes, and my fear level skyrocketed to the point where I choked a bit. The amber was so intense, so inhuman!
(wait pause a moment, I'm gonna shower real quick :P )

Normally, I'd laugh in her face but his one...it looked me in the eyes. There was fear there, sure but there was determination to live. I grunted and dropped her, shifting. "Silence!" my voice boomed throughout the room, the music stopping. "I want you all to make our guest feel welcome...but if there is any unrepairable damage made to her, you know what the consequences are," I growled, nudging the Light at my foot. "Get up," I snapped, the music starting up and voices continuing. I dragged her up by the arm and threw her to Mysti. "She's your responsibility, M. I will not make an exception on you because you are my friend," I growled and left them, searching for a drink.

Calissa

I struggled to get up, and was grabbed my Mysti, who dragged my to a chair. "Rope!" She called maliciously, and I inhaled sharply in fear a a piece of metal twine was handed to her. "Don't worry, little fairy," she said in a sickly sweet voice. "We'll take care of you." I whimpered, my aura dimming considerably as the barbs du into my milky skin. Thank fae that the metal avoided by wings- I guess that counted as irreparable damage- but they did bind them together with a burlap rope. I winced the darks started swarming at me, grit my teeth against a particoulously aggressive blow to the fact. My head was whipped to the side, my hair in my eyes, and I banged my cheek against the chair back. A stinging red mark stayed there, and I slowly looked foreword again, breathing irregularly

After I snatched a beer, I made my way to the room Mysti disappeared to. I watched and then snarled at the sound of the slap. "We're here to scare her not hurt her, M!" I barked, eyes burning amber. At this point, my Wolf felt slightly...possessive of her. Like I needed to protect her. But I couldn't show it. Everyone expected Mysti and I to happen. Not like there was anything that went between them. Although, he was afraid to try and piece together some of his black outs. "Mysti...you hurt her once more and I'll take your toy from you," I growled.

Mysti

I looked at him in confusion. "But Eric… We do this all the time," I remind him. "She's nothing special! Or have you grown soft," I taunted, narrowing my eyes and turning to fully face him. "She's a light, for f*ck's sake!!" I scowled, then smoothed my features. I stepped to the side. "You should have your opportunity to hit her up," I say. "You'll remember how good it feels to be dark. Sucker." The rest of the pack moved foreword as well, hollering and peer-pressuring.

Calissa

I leaned back, trying to catch my breath from the violence during the break. My blue eyes fluttered, and I tried to focus and heal myself, but it wasn't working… I was too scared, too breathless. I opened them again, and tried to pull against my restraints, but the twine just dug deeper, so I stopped, resigning myself to helplessness, but snapped back to alert when mystique suggested take a turn on me. "No, what, no! I didn't-" I broke off, looking up at his powering figure.

I snapped at the idea but my Wolf wrapped itself around my throat, whispering in my ear. 'Let loose, Erik! Let's have a little fun!' He cackled and I could feel my eyes burn amber. I passed my beer to the closest one, my Wolf focusing on her. I tried to strain away from her but the Wolf kept stalking up to her. I took her fragile face in my now claws, smiling and baring my fangs. Up close, I could smell the fear on her. But I could also see the slightest glow..."You ain't going nowhere," I snarled lowly, my free claws ripping straight into her wings and ripping outwards, leaving four jagged rips in the fragile material. This happened in a matter of a second, something that flowed through me before thought.

Calissa

My aura flared a brilliant red, and I let out a scream of pain- loud, high pitched, clear as a bell. My vision flashed white and blurred as my sensitive wing nerves were ripped apart. My aura then disappeared, and I was left naked of my light, a signal of my damage. My wings held my magical essence, and were remarkably difficult to repair. "No, no, no!" I sobbed. "No, that was the one thing! The one thing I said you couldn't hurt!!" My wings hung limp, useless for the time being.

"There are no rules on this side of the town. I'm the rules!" I snarled, my Wolf getting out of hand. I gripped her face tightly and ripped the ropes off her. I wanted to drag throughout the house, let her get a kick from the rest of the guests but my Wolf suddenly left me, leaving me holding the faerie in my hands. Everyone could see the amber drain from eyes and knew I was back to being Erik. Guilt flooded through me and I growled at myself. I pushed her over to Mysti, hands balled into fists. "Take her home. She's had enough. And I don't need to hear why I'm soft or how she hasn't had enough, Mysti!"

Calissa

I looked up at Erik, my blue eyes watery and dull with fear and disbelief. "She can't take me home," I say dully. "I have to fly to my house and a partial way their. I. Can't. Go. Home." I bit my lips nervously, and my petite body started to tremble as I looked at to floor, drawing in a shuddering breath as I tried to lift myself to by feet. My bruised arms couldn't support me and I fell again, meeting a jeer from the Darks. I swallowed back my tears and tried again, but I couldn't- my legs were bleeding and cut, and I could hardly make it to my knees. "I'll… sleep in the woods tonight," I whispered, more to myself than to anyone else, and heaved myself to my feet, suddenly weighed down by shreds of wings.

My Wolf perked at that thought, images of me letting him loose and my teeth tearing into her fragile...I shook my head in disgust of myself. "No. You'll stay here," I growled, meeting the eyes of my Packmates. They held disbelief and disapproval. "Anyone have a problem?" I snarled, immediately becoming dominant. Before I could listen to their jeers, I pulled her up, gentler now and walked her out of the house, no longer interested. 'What are you doing?! Do you wish for your throne to be usurped?! Kill her! Kill her now and show them who is the real Wolf of this Pack!' my Wolf raged inside but I just calmly walked her down the street. I made no move to even look at her nor speak but I took her weight, knowing I went too far in hurting her wings.

(give me one second, I have to walk my dogs but give me like 10 minutes to reply ^^)
Calissa

I limped feebly after him, my steps uneven and unsteady. After a while of walking in the dark, I said cautiously, "Where are we going?" My voice was shaking, uncertain and barely above a whisper. I averted my blue eyes from her, nervous and intimidated my Erik. I couldn't tell if he was good, or bad, or what.
