Bio:
Isabella Winters has always been the motherly, friendly type. Even as a child, the saying 'don't talk to strangers' had no meaning to her. She was the first to go up to a random person and say hi and try to make them smile. Most of the time, she was successful. She was quite the handful to her young parents, full of energy and sunshine that she wanted to share with the world. She sang before she talked, ran before she walked. She was always a step ahead of her own self, wanting to get there yesterday. She has been described as the glue of her group of friends, always the middle man, trying to keep everyone getting along.

Tragedy struck when she was a teenager. Both of her parents were killed in a drunk driving accident while out on a date night. Bella was being watched by her aunt, who was in town to visit. The police knocked on the door with the news, and Bella was the one to answer. Her aunt ended up moving to their town to live in their house and raise Bella, stating that it would be a nice change of pace from the city. Considering she only came to visit once every few years, Bella barely knew her, but she was the last family that Bella had.

As she and her friends started drifting apart, Bella found herself alone more often than not. In high school she was far from popular, and found herself being picked on by a few of the other kids. She was never the type to show how she felt, because she always put others before herself. So she just cried herself to sleep. But out of their group, Kaia was her rock. Even when Bella felt alone and low, Kaia was there. When the girl moved away to chase her dreams, Bella sent her off with a smile and the biggest hug anyone had ever seen. They kept in touch often, reminiscing about the old days and talking about the future.

Bella found her stone on her dresser about a month or so ago. At first, she didn't think anything of it. It was a little weird, sure, but she had other things to focus on. But then weird things started to happen. She'd always been good at reading people, but now it was different. She worked at a flower shop, and a woman came in one day, in tears because she'd just lost her husband. Bella, trying to be comforting, placed a hand on her arm. She could feel the woman's sadness, and it traveled through the woman-- who didn't feel a thing-- and into Bella. The woman left happy and smiling, while Bella sat in the back room, mourning a man she'd never met.

That wasn't the only thing, but it definitely started it.

Bio: [Triggers!!!! You've been warned!]
Nora Ann Berkley's childhood was full of dresses, costumes, and makeup. To her mother, mother-daughter time included pageants and ballet recitals. While daddy worked 16 hour days to take care of his two girls, mother transported the two around STATE to all the pageants. In the beginning, Nora Ann enjoyed the attention and all the pretty dresses but over time it wore her down.

When Nora Ann won, her mother was nice and would give her anything. If Nora Ann lost a pageant or ballet contest her mother turned into an evil person. Her teeth weren't white enough, she was too fat, her smile wasn't big enough, she needed to practice more. Her faults were shoved in her face even at a young age. Daddy didn't know what was happening. He was too busy working.

One day while running away from her mother after an argument, Nora Ann ran into a group of kids. From that day on she just sort of fell in line with them. Even going to her concerts and pageants she knew she had friends to fall back on when she got home. And then they found the gems. Erik took the pretty green that she had wanted so instead Nora Ann took the tiger's eye.

At 12, mom's constant nagging about her weight turned her down a dangerous path. Anorexia. She was already quite skinny for her age but the constant criticism from mom had worn her down. No matter what she ate or where she was, Nora Ann would end up in the bathroom throwing it back up. At 14, her friends were telling her she was too skinny. Some of them even invited her to eat at their house which she declined of course. In school the kids were not the nicest; usually calling her a bulimic bitch or some other horrible name.

Her group of friends had either moved away or distanced themselves. She distanced herself too, blaming ballet, pageants or school work for her absence. In reality she was having an inner meltdown. The bullying from kids at school plus mom's cancerous attitude made her pull into herself. One day, not wanting to be her mothers doll anymore, Nora Ann locked herself in her bathroom. Hair that reached the middle of her back was chopped to her shoulders. It was choppy, not symmetrical. It was perfect. Afterwards she dyed her hair green. The color stained the porcelain countertops and her pale hands.

Nora Ann turned into Nora. She blatantly ignored anyone who called her Nora Ann - including her mother who almost had a stroke at the sight of her daughter's new look. Daddy was a bit concerned but thought it was a teenager thing. She dropped ballet and the pageants and picked up a camera. At school she stayed to herself, not bothering to converse with anyone but the teachers. Group projects became projects that she completed by herself.

After graduating, Nora still lived at home but picked up a job at CVS as a part time cashier. She was still taking pictures, mostly of landscapes and abandoned buildings. The pictures she'd taken for years were plastered on her blog. The blog had gathered a small following which she was proud of. Mom was still her cancerous self and Nora tried to dodge the woman whenever she could.

It happened one night when her mother was drunk on wine. They were in the kitchen yelling back and forth. Her mother damning Nora to hell for ruining their lives when Nora felt fire creeping through her veins. The burn felt good and fed her anger. Next thing she knew her mother was on the ground, screaming while fire consumed her. Shocked, Nora froze for a second before jumping into action. The water Nora dumped on mom extinguished the fire but the woman's skin had melted. She called 911. A week later, mom was in the hospital's burn center with her body 80% burned. Nora visited once or twice.

She was out one night taking pictures of the night sky with a new high-def camera when the startings of a storm hit. Trying to shield her camera with her jacket, she cursed the news channel for their wrong weather prediction as she made her way home. In her room, in the center of her bed, lay the tiger eye. Confused, she looked at the closet remembering she'd packed away a lot of stuff from her childhood. She tossed it back into the closet and closed the door, not wanting to open things from the past. Next day Bella called and texted. Nora ignored both.

Jared reached for the bottle of brandy, pouring the liquor into both of their glasses. He hadn't asked Blake if she wanted the drink or not and frankly couldn't care less if she didn't touch it. He held the empty bottle out to the side so one of his men could take it out of the way. She mentioned Carter and her assumption that he had spoken with him about her loyalties. He gave no reaction to confirm her words, as accurate as they might be.

"I understand you've been having sleepovers at the Porters' house. Really, by this point, McCarthy isn't needed for you to continue that. I'm sure you'd do a stellar job at acting as the grieving girlfriend, attacked by the IWU. Hell, you've even got the marks on your face to back your story up. The bonus is that you don't have to sleep with the guy anymore to do your job," he told her. His voice was continually calm and perhaps unnervingly so.

Blake explained that Jackson had provided more information than she'd taken from the rest of the Porters. A brief smirk crossed his lips as she told him McCarthy was lonely. He sat forward as she said she had to work hard to get her information and that Ciara trusted her. He took a sip of his brandy as she went on to explain about Carter wanting to kill her and being jealous of her interactions with Jackson. "Honestly, do you think I have time to think about you and Carter having petty little squabbles? I'm sure if Carter had really wanted to kill you he would have."

Blake assured him her loyalties were with the IWU and that she was offended he doubted her. "Here's the thing, Blake. I don't feel like you've given me anything to work with at all. As for Ciara, her word means very little to me since she started blowing buildings up and trying to get into bed with Porter's mentally ill brother." Jared placed the palm of his hand down flat on the table a rapped his fingers on the surface for a brief time. His eyes then fixed squarely on Blake's. "I have very little concern for whether or not I have offended you. My concern lies with the fact I don't believe you've done enough to prove yourself to the IWU. Even Elijah Porter proved himself and he was doped up on medication most of the time." Jared turned back to the window, looking down on the street that would soon be much livelier. "I see great potential in you, Blake," he said, turning his head back so he could look to her. "This afternoon, you're going to kill someone. If you really are loyal to the IWU, you will remove one of our biggest threats. You can do that, can't you?" he asked her.

Biography

Kaiata, also goes by her preferred name Kaia was born in the small town of Golden Acres. Raised by none other than two fathers and she was never displeased by it. It was still a normal childhood she was nurtured in to a certain extent. Despite never knowing her mother, she still missed her and wants to get a chance to know her but not even her biological father knows of what even happened to his former lover. It's like she disappeared for the both of them. Kaia was never against her father's homosexual relationship. As long as he was happy, so was she. That's what truly mattered.

That being said, Kida was never one that had many friends or if she was ever the center of attention was because she was bullied. Either by her ethnic background, her body fat or the fact that she had homosexual parents, especially since gays were not really tolerated back in the day just as much as they are now. It was only why she personally hated her first years at schools in general till the age of twelve. It only got worse as she grew older. The only friend she could rest her head on and not worry that she will be judged was her closest friend Isabella. She knew the girl ever since they were in diapers. Her fathers and Bella's parents were close family friends which led to the two young girl meet ups. The pair eventually became three, three made four and from four and small group of eight young-lings who found each other always. Always meeting at the hidden lake that Kaia herself found one day and suggested to them.

However, as the bullying worsened, her dads started to took a job opportunity outside Golden Acres which was an opportunity to move away. A fresh page for the three. Kaia did not want to leave her friends behind but at her age, she had no say and simply got dragged with her dads. With that, a new page of her life started.

Kaia decided that in order to turn a new leaf, she needed to start with the one thing that bugged her the most. Her body. She turned the one thing she loved, swimming into her hobby which eventually became her training and her daily goal. From fun swims to daily splashes to marathons to road for her profession. Making a name for herself in the swimming sport nation wide. Winning competitions as her dads accompany her for support. She even visited her hometown once in a million. Keeping contact mainly with Bella who supported her through the internet as best as she could.

She didn't have any friends which was a cause mainly due to the fact that they constantly moved and not have a stable environment. It didn't quite aid. There were many countries and diverse cultures that they have been. Which to an extent she liked, especially so many opportunities to aid her in her need to simply discover. Moving every six months, having a lot of time to herself, she started working on her own interests, strengthen it. Eventually, the female managed to achieve another goal while she was in a stable country for a few months. When she was off from her competitions, the female got her first job as a lifeguard. A job she does not regret on taking by one bit.

Life as a lifeguard was not one to be taken lightly either. Long days in the sun, dehydrating hours and lots of tension events whenever the sea was out of shape. However, it was fun seeing the diverse people. Even though, whenever she sees thrashing on the beach or people disobeying she simply lost it. In fact, she was severely hurt once when the beach was not safe for swimming, there was one reckless male who ignored the warning and jumped anyways. Not heeding her warning. Surprise, surprise the male was caught in the waves and it was her call to aid him. She managed after long struggles but when he got safe, one huge wave sent her right into the rocks, injuring her severely. Sending her with a concussion and various bruising towards the hospital.

However, as she woke up in the hospital, it was dark. Blinking her eyes open slowly she noticed something that glimmered. It was none other than a gem. The same exact gem that rested in on her bedside table. A nice and shining aquamarine gem stone. The same exact gem that she found together with her young childhood friends years and years ago. How did that gem end up in her hospital table she did not know. Perhaps one of her fathers placed it there because it was something she treasured?

Nonetheless, horrid weeks being bed ridden passed away and she made it a point that she did not want to stay there anymore. She wanted to go back in town, her home town, Golden Acres. Kaia was missing it greatly. She was twenty three and she wanted her own way. Especially since she kept her swimming profession at bay. No harm done in just being a lifeguard. Just a lifeguard. Upon discussion with her dads, they agreed to let her stay in their old house. They also wanted to spend their journey with her before they part ways. Hence, they drove her. She loved a good family road trip. It was delightful yet weird. She knew that she felt close with the water but she swore she could have been imagining when she saw it motion to her hand ever so slightly. Just slightly. It couldn't have been.

Parting with her fathers was hard. However, having just arrived back in Golden Acres, without any notice, she could not wait to see her friends. The ones that were there, she hoped all. Especially Bella who she knew hundred percent she was there. However, as far as Bella knew, Kaia was far far away.

Taken from War of the Primordials
Felicity was by no means an early riser. She believed a lot in her beauty sleep which kept her complexion and her health at their best shape. Especially when Felicity was the epitome of perfection. Both in how she does things and how she deems she looks. However, all these news about the long forgotten starting to rise that were rattling the camp had every or at least almost every camper on edge as to what was being undergone outside the camp's walls. Especially her cabin. The Aphrodite Cabin had been on full on gossip mode the past few weeks. Not missing one ounce of the information, including Felicity. You would be surprised how much events happened in camp that no one takes notice of. But in Cabin Ten, it's where the HQ of daily Camp Half-Blood Gossip was produced. Especially flings, new romances and fashion trends.
However, today it seemed the brunette fell out of her bunk as she was up and ready to start the day from seven in the morning which was an unusual sight to begin with. Dressing herself in some white off shouldered ruffled shirt and short jeans paired with brown sandals, the female headed towards the pavilion to get her daily breakfast dose. In the right amounts for her balanced diet. She loved having her chicken salad with a nice cup of juice while her eyes scanned the area for any drama to intake. Or at least some eye candy she could run after to make her siblings jealous. She was queen bee and she was not going to let some pesky sister take her spot just like that. Especially after six years at this cheap styled camp. She marked her territory especially since it seemed like she was stuck here.
It was not a good morning for Felicity. Whenever she woke up early, make that an instant bad day. That being said, she tries her best not to be so sour and so she went back to her cabin to satisfy and better her mood by organizing her trunk. It needed a good clean up after all and so she did. The brunette sauntered her way towards her cabin where half her siblings were still resting. Nonetheless she still proceeded what she wanted to do. She wanted to better her mood before approaching any of her friends. Opening her bottomless trunk that she had a Hecate demi-god enchant for her extended collection of clothing to be stored it she literally scooped up piles and piles of clothing on her bunk to a point where the bunk was simply covered. It took time and lots of it to neatly fold and color co-ordinate accordingly before neatly placing them back in her chest storage by the foot of her bunk.
Considering that little exercise to please herself, Felicity felt cheered up and inspired. Especially when two of her brother's had passed by claiming they were going to go train. Believe it or not, her and some of her siblings agreed to train and for Felicity that meant gaining knowledge on how to use close ranged weapons. All Felicity knew was how to throw a mean kick and defend herself when it came to hand-to-hand and a tad expertise in long ranged such a manky crossbow pistol that she had been attempting to use and successfully mastering, however it was so battered that it was not appealing her taste. So she wanted to better her skills with swords or spears or even daggers. She tried a spear. Failed. Daggers, failed. Today her attempt was swords. All she knows that poor Pierce, a close friend of hers who happened to be a son of Ares is nearly going to break a small area in one of the arena walls with the amount of head bangs resulted from Felicity's terrible close ranged weapon wielding. She doesn't blame him she was hopeless. In fact she wanted to save him any further injuries and went to the arena a bit before schedule so she can fail miserably by herself.
Heading towards the armory, the brunette took her sweet time trying to pick a sword, even though the majority were all the same. Her eyes fell to a sword which had a fancy leather hilt. It caught her eye. However, as she came to lift it she had to use both hands as that was definitely heavy for the daughter of Aphrodite. Nonetheless, she managed to drag the sword and her own self towards the arena and in front of a dummy that she spent around a good fifteen minutes debating whether these dummies had feelings. In a sense, could they feel pain? What if they had to feel pain? Getting stabbed, poked, prodded and jabbed from every possible angle. It was then a random body collided with her and sent her toppling backwards with a squeal of surprise. "Hey watch it, mutt!" she exclaimed, standing up and dusting herself frantically. Ew.
"Whoops, sorry. However, the arena is no place for petty princesses like you. Stick to clothing, princess." the gruff male insulted earning himself a scoff from the brunette.
"At least this princess can kick your ass while still looking fabulous in the process. Now... run along pooch. Shoo." Felicity retorted as she shooed him away with both her hands and so he listened, walking away and shaking his head. Felicity huffed and struggled to lift her sword once again and attempt to get her head in the game.
Attempting one struggled swing, Felicity struck ever so weakly the dummy's side. With another huff she tried again. She swung it and managed to hit around its' neck. Better however the sword was incredibly heavy for her. Felicity's annoying meter was starting to bubble before she struck the dummy's side again, only this time her black got stuck with the wood. "Eugh..." she attempted to disconnect the blade from the dummy. Maybe the guy was right. She didn't belong in the battlefield... especially not with close ranged weapons of course. Though she loved to give herself the benefit of the doubt.

Relationships

Bio: Erik has always been a little strange. He believed in nearly everything there was to believe in since he was just a few years old. It was seen as "norma;" at first, believing in Santa Claus, the easter bunny, etc. But as he got older and he learned that those weren't real, he kept on to other things. Things that couldn't be proven false. See, he knew that Santa Claus, the easter bunny and the tooth fairy weren't real because his parents were them, but for other things, things that couldn't be proven not to be real, he believed in.

Not only was Erik extremely superstitious, but he would listen to conspiracy theories for hours and hours. He would read everything there was to read on various ones, and many of them he came to believe himself. It's not that Erik is dumb or gullible, he isn't easily lied to, but when he hears about something that has evidence to back it up he subscribes to the belief.

He wasn't sure exactly when he got the gem. He remembered the experience vividly, but he couldn't tell you what year it was exactly. They had all found them, him and his friends. He had been obsessed with how intense the green on the emerald was. None of them believed that they were real gems at first, or, at least he didn't, but he later found out that it was, in fact, a real emerald. He had been tempted to pawn it on multiple occasions when times were tough, but something always kept him drawn to it. He didn't talk to many of his friends from that time anymore, and the emerald was one of his only reminders of his childhood.

When he got older he decided he wanted to go to beauty school. Something his father wasn't completely happy with, but he and his mother had supported him anyway. He turned out to be quite good at it, and once he graduated he cut "high fashion" looks for many models. Most of the time he worked in a nice salon that paid pretty well, but occasionally he would get called to do the various run way shoot. He liked his life, simple as it was.

Personality:
Positive
+ Protective - Remi will stand up for her friends, even going so far as to physically fight people who upset them.
+ Dependable - When push comes to shove, Remi will do all she can for those she cares for, dropping everything if need be.
+ Kind - At her core, Remi is a very kind and forgiving person, willing to let most things roll right off her back and not worry her.
Negative
- Aggressive - An unfortunate consequence of Remi's protective nature is that she tends to pick fights where they're not needed.
- Stubborn - Getting Remi to back down is harder than it looks. More often than not she'll wind up with a bloody nose before admitting she was wrong.
- Oblivious - Remi can be rather dense at times, especially when it has to do with something she's done winding up hurting other people emotionally.

Bio: Remi as a child was quiet. She was reserved, shelled-in, and highly protected by her parents. Coming from a wealthy family, her mother and father pampered her heavily, while also instilling intense fears of the unknown or rule-breaking in her as a young girl. Her parents often over-exaggerated the consequences or potential consequences of her actions in an effort to scare her into obeying their commands. By the time she met her friend group, she had been anything but exciting. She did as told, ate only what was given to her, and knew little of actually having friends. In fact, it was a miracle she even made friends in the first place. The first thing that drew Remi out of her shell was the nickname "Remi", given to her by one young Hector Corsair. Because he gave her a chance, she was able to break out of her shell and make friends with the rest of the group. She often sneaked out of her house and away from the watchful eyes of her house servants and parents to play with her friends in the forest.

It was right around late middle school to early high school when things started to fall apart. Her parents had noticed her absence, and as all parents would, confronted her about it, ranting to her about the dangers of the woods and exaggerating like normal. Only now, Remi had a backbone. She had a reason to resist her parents' words. She had her friends, after all, and they were counting on her. So, for the first time in her life, Remi got into an argument with her parents. She was promptly grounded, of course. But something about that moment sparked a light in her, a rebellious flame that refused to go out without a fight. She tore up her old dresses and skirts, used her allowance to buy more masculine and punk-like clothes, shaved her head, and got her ears pierced. Needless to say, her parents were horrified. Remi continued to sneak out a night to meet up with her friends, but more and more often they wouldn't meet her at their old meeting place. Something with Remi told her that they didn't like the way she'd changed. So the girl distanced herself from the group. Fine. If they didn't want to be around the new Remi, new Remi didn't want to be around them.

Remi made friends with the delinquent group in school, and while it never felt quite like her first friend group, it fit well enough that Remi didn't often find herself wishing for her old friends back. Through high school she attended wild parties, had a few boyfriends, and generally lived a rather care-free life. At sixteen she got a part time job as a waitress at a small restaurant, moved into a dump of an apartment at eighteen, and picked up the bar-tending skill at age twenty. Needless to say, Remi's had her fair share of struggles. Her attitude towards life and generally unstable financial situation and career choice didn't make her much of a desirable life partner, not to mention her frequent partying and recklessness. To any casual observer, one could say she's on a downwards spiral. And Remi would probably agree. If only there was something that could change this around...

Luis wasn't the first to arrive, as per usual. His car was what one could consider a clunker. His parents had insisted that he purchase his own first car, if only to make him appreciate the value of money. They promised to insure it for him, of course, so the boy went out of his way to look for the cheapest car he could find. Luck have it, a buddy from the street gave Luis his current wheels for practically free. His parents, of course, weren't entirely thrilled. It took more to insure the thing than it did to purchase, after all!

The stoner chuckled to himself, remembering briefly the look on his parents' faces when he rolled up in a piece of metal that was leaking fumes and barely functional. He appreciated money, all right. He appreciated it enough to not spend it on something extravagant like his parents expected him to. Pulling into the driveway, he shut the engine off, the chassis shaking slightly as the pistons shuddered to a stop. Everyone in the house probably heard his arrival, given how much noise the engine made. Popping open his car door, he slid out of the vehicle and moved around to the trunk, opening that up as well.

He had made sure to save his best stuff for this occasion. Lifting two bags out of the trunk, the car suspension bouncing a bit with the heavy weight lifted off the back tires, he set a duffel bag on the gravel beneath him and slung the large backpack over his shoulder. The duffel was filled with pretty much everything of value he had - clothes, electronics, and quite a few bottles of alcohol. The backpack over his shoulder was packed with drugs and drug paraphernalia - a couple bongs, lighters, wraps, and lots of weed. Of course, he'd shove the backpack under his bed until he figured out who at the house liked this stuff and who didn't. Luis wasn't looking for fights, after all, and if some people didn't want to be associated with what he had, then he'd respect that.

Picking up the duffel bag, he squinted his eyes against the bright summer sun and awkwardly waddled to the door, the same waddle one did when they were carrying heavy items, or too many grocery bags. The person who arrived before him, Char, had left the door wide open, so Luis casually moved himself inside. "Hey, guys. I see I'm late to arrive, as per usual." Taking a moment to let his duffel bag rest on the ground, Luis hefted the weight of it again and continued down the hall, to where the bedrooms are.

All three seemed to be taken at this point, one of the room clearly being Char's, the unpacked one probably Scarlett's going simply off the look of the bag in the room. Shrugging, Luis decided he'd save the other two guys from having to deal with the girls and dumped his duffel on the bed opposite the one Scarlett claimed. Of course, while it was only required two of them had a co-ed room, it wasn't entirely impossible that all six of them would be sharing a room with a member of the opposite sex. Shrugging again, Luis slung his backpack down onto the bed and knelt down, lifting the bed skirt and sliding the backpack underneath. There. Now it was less likely anyone was gonna ask him about it. He was certain Char did't want drugs in her budding actress career, but quite honestly he had no clue what everyone else thought. If anything, Scarlett was probably the most likely to at least try what he had.

Meandering back to the group, hands in his pockets, he smiled lazily. "So, anyone got anything fun planned for tonight? Or are we gonna settle in and take it slow first?" he asked. His fingertips traced over a blunt in his right pocket, and a lighter in the left. He wanted to light up so badly, but here and now wasn't the time or place.

Bio:
Malcolm was raised in a troubled home. Pretty much as early as he could remember his parents had bitter arguments. His mother constantly screaming at his father for various reasons and his father yelling back declaring his innocence. Never did they care that they were exposing their son to their rocky relationship, probably assuming he wouldn't remember any of it. He did, however, and felt self-conscious about his home life from a very early age. Once he got a little older his parents eventually called it quits, filing for a divorce following that with an ugly custody battle. It led to Malcolm often times feeling alone in a world he thought was filled with hate. He grew comfortable with being alone during that period, relying on himself before asking for anything, keeping his feelings to himself as well. His mother ended up gaining custody of him, which meant he was forced to stay in their town while his father moved to the city. Often times Malcolm wished he too could have left, but that ship had sailed.

Though he was quite independent when at home, he always felt comfortable around his childhood friends. He didn't think about the issues he faced at home when out with them, and he loved it. Everyone came from different places and had their own baggage, and it was what made being with them feel more like a home than anything. He smiled and joked often, feeling comfortable enough to be himself around them all. He remembers a period of time where things really mellowed out and being with his mother didn't bother him so much. He had has friends. Life felt quite alright. Then, his mother had found another man who she had gotten with that would often come around. Malcolm quickly realized the situation was toxic and before long they were arguing back and forth just as his parents did when he was younger. Instead of leaving this time though, his mother resorted to drugs and seemed to take to this man more than she did to Malcolm. She was in such a vulnerable state that she couldn't bear the thought of leaving this man, even if it meant tossing Malcolm aside. This angered Malcolm a great deal. Because of the upset balance at home, Malcolm shut himself down, separating himself from his friends and quickly becoming a loner at school. A look of bitterness was found on his face from those years onward. The beginning of high school was when he really began to take art seriously. He would spend all of his time focusing and thinking about his art and finding ways to take out his frustration through his work. In his mind, he was prioritizing the right thing.

Malcolm flew under the radar for the rest of high school, his eyes trained on fleeing town and forgetting all that he associated with living there. He went to art school in the city and focused his sights on doing that for the rest of his life. In his time at school, he mellowed out a great deal, learning not to remain so angry about the things that had really bothered him in his past. He addressed these issues and found positive outlets to release these feelings of frustration and anxiety, but many nights he still finds himself hating his mother.

His life in the city was fast-paced and filled with distractions. His work in school had gotten him quite a bit of buzz in the art world, making it possible for him to land loyal clientele out of school. He debated over and over whether or not he would move back to his hometown and get to working there, but ultimately decided he would go ahead and make the move. He needed the quiet and at this point, he hadn't spoken to either of his parents in years. He couldn't possibly be returning to anymore drama..right?

Bio
| Hector was the only child born to first generation immigrants. They had lived most of their lives in Mexico but decided to come to America to live the dream. His father was a landscaper and his mother was a full time mom. His parents always pressured him to do good in school and his teachers could always tell that he was smarter than the average student. Because of this Hector got moved up two grades. This made it incredibly difficult for him to find friends as everyone was older than him. It didn't help that Hector automatically assumed the kids were stupid. Because of this hector found himself gravitating to younger kids and that was where he found the group.

Some kids teased him at school for hanging out with kids younger than him and some even resorted to bullying. Nothing too bad but enough to just reinforce the idea that he really shouldn't be hanging out with people his age. It was with this group of friends that Hector discovered his love for gambling. It started out innocently enough with dares for things. Betting on who could throw a rock the farthest or betting Malcolm couldn't jump over that creek. The night the group found the gemstones Hector snatched up yellow merely because it was his favorite color.

When Hector reached high school he began to drift away from his friends. By that point people stopped teasing him as much about his age and he'd started to make different friends. He still talked to them when he saw them in the neighborhood but it wasn't the same. High school is also where his love for gambling became not so innocent. His parents had begun giving him lunch money and he and his new friends would play poker with all of theirs. Hector won so often that his usual friends stopped playing and he would have to sucker other people in.

Hector didn't think twice about leaving for college but he did stop by and say bye to everyone one last time. In college his love for gambling only grew and he studied to be an engineer. Hector was positive he could have done something more but the idea of building something that people could look at from a distance and admire sold him on it. Once he graduated and found a job he payed to move his parents out of the little house they'd been living in for so long. He had built two houses, one for him and one for his parents.

The morning he woke up and looked over to see the gemstone from all those years ago he was confused. He had almost forgotten about it and he was positive he hadn't left it sitting there. Hector didn't even remember the last time he'd seen it. He decided to worry about it later but he didn't even make it five minutes before voices started screaming in his head. At first Hector panicked but he slowly realized that all the complaints were about traffic and how people were going to be late. He was stuck in rush hour traffic. It slowly dawned on Hector that he had somehow gained the ability to read minds. He took a personal day and went to a park. He practiced his power, mainly how to turn it off. When he was stuck in traffic he could hear every single person in about a thirty foot radius thinking. It was maddening. He practiced all day and got control of it, becoming able to pick and choose who he wanted to listen to.

This revelation brought the gambling fever back stronger than ever. Hector immediately took a vacation to Las Vegas with some friends and completely cleaned house at the poker tables. He was kicked out of several casinos with more money than he'd ever had. Now Hector is a professional poker player. In his short time with the power he'd made millions. It was easy to win when you knew exactly what cards everyone at the table had. He was living a lavish life with no care in the world when he got a text from Bella. She was asking that all their old friends return to their hometown. Hector had assumed he was the lucky one and only his gem had powers but if the rest had powers too, he wanted to see what they were. It was the first time he would return to his hometown since he left.
