Realistic or Modern + dark family roleplay

Hello, hello!

So, I'm one of those oddballs who plays SOLVE on Snapchat almost religiously, and the mystery it had me solving today was a kidnapping. The story ended up being that an infertile woman kidnapped a baby from a maternity ward, ran away to raise the baby as her own, and didn't even get caught until the baby she kidnapped had grown up into a young adult. I found the concept of that incredibly fascinating--imagine spending your whole life with someone, loving them, being raised by them, only to learn that they actually stole you from your original family. Right away, it was a concept I wanted to explore.

The general storyline I have in mind is that the mother/kidnapper was a bit of a criminal in her youth, estranged from her family and without any real strong bonds. Nothing too major, more a case of a variety of small crimes than any large ones, because breaking the law was all that made her felt alive. Eventually, crime lost its thrill, and she felt as though her life had no substance. She decided her life felt so empty because of the lack of meaningful relationships, and decided the only way to remedy that was to have a child of her own; she had no desire to reconnect with her toxic family, and had never felt much of a romantic pull toward anyone. After learning that she couldn't adopt due to her history of crime and was infertile, she ended up stealing a baby from the maternity ward as she was leaving the hospital for her fertility check--she reasoned with herself by saying that it was fate, that the maternity ward being unattended and that baby staring at her with its big innocent eyes from behind the class couldn't have been a coincidence. She fled with the baby girl, moved to a new state under an assumed name, and started a whole new life. It was wonderful. She got along well with her neighbors, was involved with the school and community, and loved the daughter that she raised more than anything in the world. However, when the daughter is thirteen years old, the case is reopened by a new police chief in her old town that had a personal connection to the family, and one of the neighbors, who often had the daughter over to play in the pool, ended up reporting her as suspicious to the police because the daughter shared a birthmark with the stolen baby. In a panic, the mother/kidnapper locked the police officer in one of the rooms and fled with her daughter as soon as she got home from school, feeding her some lie about her birth father--who the mother/kidnapper had always said was abusive, and that's why he wasn't involved in her life--had found them and they need to run. So yet again, she finds herself on the run, but this time, with a stolen child. Will her conscience get the best of her, or will her selfish love for her stolen daughter keep them on the run for the rest of their lives?

I'm looking for someone who would be willing to play the mother/kidnapper. (Or father, or genderqueer parent, whatever you'd prefer. Mother was just what I first envisioned when formulating the storyline.) I'd like a roleplay partner who can write at least twelve lines per response; use proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation; and reply at least twice a week. If you meet those requirements, feel free to PM me and we can discuss starting up a roleplay!
