did you ever concieve of what would happen if their world view was changed, Â it would make a great story arch for a character, losing faith would be a huge blow to the zealot.

I think the character would certainly have a breakdown. However, since zealotry is in his nature, he would probably find some other beleif to cling to eventually.

A paragon is a hero. Â He strives to be such.
A zealot strives to follow an ideology.
I guess paragon could serve, if you wanted to be the paragon of a certain set of values, but the one Still has come up with is more accurate, if you wanna play a religiously feverent character, I'd expect.
I guess Zealot is also about having a rigid world view, wheras Paragon is more about just being generally heroic.

Loyalist
You are staunch in your support and reliable to the end.  You may owe your allegiance to friends, family, a superior or an organisation – but whatever it is, it commands your fierce loyalty and protection.  Other things often take second precedence, if that.  You cannot abide those who would turn their back upon that which they should serve, and this can blind you to the necessity of such acts.
