Rules:
1. I expect literacy from you. Be able to put a sentence together properly.
2. No one liners-- there is a two paragraph minimum per post.
3. I'm not saying you have to post everyday, but a few times a week would be nice. Please don't express interest if you can't meet this requirement. I know that things come up, and that's not what I'm talking about here.
4. Be polite and respectful. If you can't manage this, you will be kicked, and YC will be killed off. (ha.)
5. Unlike most of my roleplays, this IS first come, first serve. There will still be a writing sample required in the CS, though, and I reserve the right to deny your CS if you don't meet the requirements.
6. Romance isn't a must, but it's encouraged/enjoyed by most. (Note, I said most). But don't break RPN's rules. Fade to black if needed.
7. Be mature. Not saying this RP is going to break RPN's rules, but i'm saying there may be mature topics/triggers. Do not bash anyone's character or anything like that.
8. On the topic of triggers, please be respectful. Do some research if you have to. Triggers are nothing to take lightly, and if someone gets upset, don't bash them for getting upset. Warn us if your post or character has triggers/trigger warnings.
9. If you have an issue with someone, come to me first. Or be a big person and actually talk to them about it.
10. Gender roles are pre assigned for this rp, they are in parenthesis beside the gemstone name.

This plot takes place in a small to medium sized town called Golden Acres.

Some ten to fifteen years ago, our group of characters were young. They were friends, a tight knit group of kids. They were out playing in the woods one day when they discovered some gemstones, buried in the dirt underneath an old tree. They divided the stones amongst themselves, each picking one to keep forever. It was a sign of their friendship, and how it would never end.

But as is life, these children grew up. They drifted into a different group of friends, and a few of them probably stopped talking altogether. Middle school came and went, as did high school. Life goes on, as the saying goes.

But one night, a particularly nasty storm hit. There was something off about the storm, though. The energy was different. Each child-turned-adult that had a stone woke up to something off about themselves. They developed powers overnight it seemed, finding their stone set on the nightstand or dresser when they woke.

Will these powers bring this group of friends back together? Can they keep it a secret? Do they want to? Will they ever get along again?

So this RP revolves around a group of 8 kids, who are now in their twenties somewhere. Most likely they've lived in the town their whole life, but if you have an idea for someone who has just moved there, feel free to let me know. I'm all ears for ideas. They were close as kids, but drifted apart into different groups/cliques in school as they got older.

But when they awake with powers to find their stone on their nightstand, they know something is up.
