Classes
Mage

8262f3466c14d4e10a336a8fc5533fb6.jpg
MageMagic user from rangeSub-Classes: Priest = A magic user that helps out their allies through a variety of spells that heal, shield and protect their target. A Priest is also able to cast spells that buff the target in one way or another(e.g. Damage)
Warlock = A user of the dark arts. Warlocks have access to life draining magic, summoning magic and more powerful spells that affect their targets more than simply doing damage (e.g. decreasing the amount of damage dealt by the target by like, 10% or sth) . The drawback for this power is that a Warlock must sacrifice their own health in addition to Mana in order to cast spells, making them extremely fragile. A Warlock that is careless can kill themselves quite easily.
Wizard = A master mage that concentrates on casting powerful spells on their enemies with the intention of doing damage. A wizard can also use elemental magic.
Summoner: Summoners are a very unique subclass to the Mage class. Summoners use their magic abilities to summon creatures to help them in a fight, though they can also be used for other purposes. Summoners usually start off with only being able to summon basic creatures such as a wolf, chicken, ferret, etc, and can only have one creature summoned at a time. Once a Summoner is a high enough level, they can summon even more powerful creatures and can have more creatures out at the same time

Tank

fh_menu-berserker_ncsa.jpg
Tank The guy that is supposed to take the most damage/meat shield for his teammates Sub-Classes:Berserker = A warrior who can sustain a lot of damage with the ability of dealing damage as well. A tank trades the utility it can provides to other players for damage, allowing the user to adopt a more selfish playstyle. The damage usually is activated by some sort of condition.
Paladin = Supportive tank that has protective abilities. Paladins do little damage, with them mostly slowing the enemy down for the DPS classes to take care of them. A Paladin's spells are not as powerful as the Priest's. However, a Paladin is a very important part of every raid party, as a Paladin provides the ability soak both damage and assist in teammates, making him the go to supportive class.
Vanguard = Somewhat damage oriented but doesn't deal as much as a berserker. A Vanguard is instead a leader unit that provides offensive buffs to his allies. Vanguards are essential for larger parties as they increase the damage output of the entire unit. And unlike the priest/paladin, the damage buff does not require mana. The Vanguard must simply be engaged in battle.

Ranger

81612aad20a10dc6520a37dea06efd14.png
RangerPerson that deals Physical damage at a rangeSub-Classes:Archer: Should a player choose to remain with the default bow, they can achieve the master bowman subclass. People who tend to go to normal Archery just increase their DPS via attack speed and damage of their arrows while also increasing accuracy.
Magic Archer: Although they haven't access to the raw damage output of the regular archer, Magic Archers can shoot enchanted bows that deal more than just damage to their enemies. (e.g. Frost Arrow that slows the target down
Hunter: Archer that can track people down. A Hunter can see through most types of cloaking/invisibility. A Hunter also has an access to a companion animal (earlier on it is a dog but then the hunter can upgrade it e.g. into a wolf/bear/eagle) and various traps.

Warrior

f01ea9e4f56a217ccf1eb63dde6e15b3.jpg
Warriors A basic melee fighter Sub-Classes:Knight: A more armoured version of the Warrior that sacrifices speed in favour of being able to be more durable.
Duelist: A more speed oriented warrior that can take less damage but concentrates on dodging. Like the name implies, a duelist is best at attacking a single target, giving him single target spells and such. Duelists are among the best for one on one combat.
Reaper: A reaper is a warrior that heals from his own attacks, meaning that he is able to stay in a fight without needing assistance from a priest or another supportive class. Reapers typically have lower maximum health, leaving them weaker to classes that do damage in bursts while countering Tank type classes as they are able to outlast them.

Rogue

Al_Gazi_the_assassin_by_hunqwert.jpg
Rogue A melee fighter that cannot sustain damage Sub-Classes:Trickster: Tricksters have access to lots of utility spells that allow them to fool their opponents. Blinding darts that throw off Archers, Smoke bombs and etc. Tricksters are very good at getting what they need without having to get into a physical fight. Although they can take care of a simple ingame monster, Tricksters are not battle oriented.
Ninja: Ninjas focus on taking down their targets. They get access to magic powers that augment their stealth. They also get access to shadow magic which lets them prepare their attack. Ninjas are not great at outright duels but are good at setting up targets for execution and then landing the killing blow.
Assassin: Assassins excel at burst damage. But unlike the other Rogue classes, they do not have access to abilities that improve their stealth. Assassins are better suited for all out battles. Their gameplay heavily revolves around dodging and attacking at the right moment. With Rogues in general having low endurance, Assassins are a high skill cap class as one mistake could mean the end. However, Assassins are given spells that help them get to their target faster and to kill them.

Day OneIra came to life in the middle of the market in the general server lobby. She looked around and saw that not many characters were on. Then again, the game did just come out after being taken down for a few years. Something about reconstructing the structure of the servers. All she knew was that her character was starting over. She hoped that some things were the same though. She loved the challenges you could find in every corner.

SCREEEE!

There was a challenge now. Her head turned to an alleyway, seeing a feathered tail disappear. She gripped her longsword and stalked over. She saw the back half of a feathery chimera hunched over a trash can, eating remains of food that had been tossed out. The words: "Level One" hovered over it.

"Hey there," she said, her voice coming out rough. She had a tenor sort of voice, so it was a bit intimidating. The chimera turned around and looked at her with red eyes, the carcasses of what it was eating hanging from its' teeth, "You look lost. How about I show you the edge of my blade?"

The chimera gave a loud screech and rushed towards her. She got into a fighting stance, her sword set in the middle in front of her. She waited for the chimera to get closer to her before she swung at it's neck. It gave a 51% hit. One more hit ought to do it. The chimera fell to the ground, weakened. She gripped her sword and attacked it again. The meter went down to 0% and the monster disappeared into thin air after giving a loud screech and dying. A few thousand coins erupted from the spot the chimera was at. Lion's teeth and goat hooves from the chimera appeared in her inventory. She made sure everything was collected and opened up her inventory:

Lion's teeth (4)
Goat hooves (4)

That's awfully pathetic. She sighed and checked her coin count

Coins: 12000

She needed to build up some more so she could start buying quests and build up her power. It increased a little after that attack, but she needed more. With a heavy sigh, she walked into the square and wandered around, looking for a way to transport to Bekakar.

Kiro spent a bit of time grinding to get the feel for the combat system of the game and to see whether he would like it. So far, there was not much that was really outstanding to him. But that did not mean he would stop playing. Perhaps the quests the game prided itself on would be more interesting to him. He sheathed his daggers after killing another boar, with him eventually getting bored. His health was starting to get low as well, meaning that he had to find out how the healing mechanic of the game worked. From what he had read, he should passively regenerate health when he gets into a safe zone and is out of combat for a minute or so. He had 2 health pots on him anyway just in case that wasn't the case. He found them by smashing pots. He personally found the mechanic a big archaic but it seemed that it was the only way to gather them other than buying them. And from what he knew, the quests costed gold so he wanted to be able to buy the best quests and the best gear.

After wandering in the town, he finally found the alchemist who sold the health potions. He watched as his health bar slowly crawled back to full hp, with him not needing to buy any. Thankfully, this was the same player he saw buy the boar tusks from the other players in order to make the health potions. Players who have businesses like these ingame usually did it to make money in real life. Kiro did this for fun however, not as some stressful job.

17 Boar tusks made him 850 gold. Combined with the achievement gold, he had a total of 12,850 gold in his inventory. Mindlessly walking while reading a guide he had, Kiro was trying to figure out how one could get from one kingdom to the other. After some time, he came across the portal area. Now he just had to find the one that went to Bekakar.

Iron decided to head to the portals so she could head to Bekakar. She saw a congregation of people try and figure out how to go to different kingdoms. She pulled out her manual and checked under portals to figure out which one took her to Bekakar. After a few minutes of trying to figure it out, she gave up and looked around. She saw a rogue player and decided maybe asking for help was the best thing to do. She walked over to the player and saw the words "Level 2" hovering over his head. She cleared her throat to get his attention.

After some reading, he figure out which of the portals was the one he had to use to get to his destination and was just reading up a few more things about the game. Transportation from place to place in earlier levels seemed to be easy and free, with it getting more complex and costly the later it got in the game. All he had to do was to step into this portal and he would be in Bekakar. He noticed someone clearing their throat near him. He looked around to find the person who requested his attention. She wore armor but did not seem bulky enough to be a tank. She was most likely a knight as the other warrior classes wore less armor. "Can I help you?" Kiro asked.

Ira nodded, "Yes. I'm trying to transport to Bekakar, but I'm not sure how the portals work. Any chance you can help me?"

Kiro was somewhat surprised by someone coming to ask him for help. He did not quite think of himself as the helper type really. He also wanted to play the rest of the game as a solo player, meaning that he did not quite want another player accompanying him yet. Having a contact couldn't hurt though. And the sooner he helped her out, the sooner they could part way.

"The portal right here is the one traveling to Bekakar. You simply have to step inside and you will be teleported. It is coincidentally my destination as well so we can go there together." He then started to walk towards the portal.

Ira smiled, "Thanks. I'm IronMaiden, by the way. You can call me Ira."
She walked with him towards the portal.

Kiro looked at her briefly before looking forwards and continuing. "Just call me Zero." Walking towards the portal, Kiro thought that there were some upsides to having a guild member or at least a person to accompany you during raids. The advantages of not going through the entire game were clear. However, the class he picked was one of the few optimal classes for solo players. He was thinking of going Berserker, with him refraining to do so as he is able to easily take down ranged opponents as an Assassin. And if he dodges perfectly, he wouldn't need anybody to tank damage or to heal him.

"Why are you headed to Bekakar?"

"I need quests, and I hear that the Quest Master of Bekakar is one of the best," she said as she pulled out her dagger. She noticed that there were some marks on it, most likely since it was a level one weapon. She wiped it on her exposed trousers. She still needed more armor so she could increase her defense. She sheathed the dagger, "I guess you're doing the same?"

Kiro shifted his eyes to the blade that his new companion had unsheathed before looking onwards. "I mean, there are only 4 main quest givers in the game. But still, I wouldn't regard her as one of the best. She does not sell great weapons or equipment which is sought after mainly. However, she does have access to certain magic that allows her to make abilities more powerful. I am planning on getting my abilities as powerful as I possible can before venturing out to more...profitable areas."

Ira shrugged. Getting the best armor wasn't always the main goal. Having some potions and spells in your sleeve was a good tactic to have, especially if you bought a high powered spellbook.
"Well, I like her. She has more of a tavern than a store. So I don't feel pressured to buy anything unlike other places. Shall we?" she motioned towards the portal.

"A tavern that I don't intend on staying in then." Said Kiro as he proceeded to go through the portal, without even waiting for her to finish. Stepping out, he looked around to take in the newer atmosphere. Now he had to find where this quest giver was.
