  Isolde tries to maintain an aura of grace and elegance due to her upbringing and social status. She is fairly tall at 5'7" though she is still much shorter than her father and brothers. Her straight ebony hair - when not elaborately styled - falls just a little lower than her shoulders. Isolde was very light skinned from the moment she was born and does what she can to maintain her fair skin; such as not spending too much time outside.
  
  
  Personality
  
  Isolde has a very demure temperament. She isn't one to really raise her voice in anger but rather silently seethe. Under her gentle appearance is an endless curiosity that leads her to seek knowledge beyond etiquette, dance, and duties of being a lady. She only expresses her interests and fascinations with those she trusts which are only a handful of people.

  Isolde was born into title, wealth, and privilege. She spent the first seven years of her life living with her family that consisted of her father and two older brothers. Her mother had died when she was only two years old due to child bed fever after the birth of her younger sister who also died. It was perhaps during the time of her mother's illness that Isolde began having a curious fascination with medicine.
  
  
  It was only a few weeks after Isolde's birthday that she was sent to live with her uncle's family and to be taught the skills of a lady; etiquette, manners, dancing, and many other things. Beyond being taught the duties of being a good wife and proper lady she was also taught archery and botany (from the alchemist her uncle employed). It was through botany that Isolde learned the names and meanings of flowers, herbs, and may other plants. Through this she learned to make home remedies as well as poisons.

  She was ecstatic when her tutor had brought her some unusual flowers. She already knew all the local flora by heart and had even begun to preserve them by pressing. She preferred this method or preservation as letting the flowers hang to dry let them brown and dead. Pressing allowed them to retain much of their color. These new flowers would come with new names, new meanings, and new uses. She was eager to learn from the alchemist. Her uncle had originally been against allowing her to study botany more in-depth but she eventually her aunt had convinced her to permit it.
  
  
  As the elderly man patiently introduce the flowers to her by their common name he would ask her what she assumed about the flower; its purpose and meaning. She usually answered wrongly since she was still learning to look beyond a flower's appearance. Some of the most lovely flowers were actual the most deadly. They could lure you in with a sweet fragrance and their beauty and one would be none the wiser of the dangerously innocent flower. This is what fascinated her; that such beauty could be so deadly.
