June 6th, 1944. The squad and I loaded into our DUWK like every other soldier on the ship, and began the approach to Utah beach. This was it, the moment where we chose to live or die. Artillery shells began to pound the water around us, sending droplets onto our helmets, making the fog and cold that much worse. The kids, some younger than I was, began vomiting onto the DUWK's floor. One of my squad mates, James "J-Burn" Samson, turned to me, with a pale look on his face. "Can't this duck go any faster?!" He shouted at me. "Two and a half tons and all-wheel drive? Just be glad it floats!" I shouted back at him. Then, the driver called out to us. "Clear the ramp! Thirty seconds! God be with you!" I turned to my squad mates, and began barking orders. "Ok, when we hit the beach, I want heavy weapons to move up first. Run fast and clear those murder holes! I'd better see lots of space between men. I do not want to lose my entire squad to a single mortar round! Grab those guns, cross-check your ammo, and move fast! I'll see you on the beach!" The driver called out to us. "Ten seconds!" I tore the plastic cover off of my Tompson SMG, loaded a clip and cocked back the slide. "Good luck, and may god have mercy on us all!" Then, we hit the beach, the ramp dropped, and all hell broke loose.

So this is the actual in-character RP as from what you may tell, although before you get started RPing, you need to go to the sign-up tab and make a character. How do you do this? Well, all you have to do is copy and paste, shred off the (Optional)s and then once I approve, you can start RPing. Also, Easy company never did hit the beach, they parachuted in the night before the landing.
