Hello everyone, I've decided to create another rp thread, seeing as though my other one was strangely ignored by all who were interested....


So, lets get onto the premise, shall we?


"Ah, come closer... Hm... Yes, I see, it is a wonder to meet you my lord. What's that? Ah, I know. But you will one day rule an empire.


But, how will you rule it?


Will you oppress your people, proclaiming that everyone but you and your army are less than rubbish? Or will you put your people ahead of everything else?


Will you dominate the battlefield with brutish military force? Or will you use clever diplomacy to find potential allies?


The empires of old have fallen, the gods have left us all behind, the dark elves dominate at least 75% of the super-continent of Alastal, demons have declared war on all humankind, savage orcs and feral werewolves kill people by the thousands. The world has set foot into a dark age of empires. Each and every empire is fighting for world domination, war ravages our lands. Will your empire stand as long as time? Or will it fall apart as soon as it was created?

The world of DAE(Dark Age of Empires), Eidan, is a high-fantasy warhammer-esque world with one super-continent, Alastal, and various islands dotting the ocean. Build your empire from the ground up, destroy other empires, or be destroyed. You may create another empire after your previous one has fallen. The technology level allows some firearms (muskets, musket pistols and cannons)

Lore on the races


Humans: Humans are the youngest race in the world. Each human is unique in their own ways, it is very hard to explain the entire race, due to how unique each human is. Humans are made for change. Evidence of this, although it isn't quite positive, are demons and lostmen. Humans will stand together when their entire race is threatened.


Hornmenfolk: Hornmenfolk are the oldest race in the world, being the first race. They're very masculine, tall and have horns of all shapes and sizes, their skin is also all shades of grey with their hair different shades of white.


Dwarves: Dwarves are the fourth oldest race in the world. During the old age of empires, they minded their own business in their hollowed-out mountain empires.


Orcs: Orcs are the third oldest race in the world. Unlike their savage counterparts, their appearance is actually a mix of human and elvish, but more brutish and masculine than the two.


Elves: Elves are the fifth oldest race in the realm, during the old age of empires, their empire was constantly assaulted by the dark elves.


Catfolk: Catfolk are the second youngest race of the realm. Not much can really be said about them, other than they're quite careless and sexual.


Dragonfolk: Dragonfolk are the third youngest race of the realm. They're described as brutish dragon people, that's really it.


Savage orcs: Savage orcs are the second oldest race of the realm. Knowing only war, pillaging and raping. Their heavily bulky and masculine. During the old age of empires, they constantly attacked the hornmenfolk empire.


Dark elves: One would call these people sodomites, due to how violently-sexual they are. They love causing and seeing the pain of others, because it gives them pleasure. They choose to go after their counterparts the most, simply because they are their counterparts.


Demons: Humans who have succumbed to evil and sin. Like I said before, humans are suspected to be made to change. Demons are corrupted, evil humans. And, they're the self-proclaimed natural enemy of humankind.


Lostmen: Magic fascinates all, especially humans. But, if one is a human, if one delves too deep into the depths of magic, magic will take over you. Turning you into the very energy you seek to research.


Werewolves: These gentle giants are said to be the guardians of nature. Do not worry, the stories of them being infectious are false.


Feral werewolves: Basically, as it says. Just like werewolves, except feral and not quite gentle, at all.

Name: Atrian Empire



Most common race(s): Hornmenfolk, Elves, Humans



Military description: The Crimson Legions are very disciplined and highly trained squads of 500 men whether they are Hornmenfolk, Human, or Elf. The Crimson Legions are primarily made up of Hornmenfolk and Humans as they have more physical strength but there are times when skill and swiftness are more important than physical strength. Elves make up most of the archers equipped with long bows and light armor. The Mages are a mix of the 3 races wearing black with red robes.

The Drakieng Fire Arms Corps is a new addition to the army after the discovery of gunpowder. They are armed with a Riem-7 Fire Arm that can fire up to 7ft away it has 1 shot before you need to reload, and a smaller fire arm the Riem-2 can fire 2ft away with a good hit it can deal considerable damage and both can pierce through armor, a sword is included for close quarters combat if needed. And unlike the other parts of the army the Drakieng Fire Arms Corps doesn't stand in ranks but instead splits up into groups of 3 or so on the battle field to hide behind objects and get into good positions for firing down the enemies.

Navy description: The Atrian navy is made up of the Frakl a 6ft long boat which specializes in ramming and has small openings for fire arms to shoot at enemy ships if needed. The rest is made up of Draki's a hevily fortified boat with mages that use water magic to sink and crush enemy ships.



Culture(s): The Atrian Empire is fairly diverse with the 3 races multiple cultures mingling. But most speak the national language of Atrian which is a mix of Human-Elf-Hornmenfolk, and worship the Riem Pantheon.



Trade/commerce: The Atrian Empire excels at Craftsmenship, Metal working, and Agriculture. They trade with neighboring realms for things of interest.



Government type/description: Triple Monarchy - 3 Families Rule the Atrian Empire at the same time working together to maintain the Empire.



House Drakieng - A Human House that is descended from Fredegar The King of Kings one of the 3 Founders of the Atrian Empire.

Name: Kingdom of Mitithier


Main Races: Humans and Dwarves





  • Military Information: The Mitithier Military focuses on large formations of units working together. With a majority of the infantry being humans, they form large spear blocks to crush enemies with in a brutal advance. The dwarves are eheld in reserve as the ranged units, using their experimental gunpowder weapons.


    Navy Information: Since the Kingdom is along the coast, they have a strong naval presence near their lands, with war galleys and trade vessels being seen along the coast for miles in any direction.


    Nation History: The Kingdom of Mitithier was founded long ago from the war between a small group of humans and dwarves. The dwarves, who had a city along the coast, were forced to deal with a migration of human refugees fleeing from a recent orc conquest. Landing on the shore of the mainland, the humans attacked the dwarves, trying to secure their new homeland for themselves, only to be beaten back by the superior weapons and technology of the dwarves. After months of bitter fighting, the two races agreed to a truce, and the dwarves aided the humans in establishing a new home. Years later, they agreed to form a new nation, with both races as equal members, known as the Kingdom of Mitithier.


    Trade/Commerce: The Kingdom has an extensive mining operation under their control, due to their proximity to a mountain chain. With their dwarven blacksmiths and crafters, Kingdom goods can be traded at high prices to most locations. Their second largest income comes from their extensive farming plains. With rivers running through their kingdom, they are able to plant in abundance, and trade their excess to others.


    Government Type: Dual Monarchy. The kingdom is ruled by two kings, one from the dwarven and human species each. Under them, their is a more feudal system in how the kingdom is run, with each city and surrounding territory being left to the governors to deal with.

Name: The Kingdom of the Silver Mountains


Most Common Race: Dwarves


Military Information: The Silver Mountains Military is a small, but heavily armored force. Each warrior is clad from head to toe in heavy armor, and carry either a broad axe or pike. Rarely ever leaving their keeps within the mountains, the Dwarven soldiers are nevertheless highly trained and disciplined, from fighting constant defensive actions against orc raiding parties in their area. Dwarven ranged units are made up of crossbow units only, for their stature makes using a conventional bow pointless.


Navy Description: The few ships the Silver Mountains control are large, sluggish trade ships, used to carry their prcious metals and supplies between markets. Due to this, each ship is heavily crewed, and each comes with a small detachment of marines to defend it from boarders, as well as a sizeable arsenal of anti ship weapons.


Culture: The Kingdom of the Silver Mountains is a highly anti-social nation. Rejecting most contact with the outside world, they only interact with other Dwarven nations, and if absolutely necessary, with the humans and elves.


Trade/Commerce: The Silver Mountains boasts the best craftsman across the lands, with the few dwarven wares that end up in other markets going on to sell at extremely high prices. This craftsmanship also show itself in dwarven armor and weapons, which is considered a higher quality then most other races as well.


Government Type: Hereditary Monarchy. the SteelBeard clan lead the Silver Mountains as the sole lords and masters. Ruling for thousands of generations, they are considered proud and arrogant rulers, yet caring and protective of their people. Democracy is seen as a weak system to them, and shunned as a failing enterprise.

Awesome, dwarves! Also, I forgot to state this in the main post, technology levels allow for some firearms.

Sometimes they'd use enthralled Savage Werewolves to act as Shock Troopers, and more often then not Dark Elves would implore cheap sabotage and trickery from behind the scenes using the ferocious Orcs as distractions.

Employing the use of stolen ships, stolen weaponry and the occasional touch of Dark Elf magic, Osmadian Sea Raiders are often mistaken as common Bandits or other factions. However, what they lack in uniform the Osmadian Navy more than makes up for in sheer numbers and tenacity.

Culture(s):

Other nations would label Osmadia as a perfect breeding ground for depravity and viciousness. Uniting under a common desire to inflict suffering on others, citizens of Osmadia are mostly an assembly of villains and knaves who fled from their home nations. As such many criminal activities can be traced to Osmadian inhabitants. Though some occupants foster belief in higher powers, a general lust for the materialistic and vile proves they are of the minority.

Though the criminals of many other nations and races seek Osmadia for refuge, the ruling class of Dark Elves is incredibly hostile towards traces of Elves. Using Osmadia as a base for their hunting of their fairer counterparts, Osmadian Dark Elves have long since had an internal and external hunt for Elves. In fact, despite it being a small damper on commerce, elves are the only slaves the Osmadians refuse to part with.

Trade/commerce:

Though scorned by many other nations for their vile ways, Osmadians are thickly immersed in underworld dealings. Having pretty much cornered the Slave Trade, a large portion of Eidan's enslaved were often initially captured by Osmadians. In addition, Osmadians make a mint off the equipment and resources gained through conquering.

Dealings with other various criminal elements have also done nothing but bolster Osmadia's economy.

Government type/description:

Autocracy/Absolute Monarchy

Absolute Power is held by Sivian Vivinaldi, who uses it mainly to enforce stability within Osmadia. There is a council of Dark Elves and even several Savage Orcs who inform and encourage certain actions, but in the end only Sivian can motion for them to be followed through. Keeping a stranglehold on the respect of the population through intimidation, Sivian keeps Osmadia stable by deterring any self-destructive behavior with force. As such, crime, violence and depravity which bolsters the nation or hurts other is perfectly acceptable. It was this type of governing that allowed many criminal parties to base in Osmadia and orchestrate their less than respectable dealing in other lands.​

Wild and reckless as a lord, his deviancy has formed into more and undertone, wherein that he may act as sagely and dignified as perfectly as any other sovereign leader even while desecrating a subdued slave. He doesn't hide how depraved he and his nation are, and even with his honeying way with words there was no denying how much pride he emanates at the fact. Many Osmadians hope his twin sons, Viro and Argo, will follow his footsteps and grow out of their current streak of wild endeavors.​

Accepted! I've never seen any really evil nations during my time on this website.


A couple problems would be the savage orcs and enthralled werewolves. Savage orcs are the most xenophobic race on Eidan. Feral werewolves cannot be tamed.
