"Tch.", Jirou took a deep sigh and shrugs his hand away from Ryo. ".... D-Don't... Ugh, forget it.", he says and walks ahead, catching up with the others. He didn't even know what he was trying to say. He looked up at the others, staring daggers into Ayame's and Nalini's back. He perks up a bit though seeing the last student who awoke. Yamanaka Taneko, wasn't it? He jogged up to him and Yui and smiled with tired eyes, "Sorry if I'm intruding on your guy's conversation but I wanted to apologize for how I acted back there! It's Yamanaka and Yui, right? I'm Jirou Umeki.", he said to them. These two seemed nice so hopefully it'll calm his brain a little.

Maki stayed silent as she trailed the path with the others. Staying as far away as possible from them but still in earshot of everybody. She kept her arms crossed as she tapped her left hand against her right arm. It was kinda a habit that she did whenever alone. She then tried to think. They all passed out in some form or another, they were all SHSL, and on their way to Hope's Peak Academy... Just what did it mean? Why take them? They filled up a whole class, its too obvious the cops would find them. She continued to think but little did she know she had been accidentally mumbling all her thoughts.

ryo couldn't help but giggle at the soft licks of the little rabbit. “aww! i’m happy then,” he responds fondly, holding out his hand for yukiu to smell. ryo seemed absolutely delighted at the interaction, but to ren’s next statement, he nods, standing up to full height. he wasn't that tall, but ren seemed close to the ground in comparison. ‘would it be polite if i moved back down…?’ he thought to himself. he wasn't entirely sure, so he kept his feet firmly planted into the sand. at ayame’s interjection, he tilted his head.

“oh, sure it does. the day of the month you switch phones?” he said, his eyes blank with uncertainty. his blank stare continued throughout her ‘joke’, his eyes darting back towards ren as if to try and ask him what she was even saying. it didn't really make sense - most people knew that rabbits only ate vegetables and mochi, right? when she clarified what she was doing, ryo laughed again, turning his full attention back to ren.

“of course – i’m ryo! asato. it’s-” before he could get anything else out, he found himself distracted by jirou and ayame’s exchange. oh jeez. he pushed back some of bangs, smiling still, but feeling a little awkward about it. it seemed tense, and he wasn’t really sure what it was about, or if he should say anything, and it was all kinda weird now. he pauses for a moment, looking away for a moment, before turning back to ren.

“…yeah.” he adds, seconding jirou’s sentiment, but with a noticeable confusion. he gives rin an earnest smile. “jirou's right; you shouldn't worry. yukiu came all the way from the moon to make you happy, y'know?” with that, he starts to hum, reaching back down toward yukiu to pet his ears.

Ren stopped shaking as Ryo continued his introduction and took his encouraging words closer to his heart "...T...Thank you, R-Ryo..." he told the taller boy, smiling again. Yukiu looked at Ryo happily as her ears were pet, grateful he was able to cheer her master up "I-"

She soon looked over to Jirou, his response was rather blatant, to say the least, "A noble knight protecting such a little prince, I presume I'm the antagonist, but all I'm doing Jirou is saying the obvious, he needs to realize his faults to become stronger, or else everyone else is going to be stepping on him as if he was a sidewalk, yes? That's is my father's philosophy I have shared to you." She says as she turns to Ren and walks up to him. "So do realize that I'm just trying to make you stronger, that's what father did." She says in a low voice and gave a rather blank smile as she looked over to Ryu, "He came from the moon, such fantasy." She says playing with her hair again, looking at Kyou now, "Did you tell us your SHSL by any chance or did it go over my head?"

Ren's face turned to horror as she made her remark, a horrible memory slapping him in the face "..." he started shuddering again, and Yukiu looked like she wanted to bite the girl's limbs off. Yet Ayame was right, he was too weak..."Ehehe, I...I...Y...You're right, I'm too...weak..." he felt like crying, he felt like crying so much, but that would just make him weaker "I...I've always been...too...too...t-t-too" his legs wanted to collapse as they shook from underneath him "too...too..." he trailed off, losing his voice. From then on he stayed still, to lost in his thoughts that he stopped paying attention to the world around him. Unable to hear the argument that Ayame and Jirou were having, unable to hear the others defuse it. Stuck in his own mind for the longest time, until Yukiu managed to wake him up with a soft bite to the arm "!" a quick inaudible shreik erupted from Ren's mouth "Y-Yukiu?!" he looked down at his bunny, as reality came back to him. She looked terrified for him "Y-Yukiu..." he hugged her closer "I'm sorry, I-I need to be stronger..."

Kyou smirked at Ayame, but sadly that was something he would not(or put better, could not?) yet disclose "Well-" before he could say anything; however, Jirou suddenly decided to act tough—and Ayame's rebuttals were nothing less than than what he'd expect. She had quite a way with ripping off the sensitive scabs, huh? He chuckled lightly, being here with her was going to be better than he'd thought. Promptly, he started to follow the others, only stopping to look back at the shivering boy "Hey, rabbit boy~ Might want to snap out of your episode and hurry up, don't you think~?" he snickered, continuing on his way "Don't want to get left behind, do you~?"

Ren heard his words, but...he just collapsed onto the floor "I...I'll catch up with you all" Ren replied, broken and covered in tears "I need t-to...catch my breath"

Yamanaka smiled and then looked back at the boy...who walked up to them. "Oh..Um... Hi there! Yeah, my name is Yamanaka SHSL Mountain climber. Nice to meet you Jirou!"

Jirou chuckled, "I can tell! You certainly have the muscles for it, despite your height~", he winked at him, trying to get back to his usual self. "And I'm the SHSL Acrobat.", he finished his introduction. He looked to Yui and made a sound of approvement, "Well, yeah. We did find ourselves on a beach surrounded by strangers who are also SHSL's. And now we are following a ominous sign!", he took a small sigh and smiled at them again, "I don't play much video games unfortunately... Don't have the time too. Can you explain why this like a video game?", because if it was then it's a really crappy game. But he wasn't going to say that.

"...t...thank you, r-ryo..." ryo smiled gratefully at both of their responses, his heart suddenly feeling much lighter for it. all of these people were sort of being weird, but at least he was managing to do something for someone good. he didn't have very much time to revel in this small joy, however, before something else had started. as he turns to check up on jirou, the corners of his mouth turn down and a hiss of air runs through his teeth as he hears what the other male has gotten up to in the meantime. he wants to say anything to diffuse the tension, to try and stop whatever's happening from going on, but he's not sure what to say, if there's even anything he could say. his heart nearly leaps out of his chest as he watches jirou make good on his threats. instantly, he feels himself automatically leap forward to try and intercede. it's a close call, but once he has a good grip on jirou's arm, he feels the movement stop. 'phew...'

"let go!" he hears jirou shout indignantly, but ryo doesn't move, even an inch. he is rigidly still as he simply holds jirou's arm in place. ryo could feel his heart beating hard in his chest. violence wasn't good, and that's all he knew - he didn't know why this happened, or if it would happen again, and that was enough incentive to keep holding on. he can hear jirou weakly ask again, but while his grip loosens, he still holds on. he wasn't quite sure what he was waiting for, but eventually, jirou just gives up anyway, and shakes himself free. it makes ryo sigh quietly, but not quite in relief. he hoped this hadn't hurt his feelings at all. they had gotten off to such an amicable start, and then... well, wasn't this always how it went? one of his hands move to his hip and another to ruffling his hair exasperatedly. instead of going off and meeting more people, like he had wanted to, he just takes a moment to stare at the seashore, to try and get his spirits up again.

as he's looking around thoughtlessly, he happens to notice that ren and yukiu, his cute friends from before, was on the ground, obviously not in good shape. 'oh goodness. today's a bad luck day, isn't it?' he wonders, before rushing over to where the two were sitting. even ryo could tell there was something up with them. "hey," ryo starts quietly, as pleasantly melodic as always, but with a slight hint of concern to his voice. "are you alright? you don't seem well. i could... err..." he looks over to where the rest of the group is and blinks a little. oh, had he not noticed everyone was leaving? that was about how it went. he nearly laughs at his luck, but thinks better of it. he turns back toward ren. "carry you! ...if you need help." he reaches down, looking as if he wants to do something first, but his hand immediately clenches up, as if unsure. eventually, he seems to settle on very gently moving his hand over to ren's face, to see if he can't help dry his tears. he wasn't sure if that was okay, but he gives a gentle smile, trying to feign confidence in his actions in order to reassure him.

Ren heard Ryo's voice and perked up slightly, seeing Ryo towering above him "R-Ryo..." he softly said, a weak smile appearing on his face "I...I'm f-" he paused as Ryo purposed carrying him "Eh?" he blinked, confused "A-Ah, um..." he blushed awkwardly "N-No, t-that f...fine! I-" he paused again; looking down at Yukiu, a bit sad that she had to see him act like this—then up at Ryo, hopefully "B-But you..." he never thought "...C-Can..." he could trust someone again "...Carry Y-Yukiu though..." he was wrong "...I-If...If you want!" because now...he had a friend. A true friend, and he wanted so badly to put all his trust in him. Ren rose to his feet, still looking up at Ryo—and smiled brightly again.

She fixed her hat and soon started to speak to new awoken and already moving person, "I haven't met a man short as yourself as a mountain climber, without any offenses, my aunt use to mountain climb, but ended up losing both of her legs trying to climb quite a steep mountain, our family continuously tell her to use a wheelchair, but she always says she's better off with only using crutches, a strong formidable woman she was." She says as she takes a quick glance to Jirou, seeing what kind of reaction he would have. "I would hope you would be rather careful with your climbing, it would be rather saddening to have an SHSL Mountain Climber die from falling, you would call it, Irony, yes?" She says in a rather sarcastic way in the end of her sentence, she takes a quick look to see who's behind.

ryo could feel his heart lighten again as ren offers to let him hold yukiu. stuff was kind of crazy right now, so he was especially glad he could meet someone so sweet like this. "of course!" he says readily, his excitement apparent. "it's an honor." once ren rises to his feet, ryo bends over to softly help pick up yukiu from his arms. once he has him safely carried, he immediately starts to beam with pride. yukiu is one of the softest and warmest things he's ever felt, and feeling the gentle movement of small life in his arms is one of the coolest things ryo has ever experienced. he waits for a moment, readjusting to make sure that yukiu is comfortable, before nodding happily.

"if we're ready, we can head out!" ryo chirps to ren. "and hey, let me know if you need anything?" he looks toward ren for a moment, almost seriously, before nodding again and moving on ahead. slow and steady at first - to readjust to yukiu in his arms and to give ren a moment to object or catch up, before moving ahead at his normal pace toward the group. it doesn't take too long to catch up, since they weren't too far out, but he nods toward the group. "hey~! sorry we're late. i got lost in the view of the ocean!" he says happily, a ditzy grin wide on his face.

Yamanaka listened to the conversations between Yui and Jirou and looked back and saw Ayame... was it? "Ah... My shortness. Well, my parents were practically giants and I somehow became short. It's weird I would say." He laughed to himself and then she mentions him dying from falling. He knew it always was a possibility but never really thought about it. "Well, I know the dangers of Mountain climbing and I accept the consequences if it does happen... and Irony yeah...." Nalini slowly walks behind the group just watching.

She was just so wonderfully interesting, and he wished to learn more of her "Indeed" he agreed with her "Though it would also be morbidly hilarious to see that happen~" his grin grew "I jest, of course~" he then brushed through his own hair again "And I must say, I can't wait to see why all of us were kidnapped~ Perhaps they want Hope's Peak to pay a ransom?"

He mentally sighed as he looked up and saw a black Gothic fence.... And a owl atop it? "Um, gu-!", but he was cut off. By who? Well....

~I laugh as I finally see them approaching!

Yamanaka looks at the gothic fence and sighs. Then he saw the most wonderful creature ever. An owl. He walks farther up to it and is about to pet it but it laughs. He backs up and then it talks. He looks a little freaked out but then goes back up to it. Am I insane he looks all around and sees nothing? Kenjin is confused. "Can someone please tell me this owl didn't just talk~"

ryo strolled along alongside of the group and ren, a little in awe of the growing weird black scenery, when he heard jirou get cut off by a tiny voice. "hello students!" ryo's eyes sparkled with an innocent joy as he found himself greeted by a tiny owl. "oh, cool!" ryo says excitedly, moving closer to the owl to try and inspect it. "i always knew animals could talk... who are you, mister?" ryo asks with a giggle, making what was, of course, the obvious joke.

When Ren first saw the owl, he felt like squealing with delight "Ah!" he ran in front of the others "You're so cute~!♥" he squeaked, disregarding the fact it just spoke and running near it "Can I pet you? I wanna pet you!♥" he said, speaking in a way he only did with cute animals.

Kyou erupted in laughter, unable to believe it "This just keeps getting more and more wonderful!" he said, looking at the owl after calming himself "Hello to you, Mr. Owl~ Nice to meet you~"

Despite the others brave acts of talking to this thing, Maki was horrified. It was a stuffed owl that talked! She stayed quiet though, refusing to say a thing to anybody or it. She closed her eyes tight, and kept praying that this just a terrible dream.

Ren continued smiling, chasing after Ryo "Okay, I will" he assured as they caught up to the group. He was oh so giddy to have a friend, and one who would respect Yukiu as much as he would. He was flying high on a cloud as far as his spirit, and he loved it.

Giving a quick look at Kuro, with him agreeing with her statement and such, hearing him saying ""I jest," once again, Ayame made a snappy comment,"You seem like to be the definition of a sit-com character's phrase, if they wanted us for ransom they would put us in a more dangerous situation." She soon founder her interrupted by a rather strange owl,black and white it was. Noticing the Ren and Ryo going around it in a playful matter, she soon snapped her fingers quite loudly, "What are you two doing, cut it at once! Are you trying to get un endangered or something!?" She soon pointed at the owl, "You, Owl, tell us right now what we are doing here immediately!" She says in a demanding order, even if she said it in a rather demanding way she still felt a sense of dread leaning on her.

Do you really think we're going to do this for your entertainment, people are going to know we're missing, what will you do about that?!" She says hoping the Rebuttle would startle the owl.

Ren's happy mood suddenly and spontaneously shattered once again, and his flowery voice faded away "W-What?!" had this cute little owl said what he thought he had "B-But w-why? W-Why make us...kill each other?!" he asked, hysterically scared "Are...A-Are you joking with us?" his whole body trembled in fear, was this really happening?!

Kyou simply smiled, he did nothing but smile "Oh...That explains it" he said, plainly looking over at Ayame for her reaction. She was shouting rebuttals at the owl, and he simply listened to her rebuttals. Finding no fear come to him from this announcement at all.

ryo ignored ayame's demands to move away from the owl and continued to stare in awe. when he was referred to, he winked at the owl, appreciating the recognition. though the rest of what he was saying was saying was going sort of above his head. symbols of hope? that was a funny thing to call them all. though he had heard his grandmother say something similar about their generation, once. maybe this owl was an older man? he started to count on his fingers, trying to remember how long owls lived to try and calculate how old he'd be. once he heard the word killing though, he stopped in his tracks. that was... sort of a macabre joke for such a cheery sounding owl. it didn't even make sense. a killing 'game'? that wasn't really a game anyone could have fun in. maybe that was the punchline?

ryo grimaced. "i don't really get it..." he admits, looking around for some sort of clue as to what everyone was thinking. a lot of people seemed to be in distress about it, but some of them were still smiling, so maybe none of them got the joke? still, ayame and ren's objections were enough to sink a pit into his stomach. owls were birds of ill omen. he has always suspected they had a funny sense of humor about death, but... he could only be joking, right? he tries to lighten up a little and nervously smile, petting yukiu with the palm of one of the hands that he was holding him with.

"could you, uh, clarify, mister? i think you're making everyone nervous."

I only sighed happily hearing Ms. Ikeda's rebuttal, "Shouting isn't going to get you nowhere.", I informed her first, then I spoke to everybody, "And I meant precisely what I said. Kill each other. I'm sorry if that makes you nervous but that's just how a killing game goes! Annnnnd... People won't know your missing. You see, a tragedy happened. A terrible tragedy. That only brought despair, and despair- Ah, I'm getting off track. Point is, people won't know."~

Jirou shook from where he stood. He had been quiet so far. But that quietness soon died as he shouted, "Shut up! What the hell are you talking about you stupid owl?! Who even are you?!", he took a step towards the owl ready to beat it because-

~Someone has a temper problem! I laughed as I told Mr. Umeki one of the rules, "Ah, ah, ah Mr. Umeki! If you hurt your camp counselor then you'll be badly punished! And you don't want that, do you? I'm aware you can be a little masochistic~!", I chuckle as I watch his eyes widen as he tries and fumble around in his brain for words. But, I already know what he's going to say so I carry on,

"I'm such a bad camp counselor though! I forgot to introduce myself! I am the one and only Monofu.", suddenly, a bright pink box drops from the sky and I open it with my beak, "Now, what I am about to hand you is your cards! Annd, these aren't any cards but waterproof cards! Oh, and they also have your's and everyone's basic profiles. Like an ID of sorts, except it's technology based. And these Monofu rules are important too.", I hand everyone their cards and the handbook to a very fun, long, vacation here at camp.~​

Ren stood, horrified as he was referred to by this...this...what ever this was; it definitely wasn't an owl. It was a monster, and they were it's prey. Before he knew it, he was back to how he usually was, silent and unable to speak. Even if he wanted to, no noise could come from him anymore. He only shakily accepted his handbook and inspected it, true to Monofu's word his profile was there—as well as Ryo and the others. Did he steal everyone's information from the school when he kidnapped them? And...how did he do this in the first place?! Ren couldn't think of any type of an explanation this at all, and walked over to Ryo in silence—hoping being in his presence would calm him as he read through rules of this 'game'.

Kyou listened to the owl make its speech with interest; everyone's reactions to this, he expected, would be humorous. The part about a tragedy caught his interest in particular, and he made note of it for later. He heard Jirou throw a tantrum again, but this time at the owl, and laughed after owl's response "Ohoho, that would be humorous to see...Jirou, you never struck me as that type~" his grin looked so lighthearted now, and he brought a hand to his face to hide his chuckles "I'm jesting, of course~" he quickly assured, his smile never fading. When the owl introduced itself as Monofu, he took a bow "A pleasure to meet you, Monofu~" and promptly took his handbook, looking through it with great interest.

Jirou's face reddened as Kuro commented on the fucker's response, he snatched his handbook from Monofu and turned away from the group. It wasn't something he was proud of and just- Ugh. He opened the book and, tried, to read through everyone's files but quickly got a headache. He closed it and decided he will at night. Because he noticed, the sun was already going down. Which was freaking weird. Considering it was high in the sky with no clouds.. He sighs, Ya'know what? Not gonna question it. And it was probably for the best. He tuned in on Monofu's speech.

~"A pleasure to meet you too Mr. Mauchi.", I said to him and continued handing out the books.I fly back to the gate, landing on top and tell my students, "Now, if you would please follow me. Since it appears it is getting night I'll show you to your cabins! And on our way there you are free to ask any concerns you have.", and with that, the gates further into the camp opened and landed on the ground. Considering it would be easier to walk with my students instead of flying. On the way up there they will see this tan brown path split into four. Though there will be a giant white wooden building in the middle of the split path. The students will soon find out that that's the cafeteria/play room. If they check the maps in their handbooks, they will see the 2nd path is where their cabins lay.​
