Futuristic Cypress Collegium

Jade smiled slightly at the professors words, possibly the closest thing to a compliment one can get from the man. Though given the level of tech he worked with and what he was able to accomplish it was understandable. Jade found it frustrating at times to deal with people as this level she could only guess at the level of irritation a top tier engineer had when dealing with everyone else. She nodded slightly “I shall try my best.” She assured knowing reaching the level of Ministrator was nearly impossible for most. Still she had hopes, if she didn’t die first.

She looked over to the pale student who entered their conversation and nearly rolled her eyes at the question. She noticed Absolanz tense up and pause a moment feeling bad for the man. The soldier managed to get off easy compared to the rants she had overheard Absolanz go on before. She nodded slightly before turning and moving back to work station. She sighed as she over looked Lightning figuring out the best way to start disassembling the suit for the reworking. “Specs first then work” She reminded herself setting the detached arm back with the rest of the suit and clearing off the desk before pulling up several diagrams and schematic’s of lightning on a large holo-screen.

Hunter stood, completely at a loss for what the others were talking about. Modification kits, flexsteel, machinators... Hunter's head was spinning as he tried to keep up. He would have snapped at Jade for the unexpected scan, had more and more people not entered the room. Too many people. He compacted his pulse baton and clipped it back in its holster, gave a curt thanks for the charge blade repair, putting that in its own holster, then made a hasty exit. Everyone was interacting, and there wasn't a single weapon pointed at anyone else! Hunter had concluded long ago that his race was outside the norm of social customs, but this was too much to adjust to at once. Loping through the door, Hunter could barely focus enough to think with all the talking going on. Work in shady deals meant hushed tones and the occasional death gurgle, further back, the loudest thing one would hear on Basidia would be some drunk ta'alin screaming his right to challenge to combat at a barstool. After a good two minutes of walking in calming silence, Hunter found the elevator to his dorm, glad the Commanding Officer wasn't lying when he mentioned the instant elevators.

Hunter grabbed his satchel from before off the table and selected one of the beds at random. He pulled his whetstone from one of the satchel pockets and calmed his nerves by meticulously sharpening each of his bladed weapons, not stopping until a slight tap with the blade would draw blood from his fingertip. When he was done with his knives, Hunter would move on to cleaning and maintaining his guns, a process that Hunter found peace in as a guard. He absentmindedly hummed a soothing lullaby his nurse would sing when he was a young whelp. The entire situation was rather surreal from an objective standpoint: one of the deadliest hunters in parsecs of this place, maintaining a large collection of deadly weapons that really shouldn't have been possible to conceal, and humming a soft tune akin to Ludwig van Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.

Dylan walked over to his workstation again ready to write up schematics for the incorporation of the new material and replacement of the old carbonite plates, the work was going to be long and complex. The whole process was going to take multiple hours, more than a few wields and hell of a lot of calibration, but patience was a trait Dylan had in abundance. As he set out to work on the schematics, process and programs needed he paused. Something had missed his attention earlier. That now was slightly concerning. He leaned back looking at his fellow engineer. "Jade? what do you mean by some of your experiments had...volatile results? Also, when you say volatile we talking, the fuel sell exploded volatile? Or are we talking about levels that rival that barrel incident?"

@Shura

Jade glanced away from the monitor as she started taking apart the 3d hologram of lighting down to the bare bones. It was rather fascinating to see the different components scattered about separate from the actual body. There too many pieces to count to say the least. "Hm? Many of my projects over the summer dealt with energy and power, trying to find a way to have unstable plasma weaponry." She explained as she stared at the hologram starting to do calculations in her head. "eh... it was about in par. The projects themselves never really got off the ground, theoretical simulations have varying results. Most of which involved death or mutilation. The weapons themselves worked beautiful though. Need a lot more research though."

@Der Kojote

Ikreth looked around the room as people started to disperse into their own groups. He had followed one of the people that seemed to be speaking a language very similar to english but not something that Ikreth actually understood. After they had moved over to workstation he listened to their babble as it went on and on. Ikreth tried as much as he could to understand what they were saying but he failed to do so as he felt as if he were on another separate planet. The only sentences he understood was the comment about theoretical death and mutilation weapons which did not sound too pleasant no matter which side you were on.

When there was a momentary pause in the conversation he took the moment to strike. "Excuse me, but may I ask what you are doing? It looks like magic but I am aware it is some form of technology." He spoke trying not to make himself seem completely inept with technology but he felt as if they were going to see him as a barbarian no matter what he said. The work desk was filled to the brim with things he did not recognize so he kept his arms behind his back to avoid touching anything. "I apologize if I came off as rude earlier, my home planet did not grow up with 'needless' technology." He stated knowing there was only a handful of races that followed the same idea as 'little to no technology' rule.

As Aiden examined the exo-suit, a woman pulled up next to him, saying that his exo-suit has definitely seen some better days. Aiden couldn't help but to laugh a little and agree with that. "Yeah, you can say that again..." He responded, lightly patting the exo-suit's chest plate. His attention was then reverted to the woman, who seemed to have recognized him from before. "Yes, that's right." Aiden said with a nod, and stood there examining her for a moment. "You're..." He hesitated for a moment as he tried to remember what her name was. After seeing her, he knew for sure that she had come up every now and then since he started here. With that note, she's most likely a Legionnaire, too.

How could he have missed someone he started his education here with? Possibly because of how large this academy is, no doubt. Shit... Aiden thought to himself as he scratched the back of his head, and then snapped his fingers. "Right! You're Erika, correct? I hear quite a good deal about your reflexes out in the field. To the point where I even think that that is very impressive." He said, then turned back to his exo-suit.

Aside from Aiden being more of the commander type esque, he's considerably very well behind a sniper rifle, which is one of the various things he is proud of. He's determined to get even better than how he is now, of course. He then wondered what Erika specializes in. Aside from her being an obvious soldier, that is. "But yeah, this thing definitely needs some new upgrades... Maybe more than some." Aiden continued as he examined the armor, almost picking at one of it's scratches with his fingers.

He quickly turned back to Erika again after wondering how to go about it with switching this bad boy's armor up. "You've got any ideas on how I can upgrade it's armor? I'm looking to have a tanky build as far as the armor plating goes; something that will help it be able to withstand a freakin' ion cannon, if possible."

@AshenLily

Jade looked over to the soldier student that had been politely scolded Fie earlier. She wasn't exactly surprised by the question though it was a sign that he was willing to at least understand which was a step in the right direction. She thought a moment on how to use basic terms finding herself getting a little better at it with practice. "The... core of my suit is currently out dated. Most end up being that way since changing it out is always very difficult once modification have been made. The new suits being supplied by the academy is the best currently so I'm planing to change out the core. It involves mostly involves taking everything apart, rebuilding and refitting for differences with in the core models. " She explained while dragging around bits and pieces on the hologram leaving just a base suit which as fitted as the current ones but offered far less protection and power.

"Right! You're Erika, correct? I hear quite a good deal about your reflexes out in the field. To the point where I even think that that is very impressive."

Erika raised an eyebrow at the boy's response. She'd thought herself a pretty low key person, considering she kept to herself and her studies for the most part. Obviously, that wasn't entirely correct. She smiled in return, allowing her pride a moment to shine through. "Well, I've been told that I am fairly young to already have advanced to a Legionnaire--" she stopped abruptly, reminding herself that no one really liked to hear about how advanced she was. Or so she'd heard.

"You've got any ideas on how I can upgrade it's armor? I'm looking to have a tanky build as far as the armor plating goes; something that will help it be able to withstand a freakin' ion cannon, if possible."

Leaning closer to get a better look at the suit, Erika couldn't help but laugh at Aiden's enthusiasm. She thought for a moment, the smile that had momentarily appeared, now replaced with a frown. When it came to exo-suits, she wasn't very technically skilled. While others preferred to make modifications, Erika simply used what she was given. She appeared the relative simplicity of an unmodified suit, being the lightest it could possibly be, allowing for maximum maneuverability and versatility. She hadn't particularly cared about the inner workings of the suits, until just recently, which led to her taking the course. "Umm. Well, I think you could maybe... uhh..." she blushed furiously, as her attempt to work out some elaborate recommendation failed miserably. "Well, really, truth be told, I haven't really worked with suits much. I use them when necessary, of course, but that's it. I've never really done any modifications, or anything, so unfortunately I don't really have any recommendations that would be helpful. Hell, I wouldn't even know where to begin. Sorry." She shrugged her shoulders slightly. A Legionnaire who had no idea where to begin when it came to exo-suit modification. How quaint. When it came to the act of combat, or her mastery over her own Cybernetics, Erika was quite confident that she was probably the best at the school, of any others who were judged to be around her same skill level (woah, girl. Your ego's gettin' kinda huge). Suit Mastery was easily her weakest subject, and she hated admitting it.

@Darksoul90

After hearing Erika's response, Aiden couldn't help but to smile a bit. "That's completely understandable, Erika. To tell you the truth..." He stopped as he shyly scratched the back of his head. "I'm... I'm not so great at this, either. I mean, I understand the concept of it, but not enough to really get by. I would just leave it here, and someone ends up fixing it right up for me. I don't want to keep pushing that luck, though, which is why I'm taking this class to understand it more than what I know now." Aiden said, then let out a soft chuckle. "I suppose I've got to start taking responsibility with taking care of this bad boy." He continued, then stopped as he glanced over to the scars on his armor. That was pretty much why he had asked for some recommendation, though. Even though he was exceptionally well with using an exo-suit, his in particular, he doesn't really have much knowledge as far as repairing it and switching armor plates goes. He somewhat has an idea as to how to modify an exo-suit, but that's pretty much it.

"Eh, least I have until the Grand Duels..." He muttered to himself as he lifted the whole armor back up with his right hand again, walked over to his locker, gently placed it in there, and closed the locker back up. He then walked back over to Erika's side, and examined the others in the room. Maybe afterwards he could get Jade; who after a while Aiden was able to remember robot girl's name, to fix it up if she has the time. That's if she doesn't go on with how badly he mistreated his exo-suit... But, after mentioning the Grand Duels, he couldn't help but to wonder whether Erika will be participating or not. The answer is probably obvious, though, considering how skilled she is.

"Say, are you planning to join the Grand Duels?"

So it turns out Aiden didn't really know much about suit modification, either. That was a relief. At least Erika wasn't quite as far behind as she'd initially thought she was, in that aspect.

"Say, are you planning to join the Grand Duels?"

Erika nodded excitedly. "I am. I've actually been really excited to hear more about them. I'm not entirely sure how they're going to work out, though. All I've really heard thus far is that it's essentially a competition of the best and brightest between us and other War Academies. Kind of a shame, though. Having all of the most skilled students from each Academy trying to kill each other off seems like it might be a bit of a waste. All in the name of progress, though, I guess." Again, she smiled. "My Cybernetics have seen quite a bit of improvement, though, so I'm pretty anxious to test them out. There's still a lot of room for improvement in that area, as well, though. Of course. Yet another class I'm looking forward to! How about yourself? Are you planning on entering the Grand Duels?"

@Darksoul90

Dylan was rapidly typing on the data-pad lines of code flooded the screen, the great thing about his first cybernetic mod, with near istant recall, coding really was a damn breeze. He was momentarily distracted as some new person asked what he was doing. "Programming system specs, I'm always behind on software and hardware, so I've had to compensate with some...inventive ...means. Mainly doing it myself." he tapped in a few more lines before putting it down. He took out a small cord and plugged it into the data-pad. he looked at his little bot "Arach, open up." the little bot sat down on the table. As it did, a small port opened up. on the top. Dylan then plugged the cord into the port. "Arach, spin your web." There was a soft hum as more lines of code sprawled across the screen.

He looked back at the stanger. "He's sorting code. replicating it, making it nice and neat. It's a really nice way of getting code done, Arach just uses the base code I wrote over 2 years for my Exo-suit, and any modifications I add to it. It's a nice way of optimizing the whole process. Still going to need to change the hardware and armored components on the scrappers, that's gonna be fun..."

@Godman873

Listening to both of them explain what they were doing was certainly educational, to a point. What the woman was doing he understood fine, it sounded like she was simply replacing a battery. "So you are replacing a battery in the exosuit like how you replace batteries in medical equipment?" Only once was Ikreth at a hospital back on his planet and he could say for sure that he wasn't incredibly fond of it. He understood what she said but whatever the spider thing and man were talking about was lost on him. Looking over his shoulder he looked at the datapad. "So what is 'coding'?" He asked wishing that he had known more about technology. "Is it anything like a book?" Ikreth struggled to wrap his mind around what the guy was trying to do. He made one last statement suddenly feeling a bit silly for asking them so many questions. "I apologize if my questions bother you. I am not familiar with technology and I would like to understand it so some degree."

Lunch has officially started

Feel free to stay and mingle, or move on to do something else

Timeskip for the rest of today will be released either tonight (in 17 hours or so) or tomorrow, depending on how I feel.

Illya stayed quiet as she followed Aiden towards the gym, focusing on trying to memorize the route they were taking instead of trying to engage in a conversation, which was hard enough as it was with there still being a ridiculous amount of new species of aliens that were catching her eye every time they rounded a corner, stealing her attention away from the memorization process, and, before she knew it, they had arrived, and she had no idea how they got there. He sighed quietly in disappointment with herself, her attention span hadn't been the past over the past few years but this... this was a new record, she hadn't even been able to focus on a walk that was only a few minutes long, and was likely to get lost in the future because of it.

Well. Whatever. It wasn't like she could do anything about it now was it?

Entering the gym, it was, unsurprisingly, rather light in population. She'd kind of expected it to be like this, like really, what kind of boring schmuck would come and visit the gym of all places when there were exosuits, cybernetics, and psionic junk to go and check out instead? The answer was, the lost looking Devian standing in the doorway. No, no, there was no need for her to think all negatively like that, she'd probably be coming here the most out of all her classes, so this was the logical choice right? Right.

She stayed quiet as she looked around the gym, simply nodding in thanks as Aiden made his leave. Looking around the gym she was surprised by how spacious it was, though, she supposed she should have expected it with how grand everything else in this place had been so far, that goddamn orientation room could probably have fit her old apartment in it tenfold without an issue. Of the few people in the gym, the teacher, an intimidating thirty-something looking man, was pretty easy to pick out, and, as there didn't seem to be much else to do at the moment, she decided to introduce herself and approached him, her bare feet padding quietly across the floor.

"Um.. Excuse me, Are you the teacher here? I thought I'd introduce myself while I was here so..." She said, pausing for a moment before imitating the bow Aiden had preformed when they had met in the elevator, assuming it was the standard introduction for this place, though it came out a bit more hasty and rushed than she would have liked but she resumed her introduction none the less, figuring a second try would just make her look like more of an idiot than her shoddy attempt at a single one. "I'm Illya, this is my first year, so uh... Nice to meet you?"

Aiden smiled to Erika's response, and leaned back on the workbench. "Yeah, that's as much as I was able to gather, too, as far as how they're going to do this whole Grand Duels thing. I'm not even sure if they pick our contestants by random, or if engineers can even participate. My best guess is that they're going to have just one squad of those the principal thinks are the most skilled here at the academy. Not entirely sure yet." He started as he crossed his arms, "And no doubt there will be pretty skilled opponents, as you said. Not so much of a waste, though. If they're trying to figure out who the best of the best is, that is." Aiden said as he examined the engineers here. He wondered if they were even planning to join, too.

Aiden listened to Erika some more about her cybernetics, and he couldn't help but to agree. "I'm honestly anxious to test mine out too. I may even end up adding some more modifications before the Grand Duels start." Aiden said with a soft laugh. He even wondered what exactly he should add that would help him in a battle. He wasn't all up for manipulating elements or anything like that like the others, but he figured that it wouldn't help to try, at least. His full attention was then reverted to her question.

"Yes,"
he began with a nod, "I've been waiting all this time to join; to finally be able to prove myself, no matter the strength of my opponents. Just the fact that this academy's first Grand Duels was going to start soon is making my adrenaline rush." He stopped, then stared at Erika. "Hopefully you and I can make it, and crush the competition while we're at it."

@AshenLily

Jade looked up from her work at the comparing of what she was doing to a battery her eye twitching slightly. This was far more complicated than simply changing a battery! Before she could inform him of the fact he moved on to ask Dylan more questions. Honestly how could you even compare the two tasks! She took in a deep breath remembering to not be 'rude' even if her rant was completely justified "The core of the suit is much more than just a battery. It is essentially the.... skeletal system of the suit. Its what the pilot wears to directly control it." She corrected. "As for coding it is the brain of the suit. While most don't need anything further than basic function and monitoring those with heavy modification need codes in order to properly function." She explained while staring at the schematic of the new suit comparing it to the original core. She crossed her arms as she stared at the two images side by side making small notes on the new one as to where components would attach to rearranging the model as a draft.

Dylan looking at his datapad nodded after Jade had finished her rant, "Yeah what she said." looking over at her staring at the images side by side he added, "right arm on the second one looks a little off." With that he stood up and stretched. "Alright, Lunch time is on the clock, if you excuse me I'm going to enjoy my first meal in a month or two that didn't come out of a tin. If I have to eat greasy Secturian rat meat again, I don't think my digestive system will forgive me." He turned to Jade, "You going to eat or work through lunch again? Wait...never-mind your working on lightning. That question answers itself." He picked up his data pad, and let arach climb up onto his shoulder. He was halfway out the door when he turned, and then said to no one in particular, "If any first year wants a guide to the cafeteria, follow me on the way out." He quickly muttered under his breath. "God have mercy I would kill for a halfway decent cheeseburger."

Ikreth listened to the two of them. "Coding is like the brain of the suit? Huh." He thought about it and this time he could actually fully understand it. "Alright, that makes sense now. I apologize for my ignorance." He heard the mention of lunch as Ikreth realized what time it was. "I am not hungry, just going to get my things settled in my room. Exiting the lab Ikreth looked down the hallway, most people were heading out for lunch but Ikreth had taken the instant travel lift to the level his room was on. Technology had usually confounded him but after two years he was finally beginning to understand it.

As he entered his dorm he noted any changes between the years that there might have been as he walked to a room with all his things in it. The most that Ikreth had brought were some clothes and a book or two. Books were one of the only ways to entertain yourself back at home and even then they were all handwritten so each book was unique. Due to the uniqueness of books you rarely kept one as they were usually traded so you could read new stories. He pulled out a book from his things, it was a dark story about a fallen Vakzi hunter who began to steal the blood of sentient beings, such an act was considered worse than murder. Blood was valuable and each Vakzi's was slightly different, while stealing blood was actually proven to lengthen your life longer than that of animals it always met with a beneficiary and a victim. The victim would be robbed of all his blood while the beneficiary's life would be extended greatly. Hence the reason the novel was considered 'dark', it was not a peasant story but quite a read. He opened the book careful not to damage the hand finished bindings or the elegant nithan leather that served as the cover. The paper was tinted tan from all its use as the edge of pages were torn and folded with use. Finally he began to read the book as he separated himself from distractions.

Elliott Carell

Elliott sat with his legs crossed in the center of the large dojo. His eyes were closed, but he knew everything that was going on around him. Partially due to cybernetics and partially due to hearing. The dojo was relatively empty, some old students were around, but few chose to speak to Elliott. Anyone who knew would know he's available, but he might look preoccupied, as if meditating.

"Um.. Excuse me, Are you the teacher here? I thought I'd introduce myself while I was here so... I'm Illya, this is my first year, so uh... Nice to meet you?"

He sat quietly for a moment without opening his eyes, and then said "Your posture is off. Your horns won't help you in a fight, so don't stand like you're ready to use them." He stood up and opened his bicoloured eyes, scanning the girl (not literally). "Yes. I am the instructor. Welcome Illya." After looking her over a couple of times, he shrugged, and added "You'll do nicely here. What do you fight with?"

(lameandshortmybadsorrygottago)

@The One Eyed Bandit

Jade let out a slight sound of irritation when Dylan pointed out a difference in the schematics, of course it was off! Things were barely pieced together! She just looked up at the younger student annoyance clear in her eyes when he asked if shes was going to lunch. Thankfully he answered the question, correctly, himself and left the other student promptly following him out. He was slow to say the least but for a Soldier at least he was willing to learn.

Jade, Perhaps you should go eat as well

"Later" She muttered letting out a long sigh. She started to piece things together taking not of alterations that would have to be made to have everything work together. She was only faintly aware of the synthetic voice encouraging her to to join the other students to eat. After a few minutes she simply turned to the small purple droid. "I said later, now pipe down before I disassemble you." She glowered effectively silencing Digit. With the distractions gone she could fully focus on the plans in front of her. She smiled slightly to herself as she found her focus and started to get some real work done, shutting out the rest of the world outside of her work space.

"And no doubt there will be pretty skilled opponents, as you said. Not so much of a waste, though. If they're trying to figure out who the best of the best is, that is."

Erika nodded in agreement. While it did initially seem like a waste, to potentially kill off some of the more skilled students in competitions, it did stand to reason that if they were looking for the absolute best, anything lost along the way would be done so for the cause of finding the absolute best there was.

Cybernetics definitely provided an edge. Skill was a large factor, as far as any fight was concerned, of course. However, in a fight with two equally skilled opponents, where one is able to move slightly faster, or is made slightly stronger, the one with the better Cybernetics was nearly guaranteed to win.

"Hopefully you and I can make it, and crush the competition while we're at it."

Erika nodded in agreement. That was exactly what she intended to do. The details were still really vague, and Erika couldn't help but wonder whether the fights would be to the death, or if there was a certain point at which the fights would be called. Confident, though she was, the idea of the possibility of death wasn't one she cherished. And when it came down to it, would she be required to fight students from Cypress? Though she wasn't particularly close to anyone here, the idea of possibly having to fight someone she knew (even only vaguely) was, quite frankly, terrifying. Again, Erika was reminded of why she had tried her best to avoid making any friends, in previous years. Death was an incredibly real thing, here at Cypress, and it wasn't something she coped well with.

Realizing that Aiden was staring at her, Erika suddenly turned her attention from her thoughts, and back to the boy. Maybe this whole 'friend' thing wasn't such a good idea, after all. Looking up at Aiden, she feigned a smile, as she noted the time. "Yeah. I'm sure we will." Though the half-hearted statement likely wasn't very convincing, Erika wasn't particularly concerned. "Oh, it's lunch time. Well, thanks for the conversation. Anyway, I'd best be going. I've got a few things I need to take care of before everything gets started."

With that, Erika excused herself from the lab, and went to the cafeteria, intending to find something to eat.

Indonea Camus ||

Indonea blinked, stretching up a hand to grab this so called 'Kane's' hand without even thinking about any repercussion or an insult she could throw at him. She was still extremely bewildered as to what the hell was going on, so right now all she wanted to do was find somebody who could explain it. She pulled herself up, stabilizing herself for a second before letting go and making eye contact. "Uh, yeah, I am new here. Indonea Camus," she mumbled, blinking a couple times before grasping at her neck gently, checking to make sure her robotic companion was still safely secure after her rush. "A tour might be nice," she continued, searching her mind for questions. "But before that, what in the world just happened?" she questioned, wondering what had brought up the abrupt change. She smiled slightly, trying to appear somewhat friendly. She looked at the girl, giving her a small wave. Overwhelming is an understatement, she thought bitterly and refocused on the... people, perhaps, that were in front of her. There was another one there, studying her it seemed, and he didn't introduce himself. Nonetheless, she looked back to Kane. Kane and Lamya... plus that unidentified being...

TIMESKIP

Tuesday, early morning.

Everyone should report to their first classes.

(Teacher responses will be live whenever I come home :/ )

The rest of the day passed and before she new it it was already a new day. Hours and blurred together into a constant stream of progress. She had been interrupted a few times, one of which was by Dylen who had brought her food. She thank him, mostly because it meant Digi would shut up already. She worked to refit her suit and make several drafts of coding. By the early morning hours she had a test schematic done and several different back up codes. Other projects and equipment had started to be refitted though the need for sleep won her over and she passed out for a few hours.

The sound of loud beeping brought Jade back to the waking world as the alarm that she set on her bracer went off. She sat up straight at attention for a moment before yawning and shutting off the alarm. The few hours of sleep she got was just what she needed to recharge her batteries and get back to work on her suit. Then she remembered that there was supposed to be class. Would the professors mind if she worked on her own thing? Probably... Didn't mean she shouldn't try to get some stuff done before class. Rubbing the bit of sleep from her eyes started scanning over everything she had done the night before. Review and checking to be sure there weren't any mistakes.

Fear, fear is the night where a furry creature sleeps in your dorm. Fear is the never-ending, unceasing, and determined, and incredibly violent look of two gleaming orbs of gold. Fear is never seeing them shut. Fear is the odd feeling should you close your eyes more than just to blink, a knife would meet your neck. The night was not pleasant for Dylan alright. Every move, every sound was suspect, all the while in the darkness, hunter's eye stared out. Silently, Was he asleep? He needed to sleep right? was he awake? then why was he silent? WHAT THE HELL ROOMING SITUATION WAS HE PUT IN?!

It was early morning when Dylan awoke, he quickly did his morning routine and rapidly as he could walked into the workshop. There was a bag in his hand. As usual there was jade already sitting down working on something. He shook his head looking at her, "You know it really stopped surprising me a while ago. One day you're going to follow up on your threats to disassemble Digit, and I'm not going to be here to bring you food from the cafeteria." He pulled a breakfast biscuit from the bag and shoved it in his mouth. He walked over to his work station and let Arach crawl down from his shoulder. He walked over to Jades station and put down the bad right in front of her. "Breakfast is served. Same thing I got, you can eat it with one hand so you can continue to work."
